If you're the only guy of your friends rubber-banding, you might want to ensure your Windows Firewall is off... all the way off, since apparently there are "advanced settings" in Windows around firewalls.

I helped a friend work thru the rubber-banding thing (he has Fiber, and the only connection issue was with the game).

Another thing he and another friiend did is to use a VPN.

Apparently they say that worked.

I'm assuming net neutrality is decimated or outright ignored by now, which could explain why the VPN works (in a roundabout-but-still-accurate way).

If you want that, then go where it is not very busy. Server stability is pretty complex in what they are trying to do with the Seamless world. Finding Zone lines is tough, hell I don't even know the nomenclature behind what they are doing, plus it's all on the LATEST release of Unreal 5 Engine. That's suicide for stability but great for development. Don't expect any kind of stability really until they at least freeze thier version of the Engine.

The world is huge. There are plenty of undeveloped towns that are Empty all the time. Go and play in that Zone and level them up. Ex. New Aela in Shol is pretty empty and a town. Then south of that are areas close to establishing a town.

XP Scrolls are key. A Ruby = a Novice scroll. 5/6/8/10/12/15 They last for 2 hours. There are crafting ones too.. Or the 5 minute Comission ones. People sell them all the time too.

when a node hits village it vassals one node nearby, when it hits town it vassals 2 or 3 more cant remember the exact number, when Shol joeva hit lvl 3 it vassaled halcyon, when it hit lvl 4 node and became town it vassaled new aela and windansea also. so if the whole vassal issue / xp bug didnt hit towns New aela would be stuck at village, the fact its a town now is just due to a bug and devs not reverting it.

so if it didnt bug out even more people would be flocking to joeva causing more lag etc

It won't. You'll be wasting your time. I dealt with this from last Saturday's debacle. Took them about 3 or 4 days to fix the anti cheat on their side. Steam verification won't fix the issue or reinstalling the game.
If you have the error 5 anti chest issue, you'll have to wait till they fix it to play. Nothing you will do will fix the issue.

It's an issue on their end. Their launcher that opens up after steam is the problem. Until they fix the anti cheat on their end, most who have this issue won't be able to play. Some have success by reinstalling the game but that has never worked for me.

Yes, there is a transmog system planned for game. Eventually. Since they are still implementing their full body and mount cosmetic testing with just a partial list released, and there is an account bound entitlement system that has to be added, I would guess you won't see transmog anytime soon, and possibly as an option after "live launch." There is a difference between the cosmetics from Kickstarter/pack sales/ingame earned and how a separate transmog system for individual pieces has been described.
