If you don’t already own AoC then it won’t show up there. If you’re buying it from steam, the process is to buy from steam -> download and install -> click play -> the launcher will appear -> click link account in the launcher. It should pop up then as an option for you

If it something you got out of the boxes from the destinies, some of them are just bugged and cannot be repaired. You are not missing anything. The scepter is very commonly bugged.

Yea plenty of people getting that right now. Servers are struggling. There’s been a “fix” reported, which you need to fully terminate the game application and launcher (restart your pc if you aren’t sure haha). Then it apparently lets you play again. nothing has changed on my PC since it moved to steam. I have 1688gb of space on the current drive so uncompression shouldn't be an issue. The full game downloaded and installed faster in comparison, but every update has been a slog to install, not download.

best way to lvl after 8-10 is mob grinding elites in a group.
quests are very limited right now.

on top of that you also get xp from professions and pvp.
you could craft exp scrolls pretty easily that will speed things up.

Well there are already towns in the south in my server and everyone is going there now. My friend keeps telling me about how he can sell stuff on the marketplace and is getting rich by crafting, while I am trying to find wolves to tame in the north with a bunch of crates ready to ship. - Also getting a constant "You earn 0 exp for your settlement" is frustrating to read.
