I believe it depends how densly populated a certain area is, since settlements (especially developed ones) have heaps of players sometimes, when players log out there, and try to log back in they can oftentimes be met with queues then. So if you were to logout in an area with a small population of players, you might then not have a queue instead, if that makes sense 😄

So the higher level bags like apprentice etc do give more slots with more rarity, so something to bare in mind, i just dont think the simple rucksack does.

Its tough to say really buddy, you could save the absolute best stuff for when you are a higher level. And use your greens and blues for now. It all depends on how much matt's you have and how much you think you'll be farming moving forward. Just remember its just the test so will be wiped at some stage try not to obsess to much over "doing the right thing" ... not that you are but just something to bare in mind. If you fancy making a heroic apprenticeship mining satchel, just bloody do it haha.

The more you do and test now, the better the wipe will be when game fully releases, as we dont really tend to make the same silly mistake twice haha

If you press "p" and go to tailoring, you will see the recipes there. The apprentice bags are unlocked at apprentice etc etc. And once made, you need that level in the gathering skill to equip it. So reach level ten tailoring- make apprentice fishing bag (for example) then when youre level ten fishing you can wear it

Correct, mostly, I think. But press "p" and just have a good look and read through. You do get some standard weapons ans armour etc under weapon smithing etc but yes some recipes also drop. But for bags etc yes its more of a level thing

Not sure what you're asking. I am assuming you want to have ALT, Shift and CTRL combinations a sticky. Don't think that is possible. If you tie ALT+5 to a channel skill, you will have to stay holding Alt+5. From my testing.

Short answer Yes for both. When it comes to armor and weapon, I believe the Quality (not rarity) is enhanced. For instance, using Heroic Copper Shard and everything else Common, the finished product will come out Common with a higher Quality. This higher Quality isn't OP to be frank. For instance, it may just increase the Phy Power or Phy Def by like 1-4.

You need to find a smithy's building with the correct required smithy level - Apprentice > Journeyman > Master > Grandmaster depending on which item you want to craft

If you open the map and click on the Settlement the interface will give you list of which buildings the settlement has in place and what level of artisan they are at. Check that the recipe for example is a journeyman level recipe and that the smithy building is at journeyman, then you can use the smithy

Hey, welcome to Ashes Early Access! I don't think there is a thing such as a "recommended leveling route" really, a lot of things if not most grand experience in the game. Currently I think the most experience is gained by leveling or grinding in a group, but you could also do quests (of which there are relatively few still) or do stuff like gathering and crafting it all grants experience! You could also level solo, just killing mobs, it is really up to you what you make out of it. Some zones offer greater rewards than others, I'm sure there is some recommendations on youtube, reddit and such. If you need any more guidance for a specific level range feel free to ask!

Best way would be to study the market and find your niche. Hard way would be gathering wolf/grem carcasses. Easy way would be aoe killing mobs lvl 7-9 for glint and vendor it. RNG way is gathering trying to get lucky with epic/legendary mats and sell them.

Im hoping to get some clarity on Node Leveling interaction. If there is a race to promote 2 nodes to settlement and one wins, does the other lose the % they gained or is it just halted until the winner can clearly be 1 level ahead of the other. Does the loser still gain % up to 100, but not convert to the next level until the parent node is again 1 level ahead? Clearing game cache is in the launcher settings aka the cog. You'll have to look for your eac folder and click the install button again. Once again this isn't guaranteed to work but it has for some people

Report it, and take screenshots whenever you can. You will hear the usual defence of it as it´s ( pvp ) but it´s fully not. You are being targeted by others to be killed by their actions while youy enjoy the game as you want to. Their actions disrupts your gameplay, so report it when it happens and never try talking to the people doing it to have them stop. These people love making others upset or angry..so dont try and fix whats unfixable.

As far as i know, crafting will be where the most powerful items come from, but right now in the test there are a lot of issues and bugs, so don´t expect to keep what you make now for the full release.

Crafting is based on several items you combine, so you will need to quest and gather as well as make items as well, or pay someone to craft for you etc. It´s balanced well enough right now so you can test both sides as they demand just about equal amount of time.

@sage beacon Not sure what the cargo slots are on the Caravel (think that's the right spelling), but even fully upgraded is slower than the Corsair fishing boat at stock. I know the Corsair you can swap out the fish boxes for cargo boxes to hold more crates, but there's enough room on that boat to hold many people & their mules

Not a bad guess, but off by a year from their statements. The archetype audit is meant to start soon, and augments/class/level increase is meant for the milestone after that. That said, all dates when given by Intrepid are at best aspirational. Hunting was meant to be Q1 this year, but has been pushed for other issues. So your Q1 27 may end up being the reality, but not what has been communicated so far.

Anything over 9 levels above a mob = no loot. The max xp you can gain from a mob is the xp you would gain from a mob that is +9 levels from you. From our testing, if you're with someone over 9 levels than you, you still get xp but it may be less, but when we tested and we had 2 players over 9 levels the lower player, they got zero xp. Us higher levels still got xp.

There isn't really an overall "best" profession for mages, since every class can use every armor and weapon
You can either plan to craft for money, or plan to craft for gear for your characters

Find the weaponsmith or metalworker, check the Master for recipes for a sword one, buy it, it is like what? 40 copper coins or something like that? Learn it, and then check what you need. Start gathering the materials.

Alchemists turn the glands into scorpion venom then you use the scorpion venom for like a couple grilled dishes iirc

Yes, I know, but none of the recipes are good, half of them are bugged and don't give you the stat they're supposed to, and nobody's selling the food so it seems weird that the price has gone up so high

One justification is that the broodlings have been outclasses but a lot of mounts. So people aren't taming the broodlings as much. I know I got a metric f ton of the venoms farming broodlings.

Is there any upgrade on the Corsair that can affect the Ship Speed?
I have not found anything and there was a group yesterday that pretty easy catched our Boat very fast.
