Roughly 250-300 which is subject to change as they go through development.

However if you hit those high numbers, you'll be sacrificing numerous guild buffs to get those as you basically allocate points to increase the guild cap.

Cause I remember someone mentioned the idea of spies, but if I want to put alts in a guild, I wasn't sure if that would affect the cap. I know TERA has you join by character, but if you already have one in a guild, another of your alts would not affect the guild count, but you also were able to conduct espionage.

Also, Shin, any class can use any weapon. However, you’re not guaranteed to be effective with it. We don’t know which classes will be good with which weapons. And the closest confirmed thing to rifles currently are potion launchers

Does anyone know whether they have said anything with regards to how many character slots we will have per account? And whether we will perhaps be able to buy additional character slots for one account? It would be interesting to know for people with a lifetime subscription. I asked the first question in two separate livestreams, but didn't get an answer even though some questions asked after I asked mine were answered 🤔

There are technically 8 x 8 classes and 9 races so a lot of combinations are possible 🤔

That would still mean we need 72 slots for every combination. I think WoW only has something like 50 character slots.

So obviously the MMO genre is kinda stale right now which got me thinking about ashes with minor concerns. Maybe ive just missed the threads with this info but do we know anything about ashes PvE other than certain nodes will provoke unique NPCs and quest lines? What im trying to say is what will the PvE look like leveling up? Will the PvE content resemble something like Black desert (that is kind of stale in my opinion) where we basically are given the abilities to straight up own the PvE world at level 1 taking on mobs of 20+ single handedly or will it resemble something more difficult similar to that of WoW Classic? In which we can only take on 1-2 mobs at a time at most and anything more requiring a small group? Obviously the combat mechanics are going to slightly resemble BDO more than WoW but what im trying to get at here is simply the "difficulty" of the PvE environment.

@lean merlin Hey there, whether My.com publishes AoC on steam or not for EU will depend on My.com and the agreement between them and Intrepid Studios. We'll have to wait and see whether they decide to do so or not. However in the past IS has stated that they did not have plans for the MMORPG to be on steam.

I looked myself and at the moment I don't believe there are recovery codes you can access from your profile, but if you ever have issues with your 2FA in the meantime, you can certainly open a support ticket. But yes, it's something we want to make available on your profile down the line so you can grab those yourself!

From our own customer service I can tell, it's quiet a hassel to tackle those "avoidable" support tickets, if it could be easier with the backup codes.
Once we had those backup codes in place, it went down quiet much, even though not completely, becuase of cause there are always people who don't write the backup codes down.
Can't wait to see that added (hopefully before releaes 😉 )

Some of my more speculative I don't recall if quite confirmed includes on the list - Summoner pet skins, emotes, furniture appearances, character customization options (like hairstyles), mount bardings. - There's probably quite a bit more I haven't listed, it's easier to just say nothing P2W that adds player power or saves time (unless you count looking good as winning, but the cosmetics earned in game are supposed to be of equitable quality) -- Embers are earnable in APOC - Prices are probably meant to be comparable to the pre-order packs of most things being 5-25$ for limited quantity/time items.

Makes the primary skills stronger if i recall correctly, secondary archetypes normally tweak the primary archetype skills visual appearance in some way but unsure about changes when choosing the primary as a secondary.

i remember i saw an example for warrior charge. lets say you take the mage secondary so your charge will be a blink that lets you teleport even over obstacles or you take the rogue secondary your charge will be smth like charge mixed with stealth

pretty much secondary class is augmentation of your main class abilities at least from what i understand

imagine if you take secondary archer on a warrior and you shoot yourself from a bow on a charge ability

Hey has there been any clarification about node wars in the sense if your a mayor of a tier 3 city which is a vassal to a tier 4 city. Could a tier 2 city declare war on you even if it’s the vassal of a neighboring tier 3 city if that tier 3 city is also vassal of the same tier 4 city. As it’s stated that vassals can not declare war on there parent node or their vassals. But I am curious if that extends all the way down the vassal tree. Or just offers coverage to the immediate group of vassals.

I mean it was an example as if I recall correctly there are 6 stages of cites so it’s possible to go a few down a tier 3 village can be the third vassal down of a metropolis

A small village closer to the center of a metros zoi might have trouble waging war except through alliances or just advancing. As it would be stuck because it’s surrounded by allies and potentially to far in for outside forces to attack . This is assuming metros zoi are supremely massive though

Yes that is also possible it’s also why there is not a particular reason to be worried atm without more details on world map layout and even then might not be a problem depending on where metros spring up. But I am hoping that particular situation isn’t too frequent as that might feel really awful depending on the goals of the village

Generally when upgrading you get the higher packs value if it is the same stuff. otherwise it would be very easy to exploit and get lots more embers and gametime

Allright, so I got a suggestion for the undead extension or something similar. It's just a concept I've come up with, but I think it would be interesting.

Steven said that the corrupt players are viewed as monsters and that's exactly how the undead are viewed in mmorpgs. Plus about the whole APOC thing, people got rejected from a portal and fall back to Verra and straight up murder each other to "win". Seems pretty undead'ish to me

So when a corrupt player gets more corruption, he gradually becomes less "human" and he loses stats as he's dying.

so at a certain point they will be able to "sacrifice themselves" or something of that sort (I really have no idea), but they will turn undead (here I thought of another customization screen where you change your character into undead but I think that will be too hard to make.).

Then you will be always flagged, yet you will get bonus stats (with a twist). It can be anything of course but I just want to share my thoughts.

Oh and yes, the corruption confuses the living and makes them kill each other, for greed. That's how undead are, they love killing others and enjoy it a bit too much ^^'

Undead gameplay will be significantly different from the "average" gameplay of course, but I actually haven't thought on that too much

I'll probably comeback with a more in depth look into the undead corruption

Didn't they say you were gonna be able to hover above the ground with the flying mounts? My take is that for some reason the gliding mounts are too fat and they can't fly up so they just stay lower. So you will be flying but not in the same sense as in real life.

Right now all stages of development are suspended while they work on the networking backend problems they encountered in previous test. Does that mean that they are not working on the game? No. Just that they have nothing for the community to do but wait. They also realized that giving deadlines then not making them only enrages the base, so they stopped giving dates for anything unless completely sure and verified.

I always thought that it could be so cool to walk inside a city and hear people speaking to each other in different language, immersion would be incredible (no idea how crazy it is to make it from a tecnical standpoint tho)

@left heath, originally, it was a test phase. People got mad about a BR for a test phase, so Intrepid started marketing Apoc (including BR, Siege, and Horde) as a stand-alone product. That got people even madder, so now it’s somewhere in between as a “test mode”
