Your secondary archetype combined with your primary archetype will make your final class. So for your warlock example, your character will have mage spells, with summoner augments of your choosing. We cant say for certain what that will look like for warlock yet but expect the names to mainly be flavor text, and not an accurate representation of the type of spells you Will possess.

You can upgrade T2 mount skins to T3 if they also are designed for that. The only one I can think of off the top of my head that fits that is the Emberstorm Dragon
But you have to also meet the requirements to have a T3 flying mount (be mayor, ect)

The server used for Alpha 2 will be testing long term problems they’re concerned about involving nodes and what have you. They will adapt it to continue post launch for public tests.

If the skin is for a T1 mount it can only be applied to a T1 mount. Most horses are land mounts, therefore T1. Certain T2 skins can also be applied to T3 mounts

As an FYI - I suffer from arthritis and my reaction is much slower at times also. When it is acting up - I craft. I usually have a supply support system in most games so acquiring materials is seldom a problem. Fairly certain your friend can still get the camaraderie of friends through full on crafting support if he is ok with it himself. Secondly - I do hope, personally, some accommodations are made for disabled if its possible.

I have a question about Nodes. I know there are 103 nodes (not counting Castles) and that whichever race makes up the majority influences the architecture. That said, will there be any nodes that allow for unique cities? I'm talking like a seatown, or a tree house city (like Kelethin), and a cave/dwarven city.

For example a Tank could equip a Wand and a Mage could equip a sword + shield, but it doesn't mean that'll be the best for them
There's also a weapon skill tree so players can build more into whatever weapon type they want

Why do people worry about that? Make a build that's most fun for you to play. If it ends up not 'being good' in traditional encounters and situations... then it's not about your build that you should change, you should consider changing the way people encounter you. Find allies that bolster your build with theirs, the great thing about 64 variants is that you're not going to just see 64 1v1 encounters when you consider other player synergy with your kit

I believe they stated they don't want to give any guesstimates to prevent putting their team on a deadline, and also prevent people from being upset if they aren't able to meet that goal. Which sucks but at the same time with the video game industry as it is I support not putting undue stress onto the people in your company.

then you can buy the cosmetic types that were in the pack you bought as shown in the image above
So Voyager plus contains all the cosmetics, so you can buy all the future cosmetics. Expeditionary pack only contains the accessory and pet so you can only buy those in the future rotations

So after you buy a $375 key... you can buy individual items from future monthly listing. So for example the current listing for the month you could just buy the mount for $25, or a boat for $25, or a pet for $15. Or you could choose to buy them all... but no you don't have to drop another $375 if you like next month's cosmetics

In new world it devolved into what seemed like running from location to location seemed to be 80% of gameplay

I read the class wiki. Is the intent with the bard to be a more classic style, having the ability to twist songs or chants? (Twist: interweave buffs simultaniously ie recast 2 seconds, spell lasts 6 seconds, therfore, alternating 3 buffs simultaniously)

You have the option once you have a package to purchase cosmetics from the future packages individually. If you miss them, you miss them. They have given no indication, and pretty much the opposite that you will never be able to get cosmetics once cycled off.

Alpha 2 is probably at least 18 months off based on the content they want it to include and the content that was present in alpha 1. Giving an estimate would essentially be a lie that masses of idiots could use against them if they fail to meet it.

no if you buy lets say the pack that got the alpha 2 key then you get the mount pet and gear skin and in the future you can only buy those types of cosmetics

Also we dont know enough about all the archetypes and augments to really give an answer unfortunately. I dont believe you'll be able to fight unarmed so if its that type of monk you want, you're out of luck

I'd prefer an unarmed melee fighter with self-healing or high defense/debuffer. or some kind of martial artist. I did play a Quarterstaff Master monk in Wrath of the Righteous which was a slow burn. He did not get very good until the very end, then he was pretty strong.

Might have a quarterstaff looking one, closest you would get.
as for class, you would want a fighter primary archetype, with cleric, fighter or tank secondary (speculation). Tank for high defense, cleric for increased self healing, or fighter incase they already have those and you want to double down.
But again, we barely know anything about augments, so everything im saying can be right or wrong

Hello ladies and gentlemen, I've been reading up quite a lot about the game and tried finding out more about the combat system they wanna aim for (I know that a lot can change until release in however many years that might be) but I was curious if Steve or any other Intrepid Studios employee mentioned wether they plan on having combat that includes stuff like animation cancelling, weaving auto-attacks, slidecasting etc. (similar to combat in Aion if anyone can relate). Basically just things that make the game feel more fluid. In my opinion it creates a higher skill-ceiling for combat overall! Thanks for any info 🙂

often times developers will put a lot of effort into a security system and just give up when its broken
assuming your system will eventually be broken and being prepared to evolve to keep ahead of the attacks is the best strat there

regarding the cosmetics, one thing I'm always confused watching the streams is when Margaret shows the art which I think are monthly cosmetic packs that usually include costumes, mounts, etc. Are people getting those cosmetic packs in some kind of virtual bank when the game actually comes out, or how is that relevant to the monthly stream? I kind of feel like maybe those should be saved for a specific stream similar to the recent race reveal one they did. Also, for clarification I am not a backer, I am very interested in the project and design process so I do appreciate any part of the process, I just did not understand how and why some things are shared ea month.

They use these to also flesh out thev world with npcs, mobs, and other things
So it's showing what's being added in the game without really having to go into super detail into something they aren't ready to show

If that is an actual question and not just opinion, I suggest looking to the wiki for the various interviews and livestreams where they have outlined how their server technology handles load. It is not some monolithic single server handling the load.
