im a first time Live2D user and i was wondering does everything have to be clipped? and if so how do you know where to clip it too?

you clip the things you need to clip
example
shadows over x part of the body so it doesnt looks like a transparend layer floating on the background
the pupil inside the sclera so when it blinks it dont show
how to clip?
you select and copy the ID of the layer you want to clip to
and paste it on the "clipping" slot of the object you want to clip

ohhh so for example hair wouldnt have to be clipped to each other?

nop, you dont need to clip hair to each other,
clip in live2d is the same as "mask" in art softwares

ohhhh that makes it make more sense i was following a tut that kinda said you should be clipping everything

maybe it was a little because some artist leave all "masked" but once you inport the psd in live2d, the mask breaks because you had to do it again
i assume thats what they tried to mean xD
