#Updating PSD. What do I do exactly?

I have a model that I have currently rigged to a certain point and I would like to modify some parts that already exist. but also add some more parts that I decided on later on.
For context: this is my 1st time even attempting to do a model let alone design a character.
The layers that needs updating are stuff that I didn't think would need to be filled but when I rigged them found out there were "missing parts" that show up in it. some parts need better texturing and so on.
the parts that need adding include slicing the body to rig that as well since it was not a concern for me before but now is. And decided to add more hair since the hair layers I have so far doesn't feel enough.

What's the best way I can import these to my model? kinda overwhelmed since there's a bit to do. Will I need to have 2 copies of the model and do the changes seperate? (one for the changes and one for the additions?)

Also I have updated my model before to change like 2 or 3 layers. this time I feel like I might end up adding 20 or so layers. and updating at least 10 of them

As long as the layers you want to keep still have the same names, you can replace the old psd with the new one~

Live2d will keep all the rigging you’ve done so far, and make a folder with all the added parts, at which point you can just drag and drop them where you want them to be
