Bonus bank space as far as I know, also settlement bonuses. Just be mindful full cities are more expensive.

Professions can make those but that can get costly (though worth it in the long run in some ways), players can sell them on markets. Make sure to shop around.

Most mounts are gonna be on the slower side so don't worry about it until you have gold to burn. That said, from players probably.

Auction is usually located near the middle of the major cities though it varies. People buy things for more than the vendor does so it's how you make a lot of money. Also how you procure stuff the vendor won't sell you.

Depends on the item. Stuff like profession goods and a lot of armor/weapons should go onto the market, glint and imo most lower level gear you can just vendor because the movability of most of it is gonna be really low on account of accessibility.

You wont get corrupted from picking up someones loot. You will just flag up for pvp. You only go corrupt if you last hit someone who is not pvp flagged. If you die when corrupted you drop some of your equipped gear

The way they have the servers set up is that they slice them up into server workers. The queue is based on the server worker you log out/dc in. So busy areas like towns will have the queue. Pgup let's you see what server worker that is and you try and avoid them like the plague.

There are two paths. One is verify the files and see if that works. If not, code 5 errors are conflict errors. In most cases that is antivirus conflicting. If you have McAfee remove it. (infamous for blocking Ashes) and Avast, turn it off. Any other game that use BattleEye may block Ashes too, since EAC hates BattleEye and vice versa.

It has to do with how their servers are split up into server workers. the queues are by three individual server workers therefore busy places like cities get long queues while everywhere else nada. My advice is to use pgup to figure out which server workers are busy and never log out in them. If you get dcd there then just take it as a sign from the universe to do housework/chores or watch a movie while you wait lol. They have stated they are working on making this less of a problem

Pgup is you best friend to figuring out where to avoid queues. It shows the server worker and you just leave the busy ones to log out. They know it's an issue and are working on making it better.

this is one of the main issues the devs are working on right now.

it won't let you in until the server pop is below a certain number, so in this case in the settlement.
if servers have a cap of 300, and there are 400 players there in game, until 100 leave you won't be joining in, so it makes sense.

and that number can also increase, there might be more players moving in the settlement than leaving, so it's not strictly going down.
there is 1 person waiting ahead of you, but it might take you until peak time is over to get in.

the only solution is to not log out in populated areas while they fix this.

yeah, if it showed the real number then it'd probably be going up rather than down
it can't even really be called a queue because people who are in the game have priority over the ones who don't, and when they walk into a settlement they don't have to wait, but your queue would increase by 1.

you probably won't be able to get in until they either fix this, or you wait for your region's the peak hours to end.
(or make a new character, the starting zones don't have queues right now)

That's what I run. The book will bounce to multiple targets which can cause accidental aggro which sucks as a healer. Remember to always have your melee weapons filled too because they are stat sticks. As for what melee have her look at the skill trees and see what she prefers. I'm one of the weird ones that likes spell swords with a shield. But literally just tell her to have fun with it because it's an alpha and as long as the stats are there and you get the mana recovery part of the skill trees you are fine for healing lol

Is there any page with updated guides? It is quite surprising how little qualitative content is out there about Ashes. I am trying to figure out which gear for early 20s tank and everything is outdated or recommend endgame gear which is not even possible to get at this point. One would expect that basic stuff like gearing or build guides will be quite standard thing.

I can tell you just what I see on my server. Heroic quality wood and metals (stone is in general cheaper) is like 10-20 silver and Epic is like 25-35. Take it as rough estimate tho. Sometimes you can sell it more expensive if there is lack of it in some city/area, but of course cheaper you put it, higher chance you will sell it quickly.

It compares nothing to WoW. As Ary said, instancing will account for 20% of planned content, none of it will give "the best stuff" and your progression will be long as compared to WoW. There are no "safe zones" beyond hanging out in your house. No fast travel, though there are some mechanics planned for "faster" travel. Very little hand holding telling you where to go and what to do next. You choose what you like. No /lfg or /lfr queues to pair you with randoms so that you can afk and get free loot. The list goes on. If you are thinking you are getting WoW, you are not going to be happy.

Yes, you had asked about WoW comparisions. In WoW everyone gets a "hearthstone" that depending on various factors will have around a 15 minute or longer cooldown. They can "bind" their stone to their favorite location and free teleport to it as they like. That is one thing that will not be making an appearance here from years of development statements as it would remove the purpose and core pillar of their design that moving resources from place to place have risk v reward.

If you have McAfee as antivirus, remove it. If you use Avast, make sure it is fully disabled. Go back into Steam and verify files again. All that jazz. Good luck. If not, you probably going to have to file a CS ticket, and those are backed up in thequeue for the moment.

do construction packs matter how far they have travelled when you turn them in? i see a new spot in town with construction up, before i don't think there were and i only got 10c on turn in. Will this give script for turn in now?

Commissions crates have a chance to give 2-5, but buy orders give a whole lot. They're at the requisition agent near the storage of any village or town settlement

certs you can get from commision board but its like 20% best way is doing town buy orders. Should be next to the storage person

what are buy orders? do ineed to deliver the stuff to the npc?

They're requests created by the mayor you can complete by speaking to the requisition agent of any settlement lvl 3+ (village or town). They're near the storage clerks along the building
