i didn't get an answer. i got "you use the wrong control style" lol. that's not an answer. that's a cop out and defense of garbage key mapping coding. there's a huge difference. if every other studio can figure out how to make any key useable (and they all do) then so can intrepid. trying to trash talk what keys i prefer to use just to defend their shortcomings is hilarious.

can't bind mouse keys that are bound to keystrokes either. you can bind the keystroke on the KB, but when you push the mouse key in game nothing happens.
it's not a macro or any other weird thing. it's basic logitech mapping of a mouse key to a keystroke.
the game only recognizes mouse1, mouse2 and middle.

There was a message last night that account recovery would take 24-48 hours to implement. Just spamming trying to make new accounts is only going to screw you up further. Wait till they fix those issues. Remember, there is no bad data, even your failures help them improve function.

If a bunch of people are closing the game and starting back in it because they're trying to refresh, it could very much effect the login servers.

asking for an answer to a question is not complaining. why the hell would any dev disable the numlock key and all 17 keys on the numpad? if they offer the option to change keybinds then why arbitrarily limit the keys to which you can bind the functions? it makes no sense. also in the DEFAULT key mapping the arrow keys ARE bound to movement for all you jackasses trying to be funny and saying nobody uses them. evidently the devs understand this to be untrue. the issue is that disabling the numpad keys puts TWO sets of arrow keys an inch from each other, which is just redundant, as i said before. they obviously know that people use arrow keys to move. just wondering why the rest of the keys in the area are effectively rendered useless.
it's not complaining, nor is it a weird question lol. there's no logical reason for it... i'm just asking if there's a way to change the setting lol.

Tbh it should have been ironed out for the beta release, i've played alot of early access games that are buggy and glitchy on the release date, but they actually work and you are able to play them, why they chose to migrate websites the day of said release is beyond my comprehension, if alpha was working then why change it. Log into website first, with launcher closed. It may take several attempts on the site but keep trying. Same thing happened to me. Once you get in on the website then reopen the launcher and you should be all set. The servers are down now.

@digital palm There will be no first person. They have answered this a couple times and it comes down to them having to add a whole nother level of animation, basically doubling their workload. People will be able to change the colors of their abilities, either through found rewards, cosmetic store purchases, and secondary class augments. Confirmed long ago when one of the Kickstarter rewards is an exclusive set of FX. They have said by launch that people will have all the regular accessability option for color blindness and so on.

Don't be like every other person in this server who can't read to save their life. The accounts are being migrated over, and they're making sure all of our purchases are intact, it will just take some time, so be patient. Make a new account to play, until the next day or two, when you can have your old account back

I couldn't find anywhere references to new rules for user names and was extremely pissed of they didn't send an email explaining to everyone who had a .com account that the interprid account rules have changed. I guess I see it as courtesy. I'm pissed off at the fact I need to go through a news channel in a discord channel when i feel it easily could have been communicated to me via email.

@frozen vapor the APOC settings should be mainly working - a lot of trouble have issues with resolution settings (windowed mode will work around fine for most people) atm or categories disappearing (that can mainly be fixed with restarting)

Launching the game from the intrepid folder will only load the Client side data. It will not work correctly and you won't be able to queue for games.

The game currently needs approximately 17,7GB of storage.
When downloading the game, it is normal for the updates to get stuck at 96.35%. Just give it more time, and it will resume automatically.
If your patcher got a bit excited, try closing all of the intrepid tasks or restarting your pc. It's an error when having multiple intrepid tasks opened at the same time.
If you can not log in, please make sure that:
- You are using the account that you use for the ashes of creation website.
- You are logging in with the username (all lower case)
It has also helped other users to log in on the website before trying to log in on the launcher. Please keep in mind to use your username with all lowercase, when you log into the launcher.
If that still has not helped, please be patient as they are still migrating data from the old website to the new website. If your issues still persist in 24 to 48 hours, they will create a recovery option.
Keep in mind that Referrals; account info (in terms of purchases) and the forums are still being migrated. This means that they currently do not fully function. This will be solved once the migration is ready.
If you get: "There was an issue with your account claim," error on login, the current workaround is to use lowercase letters.
Make sure that when you have gotten a verification mail that it comes from: Intrepid Studios communitydev@intrepidstudios.com It is signed as "The Mailgunners".

The discord is constantly telling me I have a notification in server status, I've been in the channel multiple times but each time I move channels I get told there is a notification in ss. Is anyone else experiencing this on the discord?

@crystal beacon They're down in order for Intrepid to perform patching and maintenance. They've been taking them down after days of testing in order to improve the experience for everyone. After this cycle of test/patch reaches an acceptable version of the game, the servers will stay on persistently. For now, we're working with Intrepid and testing during the hours they turn the servers on.

This is the status of ashes testing right now servers stay up as long as they are stable. But are brought down whenever unstable to assess and fix before bringing a fixed build online. Please be patient as they are a new studio and they are learning a lot from everything they do
