Hi, also one question from me: I bought the beta access, and there are 2500 embers in this package. + I purchased 1000 embers from the game inside. It was not applied to account. I wrote to russian localizer, mail.ru where I bought it, and asked about it. They said embers will be applied later, but didn't gave concrete date. Its already since 1 week. Do I have to worry and write them again or do I need maybe to write directly on support of AoC on .com website ?

PVE servers will never make an appearance. The structure for the MMO is designated PVX. PvP anytime with restrictions. APOC will never be PVE, the whole point of a PVP BR is PVP.

You would need to be very close to your target to do significant damage - barely out of melee range

@dire hull As others mentioned before Intrepid has not announced any bulk discounts to subscription for multiple months subbed. There most likely won't be in my opinion though. Many countries like Australia have laws on the books now that require companies to refund unused portions of online subscriptions no matter when cancelled. So Intrepid offers a year discount that brings the price per month down to $9 a month/average as an example. Someone plays for a single month, then cancels their subscription and requests a refund that Intrepid has to honor by law. They got to play for $9 that month, and Intrepid has to pay the fees to transfer the unused balance back to them. Loss for the company with no real benefit of offering said discount. Will people stoop to such tactics? Sure, it is the internet.

Hey I've got a question: I really only enjoy games I can play with my friends. Not a lot of my friends want to spend time playing a game that is still im development (whack), and would rather play a more polished game. The one friend I coerced into downloading Ashes doesnt really play unless it's duos. Will you guys have a point soon where all modes are consistently playable? Is there a way to manually change your resolution? I have a weird "bug" where part of the buttons are wrongly mapped on my screen.
I'm pretty certain it has to do with the resolution. the problem is I cant reach the setting button because it's past the border of the window.

If you mean in game range of objects, then nope 🙂 . everything, from players, fences, tables, buildings or grass, everything is low res. Even in lobby. When i change it to high and restart the launcher, Lobby is kinda fixed, but when i join in game it goes back to low res.

It's a known issue with all games that use Easy Anti Cheat, including Fortnite etc.

It's never going to be fixed as RGB controllers are indeed hardware modifiers.

Simply disable your RGB/Lighting controller and you should be able to play just fine.

@flat fiber If your video settings are not showing up, follow these steps:
Make sure game is closed -> Open start menu, type RUN, type in %localappdata%, navigate to this: \AppData\Local\APOC\Saved\Config\WindowsClient
And then delete this: https://i.imgur.com/SKHwk3G.png (The game will auto generate a new one when you launch)

hi, im trying to play ashes in eyefinity windowed/borderless window mode using strix rx5700 xt card but i get 1fps stuttering on both settings, been playing with radeon global settings but cant seem to find a fix. i jsut upgraded from a r9 390x card which ran fine on the eyefinity triple screen setup in borderless window mode. the game does run on fullscreen in eyefinity mode but occasionally will bsod if i alt+tab (atikmdag.sys) . has any1 had this issue and knows a fix?

Make use of the "Default" button and try to reset your key bindings

Alternative way to fix this could be to go to close the game and navigate to

C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\APOC\Saved\SaveGames
and delete KeybindSettings.sav
Start the game again and see if it is fixed

In APOC dead is dead. In the mmo you only drop a % of gathered/processed resources depending on flagging state in OWPVP. The exception being random gear dropped/destroyed at high enough levels of corruption after ganking green players repeatedly.

It is a cosmetic skin that can be applied to a small accessory like a potion belt. It is the $5 cosmetic, those have mostly been rings and necklaces. Flavor piece if you want a particular look. They have spoken many times about the level of customization available on most worn pieces.

The potion belt will have stats. The skin you throw over it will not. The cosmetic would most likely skin over a single bottle on the belt, not the whole belt. Or it could also be for potions used in the potion launcher. We know for the mmo that they wont all be damage ones launched and may have other effects.

The base armor piece (which you can then customize) will take up a slot on the paperdoll. Those pieces will have stats. Otherwise no one would bother to equip it, since all equipment has weight.

Ok, going to go over this one more time. You have a belt slot. That base item will have stats. You can then customize it to your liking and the options available. Their is a utility belt that has been displayed on various models. You would take one of the potions from the base belt that is a color you dont like, and make it purple with the skin. It changes nothing of the stats but the appearance. It goes in the belt slot (which I guess is technically an accessory)

That normally shows up for me for a few seconds when I first log in, then it returns to normal. I'm assuming it's from a slow connection. I've had it get stuck for me before until I restarted and it fixed itself

I know I'm probably a little late, but I was one or at least just a few levels away from obsidian armor before they took the servers down for months. I aint trying to bitch here but I don't got time now to grind 50 more levels again. @serene sparrow That's a generic EasyAntiCheat error that occurs across several games. looking around a bit for error 30004 I see that most people suggest something along the lines of, restarting the comp, running steam as admin, and it should hopefully work. Most people with that error seem to get it sporadically, verifying the game files might help. You could try filling out a support ticket if none of that works.

Sorry to be blunt, but your game plan of "wait till something happens" isn't going to work considering numbers are dropping not gaining :/ If nothing is done to entice or string along players interest the game will simply dwindle till there is only games when a specific community/discord server is on or till there's no q's period :/

is this a known bug ? suddenly got into horse mode while dropping, movement was also restricted as if i was ona horse, A D was just turning camera and i couldnt steer ofc.

@last pollen So that's a generic EZAC error, it looks like recommended solutions are 1. Making sure your running Steam/APOC as an administrator and 2. You probably need to update drivers/visual C++

How do the pre-order packs work if you are already a backer? Is there a way get this month's skins with out buying a pack full of things I already have that are not said skins?

If you are a KS backer? Yes, you can buy skins separate

If you are a "Pack" backer? Then it depends

you can only see the skins on the level of pack you own as single hand purchases

so if you want skin from higher tier pack, you need to upgrade pack

@river vault Forum display names can be changed once every 30 days. I'm not exactly sure what you want to know with the second question. I think when they forum display name is changed it updates the users name on all of their previous posts, if you say had a screenshot of an old post, you could try looking up a users current name by searching for text from the post.

@wraith umbra If your video settings are not showing up, follow these steps:
Make sure game is closed -> Open start menu, type RUN, type in %localappdata%, navigate to this: \AppData\Local\APOC\Saved\Config\WindowsClient
And then delete this: https://i.imgur.com/SKHwk3G.png (The game will auto generate a new one when you launch)

why isnt meteor working towards tome quest, deal damage quests are alreadytough to do as it is,and we're dealing with these bugs on top of it. how do they expect to us get lvl 50 in a month if we cant even get the xp properly
