wing separation help?

probably not the best way to do it but this is how i seperate angel wings if it helps

Oh I see! Could you explain a little further which parts are which?

The white blob is the very back of the wing at the top- basically a base for it, then the shorter three pieces are the inner fold of the wing which go under the three longer pieces that make up the outer fold

I'm not great at explaining things so lmk and I can show it better with a picture
