#pasting mesh gets reflected

so i want to glue two parts together. I saw a technique on twitter where you copy the mesh from one layer and paste it onto another but when I try and do that (using ctrl+c and ctrl+v) it gets pasted onto the other side. i can possibly reflect the mesh horizontally but the model is not centered (even after trying to center it myself) so why does pasting the mesh reflect to the other side? and what can I do to fix that?

did you reflect that part? when you copy and paste the mesh goes to the original position, so if you reflected the original position would be the other side

i think so, but even the original side does the same thing

#

will it happen even after re-meshing it?

just a test, what happens if you try to copy outside mesh edit

#

also you can try just moving the mesh after reflecting, even if it's a little bit off the program will adjust when you glue both together G3_MarineThink

no like copy the mesh outside mesh edit and paste in mesh edit for the other layer

it gets pasted normally without reflection

like you can just center in csp/photoshop if the psd you receive from the artist is not centered
