Second: This is more a brief list of some known problems specific to duos/squads than a list of whatever Intrepid is specifically fixing right now. - There are problems with partners occasionally being split up when joining games, problems with voice chat, problems with solo people not consistently properly receiving teammates when joining duos/squads even when there are people that they could have been matched with, problems with friends lists (I doubt that one would take duo maintenance unless it's connected to other problems), and some reports of things like solo queued players showing up in a duos game.

Since it was an early test client, you need to manually delete some leftover folders and do a clean install. So follow these steps to manually wipe the old files and download fresh from the website or steam:

Yes, this BR is the first phase of 3 for testing the modules of the MMORPG.

Try restarting the game. It works very well on 3440x1440. No reason to not work on 2560x1080. Unless it's dual monitors, which I have no experience of.
UI may be bugged the first time you set the resolution. I had a couple of problems with UI in 4K but fixed it completely with just a restart.

There is a story that Steven told a couple times where he was playing either Archeage or Lineage (I forget which, he didnt) where there was a bear that was an ultra rare drop. He was a whale in that game and spent a shitton of money to get the boxes or keys to open the boxes to get the bear. A week after he got the bear they put it on the store for anyone to buy. It depends on how many players are playing i think. There are times (during prime time of the day) where there are 60-man lobbies and other times there are 30-man lobbies.

@nimble blaze I've found it effective for someone using melee abilities like Bonesmasher and Lifebringer. Unless the attack deals damage, the ability isn't applied

Generally blocking the opening hit of a fight seems to be best. Pretty much no one blocks, which means no one holds onto their weapon abilities. It's a matter of using the ability right at the start of the fight.
Just eating that first hit and counter attacking with your ability can usually turn a fight into a guaranteed victory.

Usually once somebody starts swinging though they go all in with the combo at least, which gives you more time to dodge roll aside once you get a better feeling of the attack frames

I'm just imagining me blocking the first 2 hits, which takes my stamina as well. And then all that does is basically evenly stop the encounter except it puts them further into their attack combo which will make them do more damage

I feel like it's good if you're unprepared for a fight or have a worse weapon? Then you can block a bit and get out

In some cases you will be able to see accessories rings/necklaces/earrings
As well as be able to see what items a player has such as potions/scrolls/mats and so on
Not sure what this item will skin over exactly but its safe to say it might be a potion skin

I would assume that the stamina is worth not taking damage or having a debuff applied to you in the beginning of a fight
Slows fights down a bit, but it doesn't exactly help you too much unless you're good at predicting. I'd love to sit down and just test this stuff out but alas, no practice mode

Yeah I'd much rather use all my stamina to block a spirit piercer or bonemasher than risk dodge rolling and MAYBE getting out without getting hit.
Spirit piercer is guaranteed to destroy your stamina in the long term.
Hell even stillblade scares me.

They were announced formally being released. My friend and I were excited because we were sick of getting 4 v 2'd all the time and solos were no better because they just put you in squad matches anyway (by yourself). Not to mention the voice chat doesn't work. Duos were taken out after about 4 games and nothing was said anywhere about bringing them back
What was wrong with them before?
Also Solo matches don't "work right" either because as I mentioned before, they put you into squads in a party by yourself

Just a QoL improvement request for the control interface. Any chance we can have direction+mouse key combo pairs for the control key assignments ? Splitting block, roll, attack, target etc across many keys, just creates a finger gymnastics issue where you focus on control management instead of the combat. I would like the opportunity to minimalize, rationalise and simplify the control systems if you can. Thanks in advance. I know dual key logging and timing can be problematic with UE4.

But each jump takes 30 stamina (unless changed) so if you jump before hand you will only be able to do two.

