Hunting, tanning, leatherworking are the toughest because there's just not enough huntables. If you aren't aware, there are different areas where huntables share spawns with normal enemies, so you have to kill the enemies to get the huntable to spawn

The bar won't change, but if the profession says apprentice above it, then it is upgraded. If that's not the case, sometimes relogging can help. Wait at least 15 seconds before logging in, and recommend doing it away from populated area

They help build nodes, they can earn lots of money, and earn node currency. It depends on what type of crate you run and how far you run them. You can technically transfer more materials around the world with normal crates but that hasn't really been necessary yet.

Well, let me correct myself a little. Its not necessarily the graphics that are bad, its more the assets feel old, same with character design - if you have done character design in Baldurs gate... AOF feels underwhelming. It feel like you have a 2025 graphics engine running assets designed for 2014. So the game feels like when Warcraft 3 remastered came out in terms of graphics, neither a wow factor nor terrible. However, just like GTA3 - graphics clearly isn't everything, and they might make changes before final release 🤘

There were loads of server issues and crashing not too long ago. There are little quests in the game (Questing is only really a thing up until ~8-10 and the rest of the leveling is just grouping up and mob farming). One of the starting zones isn't polished (To be fair it does warn you). Professions are very grindy and IMO don't really see a valuable RoI for time spent unless you're in a big guild (You're almost better off just grinding for gold/gear AND level up at the same time). PvP isn't really a thing unless you're super low level or max (people accidently flagging themselves because they're learning or people in lawless zones). You also can't pick two archetypes yet which IMO is kind of a big selling point of the game's class system. Player collision in cities is aids.

The combat is better than new world and the group pvp is cool. Gear upgrades feel really good. No flying mounts for 99% of the players makes the world feel more alive. The Talent trees feel good for most of the classes. Spell animations are cool. Roles feel really impactful on your group. Clearly a lot of work to be done but it feels like it has a good foundation and it's been fun playing the different classes and exploring the world.

Launcher logs show:

The error happens immediately during Steam authentication (before queue/login).

Things I have already tried:

• Verified game files
• Disabled Steam Overlay
• Removed Steam Cloud saves

• DNS flush + network power cycle
• Ran sfc /scannow until no errors were found
• Ensured Cryptographic Services and WMI are running

there's probably some sort of priority for important people to bypass the queue, but I don't think your friend has it.
there a queue per server worker, so if he logged out in a less popular zone, he might not have a queue

I use them for settlement buy orders and town boards now. Initially I just vendor as storage is limited. As time goes on you will just drop them while gathering specific items. Granite and Basalt mining have a huge combination of mats and the bags will never be big enough to hoard them all

There is some conflict with your hardware/software and the game then. I've heard many people having issues launching the game, getting into the game, performance when in the game. It's not just a you issue.

I'd suggest a customer support ticket. Submit it with your full PC specs via the Windows System Information window. Not sure that includes GPU though so make sure to mention that too. You can black out personal info on that page (PC Name) if you want.

@viscid wing doing this will also wipe the nvidia cache of textures so you will reload textures again when you play again.. this seems to be something that can cause that stutter issue. Gear drops are pretty random with regards to what you get. You have increased drop rate when a mob is within 3 levels of your level. You can try to wait for a drop or just spend a couple hours gathering materials for someone to craft a decent weapon for you - or farm glint and buy one off a populated marketplace

Best XP farm will always be joining a group and grinding mobs. You get decent glint by doing that too tbh. I’m not sure what the recommended money making method is at level 9. Currently they are linked to character. Any character created will get your cosmetics that are entitled sent in game mail. Anything you bought on the store, had from previous offerings, or gain through promotional means is account bound. You should be able to see it when logged into your main account on the website. In the future, they will NOT be character awarded, but instead will reside on your account and each cosmetic will be able to assigned to a character once. As in, if you have a costume you want to wear on one character, you put it on that character. When done, take it off that character, put it back on the account, and assign it to another. You will not be using the same costume on all characters at the same time. Hope this was clear.

Make sure to follow all the steps in #read-me-first If you have already linked your Discord, go to your account settings on main account and link it again as sometimes it is buggy due to volume and the bot misses it and other. If a couple tries at that don't work try using a different browser when you link or incognito mode. The actual cooldown has varied in testing to 12 hours, to a day, now it is that. I can tell you from conversations had here in the past that eventually the goal is to have it match the intended cooldown of leaving citizenship of around two weeks. The guild swapping to make new squads to enter into guild combat to boost a "roster" swaps on the daily a la New World is not meant to be a thing. Your decisions will have weight and many of the mechanics planned for guild activities like castles sieges are going to have those loopholes closed.

Hello friends, I have a question for you. I like this type of game. Honestly, from the gameplay I’ve seen on YouTube of ashes of creation, it looks really cool. I wanted to ask those of you who have experience playing it — is it worth buying or not?
