hold right click with a melee weapon then left click. if you are looking up and not at a player it will do the acrobatic jumps. you can do about 3 in succession. to deploy your griffon after getting to a certain height you can hit B. @bright geode

Hm, two days ago there was a widespread problem with patching failed - I think the immediate solution was using the steam client instead of website version - longer term plan would probably be wait for Intrepid to do something about fixing the website client

So I am very concerned and my friends are upset. We purchased the Quarrier pet being told that items purchased would be exclusive. In the latest livestream they said that the quarrier pets would be tamable and able to be had on your freehold. Almost everything with the exception of world bosses and some named mobs will be tamable, and many of those will be cross-breedable with other mobs. The cosmetics in the store are that one particular shade/color/configuration. You do NOT get to own the only quarriors in game, you will not have the only horses in game. You will have the only ones of that particular color if purchased.

I deleted all steam files relative to AOC:A
Just uninstalled the "game" from steam
Then reinstalled via the official website
It gives you the option of a steam installation, or launcher installation
Chose the luancher, download the files
Then repair
Since doing that I can now lose games to my hearts content
However this may not be a perminant solution and I dont know if its worked for anyone else.
From what I can gather My.com has trouble gaining and recording account information
As the launcher itself worked, however the logins do not.

Make sure game is closed -> Open start menu, type RUN, type in %localappdata%, navigate to this: \AppData\Local\APOC\Saved\Config\WindowsClient

I backed and played through all the alpha and beta of Rift. It was the moost smooth alpha I have every played in a mmporg, and the beta was like full release. minimal downtime, no login issues, just awesome. That was late 2010. Here we are 9 years later and the alpha (early access) is awful.

Yeah, it's a shame. The guild I joined was all yeah awesome at the start but all we get atm is pictures of otters and horses while we want to hear about progress, systems being worked on, difficulties overcome while working on the mmorpg. Surely putting us in a green box and having us fight ai or each other with a few basic service npcs would make a lot of people happier.
Adding more systems to that dev "playground" would show people things are being worked on much more than an uninteresting BR

a friend of mine just downloaded the game via steam, and created an account on ashesofcreation.com now he started the game on steam but can't login. When he presses enter or clicks sign in, the password disappears, but he doesn't get logged in and there is no message describing what happened. We are on EU btw :)

@acoustic hull If your video settings are not showing up, follow these steps:
Make sure game is closed
Open start menu, type RUN, type in %localappdata%, navigate to this: \AppData\Local\APOC\Saved\Config\WindowsClient
And then delete this: https://i.imgur.com/SKHwk3G.png
(The game will auto generate a new one when you launch)

@crystal beacon You gain skills depending on what weapon and armor you pick up. Example: Lifebringer gives you lifesteal ability when successfully hitting an enemy. The catfall boots allows you to jump at great heights and suffer no fall damage. A invisibility Chestpiece makes you invis. Theres a lot of skills to explore depending what gear you pick up

So I could patch and upon restarting it says UE4 crashes. Deleted and redownloaded from the site(again) and installed. Upon launching just defaults to UE4 crashing. Anyone know the issue?
