Hello everyone, I backed Ashes quite some time ago with the $500 usd pack because I very much wanted to be part of the testing for the game.
This was a long time before the BR was even spoken about with the community and I believe its spearheaded what I initially backed.
So my question is; How do I go about getting my money back for backing this game as I firmly believe its gone in a direction that was not stated when I initially decided to back it.
I believed all development was going into an mmo game and not being split into a BR.

@hollow torrent i think someone mentioned that u can ask for refund on official site, tho for your information, this is not the MMO itself, they made APOC as testingbed for MMO so they can root out all net and backend failures before they launch game itself. many things (enviroment , weapons, costumes etc.) will be used in game , so it is not really separate dev.

@lament schooner It seems like they do not have a logout system yet for you to change accounts with. The best way to play on your other account would be to use the web client instead at this time. I believe that in the my.com settings there is a way t link your intrepid account but I am not sure how you would do that.

Also, the biggest glitch rn which i've already posted online is when you use the miasma bow and zoom all the way in with left click and then change weapons before shooting. If you do this, everytime you use the bow afterwards it makes you all the way zoomed in even if you just hit right click. So make sure you fire the bow lol

Intrepid has heat maps of where accounts are created from. They will add regional translations that are profitable. That My.com is an established EU publisher, but doesnt offer Spanish is telling.

Sooo I am able to login to the website fine, but I can't login to the launcher... I even reset my password through the launcher "Forgot Password" It changed on the website because I could login with the new password, but I still get "login failed" on the launcher. Help anyone?

Is the my.com version supposed to be working now? Game isnt starting for me if I click play in the client, just disappears after the anti cheat software loaded. When I try to start it manually with the .exe I get a patching failed check logs error, but its starting at least

but even to get it to start i needed to start by the executable inside Steamapps, as an administrator, to be able to be told that i need to patch the game, and that i can download the client at a URL showing up in that menu. which you manually have to type in on the browser

the game shows some potential though, but the graphics were blurry even on 1440p Epic settings. they have a lot to work on, especially if it is going to launch as an epic mmo of the scale the kickstarter video speaks about.

in the sense that it is not comparable to a title like COD or BF in terms of fidelity, but i didn't try the settings very much, it is the basic unreal engine settings though. for our resolution, motion blur and AA should be turned of, and all kinds of AA should preferably be turned off

@calm ravine I had the launcher directly from the website downloaded, which wouldn't let me login. So I uninstalled it, then re-downloaded from Steam. Then I was able to login. Oh and I reset my password on the website before I downloaded the Steam launcher. (Not sure if resetting it affects the outcome).

We have no dates on MMORPG alphas and betas at the moment.
The MMORPG will have pvp and raiding and pve. At the moment you can play APOC battle royale free.
They're using it to test stuff for the mmorpg, then comes castle siege and horde which will be more MMORPG themed.
For now though no matter what you buy you can only play the BR at the moment @main moon

(new player) I'm having trouble at the character screen. My mouse seems to have an offset that is about 30% further to the right than the cursor shows. Thus I can't touch anything that from about 20% from the right edge of the screen. Is this a known issue, and is there a fix?

Most of us would also just love to play since we only have a weekend to get the Dragon.

But everytime I try to fix something, I make it worse. First I got stuck in a loading screen that freezes. I uninstalled the game and tried the steam version to get the problem screenshotted above. Uninstalled it again and downloaded the version from their website to get a message that the version I have is outdate. I can't find the solution.
But I believe that It's going to be fine in the end.
