After the login it scans the files, then it says patching complete and restarts when i click on OK
and then the same thing happens over and over again forever, how do i make it stop?

@hidden crane the steps from the image didn't work at all, but a friend came up with a great Idea to search for "%localappdata%\APOC_Updater" instead of "%localappdata%\apoc" (which i didn't even have at all) and deleting that fixed the issue.

@lethal horizon Known issue atm, workaround involves swapping screen resolutions, pressing ALT+Enter to force windowed and alternatively, setting the folders in %appdata% and unchecking the read-only box in them. Some have even said clean re-installing with this method worked for them:

Yeah, my graphic settings are just completely gone. I don't even have the option to reset them to default. So my game is forever choppy and unplayable until theres a patch or I reinstall but. That seems pretty annoying.

My.com are currently working on the steam issue. You can play using My.games Gamecenter or the Intrepid Launcher but only on US server at the moment as EU is under maintenance

That error is caused when you try installing a new version with remnants of an old version still installed - Most likely your %appdata% wasn't cleared out.

If it helps anyone, my uninstall was really easy with typing Win + R and then typing in %appdata%. Then, delete anything with Intrepid or APOC and repeat this with %localappdata%.
