If we have forced pvp toggled off as a cleric we shouldnt be able to get tagged meaning if a member in your party gets tagged find a way to not get the cleric tagged into pvp “before you say just dont heal them” hots exist and it screws us, also easy fix if the cleric or others that support has forced pvp toggled off and someone else does and they get tagged into pvp the target wouldnt be able to get healed if the cleric or support aspects have forced pvp toggled off. The queue is location based, if/when you get in, you can try moving your character to a less populated area to be able to log in easier. Pressing PageUp will show what server worker (SW) you are connected to, which may be helpful.

The queue didn’t move for 15 minutes, so I figured it was bugged and relogged. Instantly slammed to the back of the queue, down 100 places. Seriously, they need a 3-minute grace period for relogging—disconnects, crashes, or even just checking alts shouldn’t punish you like this.

It took me 7 times to load in due to shaders. I did not have this issue when you guys used your own launcher but Steam was a horrible choice. After this patch I thought it was fixed and I still loading shaders then porting back to Character Select when they take to long to load in. On 32gb Ram and 5080 gpu. So, sometimes the bot doesn't like your link. Exit Steam, exit Intrepid site. Reload both, unlink. Exit both, restart, link. Wait 10 min. No tags, do it again this time using a browser with incognito mode. Most have had success with Chrome. Good luck. @rain yoke yes. My buddy is trying to get the game to play. He played last night with it on his hard drive (C). It played but not great. Today he reinstalled it onto his SSD drive.

The game will now launch, let him choose realm. Sometimes even load into the game, but it’s like a solo world. No players, all bugged out.

When he gets to charachter screen, it halfway loads his charachter animation.

Sometimes the play button says “unable to play”

Sometimes it lets him hit play, but then just stays on a black screen. No crash, no errors. Not able to play.

It's because of the issue on their end. Everything is fine on the steam side till you get to their launcher. All 1448 files on steam verify fine. Nothing can be done for a lot of people on this issue until the devs unfuck the problems on their end. Steam isn't the problem though unfortunately. It's an issue on their end. If it was from steam, you'd have issues as soon as you launch the game. It come from their client side on their launcher they feel they need to have for some reason.

Crates are subject to diminishing returns based on how many of the same type of crate have been taken to the same location.

Unfortunately the pricing screen does not reflect the diminishing returns unless you have the crate equipped and interact with the NPC beside the station you crafted the crate at, as if you were going to sell it for the least amount of money possible. (This should update the pricing window). Hopefully the UI will be adjusted in the future to show current diminished return prices (maybe post in #1365494991509782558 and add a comment about that!)

You can counter the lower prices by crafting higher quality crates using higher quality crate certificates + higher quality materials (or try sportsfishing)

they confused me as well the first time.
#1 - talk to the paper on a stick near the npcs, and also talk to the NPC's themselves.
#2 - look for the outhouse building near the NPC's to the north, it should have a sparkly on it (if not, just wait a min, someone else might have just been there). Press "F" and interact with the othouse and "clean" it.
#3 - go outside the village to the NE, look for bodies on the ground, collect 3, bring them back into the town, and place them on the small firepit looking thing near npc's (a little hard to see, but just try anything that looks like what I described)

@fair hazel crafting is a large part of the game, but I wouldn't say you need to touch it (unless you include processing and gathering in that). If you find sufficient ways to make gold in the game, you can for the most part just buy anything that you would craft

I guess my gripe comes from the cycle

Gathering mats takes time, which is normal and fine

then there's certain mats and kits you have to buy

then you get charged a tax, then you have to pay to use a station

then you have to wait for the station to complete

and at the end of it, there's nothing interesting or unique out of your craft, it's just another item and it took all that time

So far, I've had fun doing other things in the game, just wished there was a more streamlined way to go about crafting, something that's a bit more intuitive and involved in the actual process

I have faith that enough players are going to provide feedback on this that it will convince the Dev Team to change the system for the better (or at the very least give us more info before crafting the crates)

@gritty moat hard to answer market related questions, because market prices differ from settlement to settlement, and server to server, and they are also subject to supply and demand outside that (not to mention undercutting, etc). I think the only way you can find out for sure in your market is trial and error, and see for yourself what sells. One thing I can tell you is if you are selling materials, try to sell ones used in current buy orders, they will sell like hotcakes

If you are having issues without a VPN, but no issues WITH a VPN, it really sounds like packet loss along the route from your modem/router to intrepids servers.

Any class can use any weapon, you can use both a melee and a ranged weapon set.
The best weapons to use are the ones that have your core stats on them, physical damage, strength, dexterity, etc
The stats of your ranged weapon apply to your character even when you're using the melee weapon at the time.
To figure out if a one-hand plus offhand is better than a two-hand, you have to add the values of the one hand and offhand together and compare it to the two hand

Losing the citizen storage could be a visual bug, relog your character, press n when you log back in, check your citizen status.
If it shows you are a citizen it's the visual bug, your storage should be restored as well as all the items after relog
If it shows you are not a citizen then you may be correct that there's another issue

Shol is consistently the highest pop server in all alphas, which causes server workers to crash and be overworked as result of high population. Key word search "Shol" in the discord and forums to read the numerous daily issues.

1. raise your citizen rep so you can purchase uncommon comoddity certificates for your crates
2. farm uncommon rocks to make uncommon crates (which sell for more then 30 s you just got)
3. You need to farm more rocks, so move away from town to good rock farming spots

Glad you resolved your issue G, sorry it took you a day. That's the known fix for that issue, as posted by the mods #questions message

Also not a AOC issue, it's a McAfee issue (you should really google reviews for that antivirus, it's junk - bloatware)

indirectly ... because the higher your skill level, the better gathering tools you can equip, the greater your chance of collecting higher quality resources

Long shot, but you could try a few things to try troubleshoot:
Validate steam files
try to log in from another device if possible (laptop, steamdeck, friend's pc, etc)
do a clean uninstall/reinstall (may remove cache files associated with that character that got corrupted?)

If the computer is rebooting, most likely it is bluescreening. The Event Viewer will show you. Most of the time it is an outdated driver. It does not have to be the GPU driver.

The game was running so good and no DC or freeze or stutter or anything. Now after the latest update I can't even play the game, get in freeze 15sec , move 2sec, freeze 40sec , etc etc until I alt + f4 and try that again and again and again.
