yikes, procreate. well regardless, anything with left and right will need to be separated on their own layers
yeah ik 😭 i have clip studio so im gonna put my psd through there to try and save myself some trouble
also okay ty! :D other than that does it all look okay? i need to do th clothes still so ill probably be back here to make sure those are okay too when i do them :D
i heard you may have to manually "delete the area outside of the model part" too when correcting the psd from procreate :0
the bangs could probably be separated more for better movement and physics
i'm not 100% on this so feel free to correct
when using Photoshop to "convert" the psd, CSP does it automatically
ohh okay okay
same with the back hair
ooo okay okay ill keep this in mind!! ty!! :D
im still new to l2d as well but i wonder if maybe separating lip line from lip skin might make it easier to rig mouth forms?
[ can glue the mesh too ]
Normally its recommended that the lips are a straight line that you then deform into other shapes, but honestly that's up to you. If its meshed well, it can get by pretty good. Lips are typically also separated line from skin
could anyone help me with how i could seperate the hood on the hoodie? im not sure how to seperate it so a bit of it is behind the head and neck and a bit of it is in front
i would separate it like this personally :0 if this makes any sense?
front / back for the hood, the parts on top and then the strings!
ooooh okay thank you so much!!! thats so helpful for a visual learner :D /gen /vpos
ofc! same ^^
ill seperate the pieces then post them here to make sure i did it right :D
unless i should seperate each side of the hoodie parts from left and right? but im not sure
i would assume this piece is back part but i would recc draw more so it covers enough
as for strings i dont know if there's need to put "string top" since you can just.......... move them below hood layers lol
its just bc i want to convey a fold and i thought it would work :o
yea i thought of that too and did it :D
yeah but the way theyre drawn onto the piece, it would look a bit awkward if they were stuck underneath the hood
oh! could you overlay them so i can see?
OHHH i understand
right bc the resolution was so tiny i didnt see it at first kekw
< did not zoom in
ur fine dw!!! :D /gen /pos
also yeah! one sec :)
is this what you meant? :o /genq
