We really need to wait for the upcoming Creative Directors Letter. The Letter will include the updated projections for testing in the next 3 or 4 months. And that is about as far ahead as the devs plan to share.
After the info the devs learned from the Apoc testing Dec 18-25, all testing dates will most likely be pushed back at least a month or two.

We know that you are able to rent a stall and sell your goods.
Will this be a auto sale where you set the price and if they agree they buy it without any convo. Seller can set a stall and go AFK for hours without getting logged out. Example: Flyff

In regards to headstart servers being separate from normal ones. Wouldn't that create a divide where players wouldn't wanna join the headstart servers because they've been touched already? Kinda wish it didn't exist at all because of this fear.

except the headstart servers won't have nodes enabled
so they wouldn't be touched really, just a group of people with slightly higher level than others, that would even out after a day or two

That is a good way of preventing dislike. Hopefully people don't stray from the headstart servers just because of labels. I could see it still being a problem though. I'd have the resources necessary to claim land quicker than others right. Maybe I could be in a region farther from start with some buds and claim those early houses in a level 1 node right when they are enabled. Or just be closer to getting the materials for a house/freehold then others

yes that's about it, they would get further. but if you know where to go and you start running, they would only be a couple of hours of travel distance and a few levels higher than you
it takes days to advance a node to a usable point anyway, so they won't have an advantage in getting a freehold or anything because they started 2 days earlier

Well, I've been watching Ashes of Creation for some time now. I finally purchased the 75$ version of the game and plan on "upgrading" if possible in the future, but it states that I have Beta 2 access and I'm assuming based on the website that currently I dont have access to the game because it is still in alpha and that no information has yet to be released on dates of release for beta 2?

Yes, the client was only showing "Update" red button, and whenever I click it, it downloads the whole thing again. -- I tried deleting the appdata folders and reinstall the client and run as administator, but nothing worked. I have to delete the main game folder in ProgramFilesX64 and start over again to download every single patch.
No answer from Intrepid still, I hope a mod would let me know if they already aware of it or report it to the devs.

For example, Intrepid has talked about having a separate currency related to guilds / related to bidding for control of an economic node. There will be no corruption implications if you are marked as PvP which can be manually toggled on/off or automatically turned on if you fight back
It has been said that you will not be able to be one shot (keep in mind that if you will loose more resources etc if you are a non-combatant than being flagged for PvP)

1: If you hit back, non of the attackers will gain Corruption. Whether all three gain Corruption probably depends on whether all three hit the non-combatant or whether all three are in a group.
2: If someone is so much higher than another that they can one-shot - which seems possible it's Level 50 v Level 1 - the attacker would gain many, many levels of Corruption. And would probably be fairly useless for many hours thereafter.
The victim just suffers the normal death penalty - no different than being killed by a mob.

that's referring to the APOC BR mode. Which currently only has a buggy voice chat and no other way to communicate with someone in your party if they don't have a mic.
The MMO will have many of the traditional chats, however there won't be a world chat, chat will be regionalized and localized.

Correct Jahlon, Ember credits will not be added to KS / SS backers. The value tiers were weighted accordingly between current packages and backer options so no retro adjustments needed to be made 😃

@quartz coral BR, Castle Siege and Horde Mode (Ashes of Creation Apocalypse) are used to test critical features of the MMO such as action combat, server stability, hitboxes etc. I wouldn't call it a PTS as they are all different game modes but they all help the development of the MMO.

the whole apocalypse, including the BR, is a small portion of the MMO put into 3 different game modes so that they can test the core features of the MMO. Alpha 2 can still be used as a PTS (tho never heard of it) but as i said, it is about 10 months ahead if their targets are met so can't really comment on that one

Obviously parties + guilds play a large role in the mmo genre and are unavoidable. Though was wondering if there would be any content that can be completed whilst playing solo, and if it is possible for a single person to cause a significant amount of change and progress at a decent rate without missing out on too much.

Some of it comes down to the possibility that people trying to merge accounts are doing rmt type stuff, they have to take the time to make sure you're all legit, and also their website has to be fully functioning. Which also takes time. Nows probably the worst time to be impatient.

it's not a matter of where you're logging in - it's a matter of what you're using to receive your 2FA code. you should be going to an app like Google Authenticator vs. expecting to receive a text/email with the code, I believe

2FA is never just a static password - it always changes (regardless of its implementation) for security purposes. and yes, some other places allow you to send 2FA codes to your cell phone or email. duly noted on your point regarding adding something to the "enter code" page to make it more clear if you happen to forget what 2FA is - do you have examples from other sites you use that you like? if so, feel free to send 'em my way!

@small imp from past recommendations give it 24 hours after your first log-in to see your past purchases. If you don't see them after the wait drop a support ticket because the new website intigration is a WiP and might have missed certian users.

The embers are not "free", they are part of the compensation for the cost. KS/Summer backers received a perceived much higher value for their "investment" How embers and their allotment due to a possible sub amount has not been clarified in the future down the line for lifetime subscription owners.

As an added bonus, any package with A1 access (BoW and above for KS/Summer) gets the season pass for APOC for free for lifetime. There is the possibility as it currently stands to receive up to 950 embers by participating in APOC (first BR awards). Still awaiting clarification that there will be similar options to earn "free" embers in the mmo.