@crimson bone Yes - You keep cosmetics from the original month, and only gain the new cosmetics from higher tiers than you already owned in the new month (without acquiring those individually).
For example, say you had the "Sootherroot Satchel" the cosmetic from the Wayfarer pack in August. If you upgraded to a pack in September you wouldn't receive the "Coil of Crackling Skies" which has the same slot in the Wayfarer pack but could receive say the "Guardian Nimbus" of the Expeditionary pack

@chrome lava Last time it was almost ready was just before they foud out that servers could not support that kind of load, they had to rebuild netcodes, and repair some problems with servers. Some had to be resolved as early access was started. Not advocating but for siege / horde u really need stable servers, and playerbase

@runic palm I think you're missing the point here. It's not that I'm unhappy that I need to pay for customization I don't care about. I'm unhappy that they added that in a testing phase game like doesn't make much sense that all the stuff you bought off this br game end up disappear when it turns into a mmorpg. I highly doubt that because it'll stay as a br game and that's what I believe most people are afraid of. That's what they're unhappy about, not the cash shop in general. It's much more than that.

Actually is was a tad under 3 million...everyone forgets that KS takes their cut off the top. Think it was 2.9 from KS. And Summer was neglible since only 1500 bought in during that. I am getting an annoying amount of audio crackling in game. What could be causing this?

your headset, your drivers, your computer, your audio port if its wired, the bluetooth connection if its bluetooth, the game itself (try restarting it), your audio settings. lots of things can cause it but nobody can say which it is except you

@crystal beacon It tracks the game as well. I don't have to deal with my.com so I don't know about EU. However, the launcher is baked into the game itself. So both launcher and game should be counted in the play time.

That's something for Intrepid to answer. I don't think we asked if it's a time limited exclusive. But in regards to the Emberstorm dragon skin, Steven said it might make a comeback at any time later.
The context was someone asked if the dragon skin could be "purchaseable" in the future.

Last I heard was "When they work right." which didn't really explain much. Plus Solos have never "worked right" for me since they just stick me into squad games alone.

@grand creek My only problem with the game minus the bugs is that I think the combat needs to be a bit cleaner, it's a big messy and clunky in my opinion
I've gotten killed by groups of people in literally every solo I've ever tried
I assumed it was just a bug that was putting me into squads

If you find people teaming in solo, make sure to capture vid, or screenshots. Then use !playerreport to fill out a ticket. Naming and shaming in Discord gets you nothing.

Hey, so when I get to AoC shop, I can't really see the Luminous package thing that's expiring. Not sure if it's just me, but the only content available is upgrading to Royalty, Leader of Men or Hero of the People, along with Coil of Crackling Skies, Shadowed Spire and a few more items.

Hmmm...dont know. SInce you can see the upgrades means you are logged in right. Have you scrolled down into the other addons, they are mixed in together with all the summer stuff on mine.
And if you are KS/Summer, you can buy them a la carte, you cant buy the actual package.

My Game is patching since 30 mins and it hast updated <1MB by a persistent download rate of 12MB what's wrong with my client?
already reinstalled the client but it's still abnormally slow
the initial update of 6GB took about 2hrs. Now the client wants to update 5MB and within 30 mins not even 1MB was updated

Steam,Origin,Battle.net everything works. Even the apoc client displays the constant 12MB download rate, but the data is updated by like 1kb/s

I thought initially that they reflected the item quality, but I've seen them vary across the same color.

How to perform a clean uninstall
Uninstall Intrepid studios launcher through your control panel.
Delete the APOC folder located in %LocalAppData%
(Can be found by typing it %localappdata% into the run box)
Delete the APOC_Update folder located in %LocalAppData%
Delete the Intrepid-launcher folder located in %LocalAppData%\Programs\intrepid-launcher
Delete %APPDATA%\intrepid-launcher
Delete %ProgramFiles%\Intrepid Studios
Delete %ProgramData%\Intrepid Studios Launcher
Delete the folder where you installed the game (Main AoC Game folder)
then u need the newest launcher from intrepid site

Main focus is server infrastructure, combat and all their backend architecture to make sure they can have 10k players on a server okay before moving on to the smaller objectives such as armour/weapons in the mmorpg

someone using dark pact in a storm for over 20 seconds is that gonna be fixed i think they had more then 1 and cycled them all?
i had two invisible cloaks yellow & a red i was able to switch from one to another and got instant cooldown duo invisibility so im assuming dark pact has the same affect. meh

@regal oak You can cycle dark pacts if you have multiple armors, I think that's why Intrepid moved it from complete storm invulnerability to storm damage reduction.
