Is there a way to fix crashing upon finding a game? I finally got the game to work after the latest patch and I can get into the lobby, but whenever I find a match, my game crashes. I guess it's the same log that most of you got, but I can't seem to find a fix online.
A fix that might seem plausible is related to uninstalling the game, but I have already done that multiple times and I don't feel like going through that again. I hope I can still fix it before we're unable to get the dragon anymore.
Another possibility is that my pc isn't strong enough for the game, but I already lowered my settings to the lowest possible.

I have played this game for a while and am fairly good. I can win pretty much every game i play if i try. The grenade launcher is very unbalanced currently
I've thought about the weapon for a while and it's meant to be an area denial device. I think they should lower the damage to 30-40 and make fire on the ground that does 10-20 dmg a second to those who stand in it
60 damage is insane right now and you can basically win any fight by continuously dodge rolling backwards while firing at someone trying to thrust strike directly at you. This weapon may be good in the mmo where the map is big but when zones get small in APOC it becomes incredibly over powered

You've got this all wrong. You're assuming that the people who are getting shot at are bad if they can't dodge. What you aren't realizing, is someone who is good with the grenade launcher shooting at someone good will easily win the fight. You're probably vsing less skilled people using the grenade launcher. If you fought someone like me while i'm weapon switching you, dodge rolling and blinking while using the launcher, i promise you wouldn't stand a chance

there is not much of a point, since this is only a test server all stats would just be deleted once they carry over to the mmo eventually (possibly keep this br mode in it if the numbers are right, they arent 100% sure on this though so dont quote me) , only thing i know they are doing is leaderboards? maybe that could tie into what you are wanting?

10 USD for Season 1 compendium, which will unlock the legendary path.

Ok just to keep you all updated, I tried replicating two bugs I ran into but couldn't. One happened after a match that every time I tried to apply a change to my character the sound would go away and after exiting/opening the game it fixed it. The second bug occurred when I tried loading into the prematch area and it was just stuck on the loading screen. Had to ALT+F4 and then CTRL+ALT+DEL and end the process. This is using the steam version of the game.

Why are there no duos and why do I get thrown into squads even when I select solos. It's a bit discouraging to play when I am grossly outnumbered in every fight unless I can find 3 friends to try the game with me. It doesn't help that the voice chat doesn't work either so I can't plan or coordinate things with the random matchmaking players either.

@valid glen To reach lvl 7 you need 91,000 XP. If you have the Legendary Path unlocked you can reach 91,000 XP by just doing the weekly quest (easy to do). Without you can reach 56,000 XP. You should be able to do it still

HEADS UP! Anyone who experiences ERROR:35 and is using the game client through Steam, try to just verify the integrity of the game files by right clicking "Ashes of Creation" in your Steam Library, then go to "Local Files" and select "Verify Integrity of Game Files". This quickly fixed my issue without having to manually delete any folders or reinstall the game. Hopefully this helps you too if you encounter ERROR:35 ... Good luck! :D

@grim breach Steven uses OCE/SEA interchangeably for what he sees as the same region of the world. The server they have set up is located in Singapore currently. Which does the people from OZ no favors (also the most vocal).

Hosting it in SEA can connect to more players including SEA, some parts of Asia like TW, HK, JP can connect to SEA servers at a reasonable latency and of course, OCE as well. Still, OCE is somewhat further away from SEA compared to TW/HK/JP are from SEA.

Indeed, but how routing of internet traffic goes, those in some of those countries can expect better latency still to NA. I am in Japan and connection to Singapore is actually higher than NA. If falls right in the middle of EU and NA for me. Most likely will be the same for OZ people since their packets will get routed across the Pacific to the Americas, then back across to South East Asia.

That makes sense, I have heard that some parts of Asia do get lower latency to NA than SEA. I'm from SEA so NA is no go. EU is fine. I think some of the OCE players did say the SG server last time gave them around 400ms latency.

Thank you! I think the biggest issue for my fellow guildies, are that they are skeptical to unreleased games selling stuff that they can't really offer at this point. We don't have an MMO at this point, and I guess they are worried that it'll become more of a cash grab once they actually have the MMO.

Extended to 10 am pdt on Wednesday. Lvl 7 is doable if you have the Adventure Pass for the 3 extra quests. If not you would have to play around 50 matches.

To do a double or triple jump it’s just space bar right? Cause I played my first match and when I tried I couldn’t double or triple jump, am I missing something?

It seems to me that Steam launcher only asked me to login just once.
Intrepid's launcher asks me to login every time. I like the Steam's launcher more. I know there's security risks but is this a bug or a feature?
Apparently, I actually never did log in with the new launcher from Steam.
I played during December and August for a little bit.
Did the clean install thing as well, maybe missed something because the game logged me in straight away.
