okay so im trying to learn how to rig my own model (since i cant afford a rigger at the moment); ive been trying to upload my models psd file into live2d but it wont upload? this file size is 334,959 KB with a 4000 X 7000 canvas size. I also tried it with my old model psd (which is much bigger file size - 347,318 KB with a 5082 x 8808 canvas size) and that one went in with no issues? please help im going crazy lol ive also checked and its is RGB/8 BIT ive also made a new psd and copied the layers and exported it in there and nothing

I would try opening the PSD in a program like krita to resave it and see if that helps. I would also check if you have any layers with special characters in the layer name as well.
If you commissioned the model art, you may want to reach out to the artist to see if they have any weird issues with it.

i checked the file names and everything seems good, i also opened it with krita and it still wont go in? >.< i commisioned it from my artist friend who does vtubers and the psd opens in in photoshop well (she also sent me a new file to see if it was currupted and nothing) idk if im doing something wrong or how to check
(im not sure if its okay to ask on here also if someone who knows how to rig maybe can take a look at the psd and see what they can tell if something is wrong with it so i can let my artist friend maybe fix the file) not sure if it might be the size or something

i would try checking for any masks, adjusments layers etc and deleting/raster it

Yeah, I would be free tomorrow. I'm just really curious what is the cause because it is odd krita can't handle it but photoshop can.

thank you so much! i greatly apprecite it, its also driving me craxy that my bigger psd file from my old model can load in but this newer and smaller one cant! let me know if its okay to send a friend request to dm the psd tomorrow or link to it to you tomorrow. thank you again in helping me try to learn this
