1. at lvl 10

2. You need to level those professions to lvl 10 (apprentice) and 20 (Journyman). Then, you go to a supervisor near the workbench of the profession you want to upgrade. Depending on your server, some towns may have them or not. The crafting villages will. Talk to them, and upgrade.

NOte: You are limited in how many you can upgrade. 5 can be apprentice, of those, 4 can be Journyman, 3 can be master, 2 can be grand master.

Thats why people have crafting alts. So their main can be the gatherer.

3. Sell your glint early on. You can right click and stack it up more efficiently. Sell it to vendors. Sell your mats to vendors that are green or grey.

They tried removing drops to a very low chance in phase 3 and it did not go over well whatsoever most of the gear you get early game is very basic from drops and such anything crafted can come out a much better quality so it just depends on your materials and time investment

I have a big question about the Rupture (Fighter) skill. In my opinion, it doesn't work correctly, or rather, it doesn't work as described.
According to the description, he:
Deal 50% physical damage and apply a debuff to the target. While the debuff is active, the target acquires 1 Wounded stack per second while moving.
After 5 second, the target takes another 150% physical damage, plus 10% additional damage for each stuck of Wounded it has, up to a maximum total 300% physical damage.
On the initial hit, if target is Bleeding, 1 stack is consumed and the target becomes Hemorraging

!!!! But the target takes damage after 3 seconds, not 5. And not 150%, but much less. The 300% damage for injuries also doesn't work.

yes, several times. evertime i log out it goes away again but shows up randomly. Completely restarted the client as well. A message pops up "your guild is not at war" and the tag re-appears and i can see the guild menu, despite not seeing it when the tag goes away. it was a random guild invite from a guy i thought was a friend request or something didn't realize it also locked me out for 5 days from joining and is a forever contract due to this bug lol.

I just realized that upgrading my weapon doesn’t actually improve my summon at all. It seems the only way it gets stronger is by leveling up.

This makes summons feel really weak compared to other archetypes where gear progression directly matters. Am I missing some hidden scaling, or is this just how summoners work right now?

You want to have keys that are closest to WASD key bound. The easiest keys to hit for you should have your most used skills. That’s the gist of it for most people.

My setup is I have 1-5, Q, E, R, F, V, C, X, Z and then Shift+all of those bound

You will run into conflicts when setting that up with stuff like Guard and Dodge, so find new keys for those.

You can attack anyone by force flagging on them. There are certain exceptions where it will not work. If they are under one of the 4 affiliations, like group member, raid, friends list, or guild. Or if they are under 10 and still have their pvp protection enabled. After that feel free to gank away. But realize, if you kill them without them fighting back, the penalites to you are severe enough that most don't bother atm.

I also have a SSD from WD and also did have the same problem with updates on steam. Really really slow and always showing 100% SSD performance.

The fix I found was in the WD Dashboard in the Performance tab, turn off the Windows Write Cache. The moment I did this every update on Steam went through really quickly.

Step 2 I'd try: it should give you a file location with code 5, delete the subfolder named in the error and then verify integrity of game files.

1. Why do people who started in Anvil hate it so much? Why can't you reach the point where the zone isn't ready and it's better to go south?

2. What's wrong with this map? Where's the balance between the zones, or the idea behind it? What kind of haphazardly cobbled-together chaos is this?

3. What genius worked on the hunting? 30 hours in Anvil and two encounters with animals for hunting (rams aren't included; they're broken). It's fine for taming animals, but hunting like this is terrible.

1. Anvils was the second one developed of the two "starter" areas and only was released in October. Like many things, Intrepid is trying to hit deadlines put on them by contractual obligations, so they release stuff before it is ready. If you want a more developed experience, you start in the Riverlands. 2. As part of that rush to release the area, they just threw random mob generation out there to give people something to do. This resulted in what were previously massive spawns of killer birds that became a meme. There was little content and poi development to it. So until they do those content passes, expect it to be like any new zone they put out. 3. Hunting and animal husbandry are WIP placeholder systems that in very little ways resemble what Intrepid plans. So no real reason to spend even more time developing on a system they plan to replace fully later in this phase. As Anvils hasn't gotten real content passes, they have very few areas that it applies to. And a bonus 4: It is a game in development and a true early access, there are going to be many things you don't like before they get to where they need to go. If you are pissed off, walk away and come back later. I do all the time when they irk the shit of me. But I always seem to end up back here. Or don't. Request refund and forget this title. Maybe in the future it will be finished and you can come back and marvel at the progress and it will be "fresh and new" for you.

the experience for new players is pretty confusing and overwhelming. i've got no idea where i started, anvil rings a bell. but none of it was actually explained as you were clicking through the character creation. i've got no idea what the Backgrounds was all about, and how it affects your character. the town I picked, no idea what it means for my game play. Yes, they are working on the FTUE (first time user experience). Backgrounds is what your "racials" will eventually be. They are also just in the CC as a placeholder right now and give no benefit whatsoever beyond the RP. There is/will be very little hand holding here if you are looking for a streamlined experience a la themepark mmo. It is more sandbox atm because that is the fastest and easiest content to put out, and they are adding more curated content in dribs and drabs as they race to fix game breaking issues with background systems like queues, linking, and a host of other issues that have higher priority. No reason to worry about the sun blinding everyone twice a day/night cycle if no one can log in. Early access has been perverted by Steam into people buying mostly complete games that never finish out development. This one is truly "early access"
