No I am just saying that if he is playing with mouse and keyboard it doesn’t matter on what targeting mode he is so you can choose whatever u want if you play with controller

Personally when I used to play on pc I didn’t care on what targeting mode I am, I have a friend that played in assisted aim lobbies because he played with controller and I didn’t mind

It’s about preference I play on PS5 now and I play in either lobbies but play in free aim more

I like pvping in free aim the most because that shows the persons skill the most
