That probably means you don’t have the latest launcher. You should remove it and its local files, then get the current launcher from the website! Getting the instructions

@dim token they have ahead hiccups to say the least with development. They have apocalypse to test systems for the mmo. While they have created apoc, they have not stopped development on the mmo however. You can see this by simply all the assets they have created. Let me know if you have any questions I would love to help you understand. They are still making the mmo.

@mossy plume transports like the caravan can be destroyed and have to be built, with quality of materials effecting stats so there is some sink there. The money you get through the referral system can be used for subs but nothing with in game money as that falls in the P2W category. No idea about the PO box.

Understandable about the subs bit with p2w. Ive seen some mmo bring it in as a money sink for the economy and hekps players who cant afford subscription but either way.

no to both questions. currently the BR testing for action combat is the only testing. Castle Siege, Horde Mode and Alpha 1 are still sometime down the line but no dates have been given and won't be given until they know they can hit them.

Nope, stamina is the resource needed to melee. Mana is the resources needed to use ranged.

@charred walrus So, some general tips to not run out of stamina first then - Try to knock off some of the opponents armor with ranged weps before engaging in melle if you can, dodge opponents attacks when ya can, equipping replacement armor in combat is possible (preferably if you get a bit of distance), when you do run out of stamina try to get by on just moving so your stamina regens faster (or that's a good time for qvc abilities), switching to a ranged wep for a shot and then back could be an option

So I'm having difficulty changing my weapons. I have a one-handed mace, and I'm trying to change to a better weapon, like the average bow and arrow or sword. It won't let me switch from the mace to anything else. Is that normal, as in your first weapon is your only weapon of choice outside of the arena, or no?

So when I logged in today, as the game was patching it crashed with a security violation. Then when I tried restarting it crashes immediately, goes to the Unreal 4 Engine screen, and says "an unknown process has crashed." @willow hatch So with the security violation - I assume that was an Easy Anti-Cheat error? Do you have more exact wording on that? It can have a lot of different solutions depending, often those are something like EZAC doesn't like an RGB lights on ram/mice/etc or some bluetooth headsets or similiar things

@ornate ember Previous codes haven't had hard time limits, but had some 'Please use them by now' dates after which they were still working. Intrepid hasn't commented on when these keys should be used by yet. If you only plan to wait a few weeks your bigger problem might be some of the raffles wanting you to claim the codes within a certain amount of time if you win.
@crystal solstice 'Tracks' are a planned feature for rangers to be able to follow, I don't think snow footprints have been mentioned by the devs.

Whenever I start a match I'm hard stuck to the starting zone. I never see the landing phase and my camera isn't where my character really is.
It usually takes from 30 seconds to a minute to load in to the match, and to the br map, fully. But usually I'm just already dead
My character takes commands and moves in the br map as normal.
In my screen the character is still in the starting zone

@teal horizon I know I personally would have that problem if I didn't close all the other programs that I normally have running on my computer like discord and chrome from barely having the specs to run the game - APOC load times particularly seem to benefit from being installed onto an SSD instead of a traditional hard drive.

Hey guys - is there any information on Alpha 1 at all, I mean it's been years now and seeing them pump APOC is a little disgusting from a backers perspective. I'm sure others feel the same way. The lack of information on Alpha 1 commencement days even an approx ETA (which is currently blown out). I wouldn't think it would be too much to ask. We (backers) were happy to spend over $500 no issues. I personally just feel like it's a little poor form. @mossy plume, we don't know all of the artisan professions, but we do know some! last we heard, each profession will fall into 3 categories of either gathering, processing, or crafting. you will be able to pick 1 category and max out all crafts in it

Hello, i wanted to install apocalypse for the first time. After installment i was able to start and he was patching right away. By the way all the buttons seem a bit off, because i could only press them when the mousecursor was a bit right and upwards of the button. After finishing the patch he wants a restart. But when restarted he wants to patch again resulting in another restart. And so on and so on. ....

@spiral dust incorrect - we pushed a fix for earlier EAC errors, but some folks may still be seeing an issue when they go to patch, which is when we're having them open tickets so we can diagnose further and provide additional help 🙂

Regarding the failing patch, what worked for me was to do a clean reinstallation, and then run the APOCClient-Win64-Shipping exe file manually (the normal launcher still gave an error). That made it patch properly and now everything seems to work again. Also, make sure to delete all of the Intrepid/APOC related folders within the AppData folder before reinstalling the game

The exe mentioned should fix it. Also when uninstalling make sure to delete all of the folders, I missed one and it didn't work

after hitting play you will be placed into a que (the button should switch to "Cancel" and a timer appear) after enough people are found it will connect you to a lobby for staging before dropping you onto the map proper

@smoky igloo, also, if hitting play doesn't do what @slow meadow described, restart the client! it means your Apoc didn't start up properly

hey so, I have been playing the royale on and off for a while now. I logged in today and launcher wont let me play. It just says 'Patching Failed, Press OK to exit' a little confused at what is going on. Not using steam btw

Delete the APOC_Update folder located in %LocalAppData%
Delete the Intrepid-launcher folder located in %LocalAppData%\Programs\intrepid-launcher
Delete %APPDATA%\intrepid-launcher
Delete %ProgramFiles%\Intrepid Studios
Delete %ProgramData%\Intrepid Studios Launcher
Delete the folder where you installed the game (Main AoC Game folder)

Control panel uninstall wasn't enough for me, Clean install before the jahlon procedure was they key for me.
With control panel uninstall and jahlon procedure it downloaded 1,3gigs. With controlpanel+cleaning manually it downloaded 6,4gigs and now it works.

I was thinking I might need to uninstall and try the Steam download, but all I needed to do was double click the file in APOC\Binaries.
I dunno if trying from Steam makes any difference.

That screenshot you shared looks like you have a version from back in January/February, from prior to Early Access, unless I'm mistaken. The patcher no longer looks like that - you said you downloaded directly from our website about a week ago?

@crimson bone @simple ether Regarding XP I have data from about 250 EA solo matches that show time is definitely not the only factor for XP calculation. It looks more like placement is one main factor and time/kills others
It's an Excel sheet and I don't really know how I'd get that to you 😦
