Need=you need this item, it's an upgrade/you can really use it. Greed=you'll take it to sell or something but you do not really need it. Pass=you don't even want to sell.

That depends on what other people pick. Every player rolls a number and the highest number wins. If everyone rolls greed it's an equal chance. If one person rolls need they always get it. If a couple people roll need it's between the ones who rolled need. Need > greed

The roll happens automatically when you click need or greed. You cannot see the exact results but it will tell in the chat who won the roll. I don't know if manual rolling works in this game, so if you say /roll in WoW for instance you see the number.

Ikr, we had the website the first day that we could log into steam to link. I got to the steam login, and then their stuff went down, waited 2 days now and the connecting steam thingie is not there. Hi everyone, I’m having serious performance and crashing issues and I’m hoping someone can help.

My problem is related to rendering, freezing, and the game completely closing.

The game will not open in medium or higher resolution. I can only launch it if everything is set to low, with all presets at the minimum.

Even then, when I enter cities or crowded areas with many players, the game freezes and then closes. After that, I have to reopen the game again.

Here are my PC specs:

CPU: Ryzen 7 5700

GPU: RX 6700 XT

RAM: 32 GB

Storage: 1 TB SSD

This hardware should easily handle the game, so I’m not sure what’s causing this behavior.

If anyone has experienced something similar or has any suggestions (settings, drivers, fixes, etc.), I’d really appreciate the help. Thanks in advance!

hey I don't know if this will help or not but do you have the game installed on a separate drive from the OS? And your paging files, you can try to set up some page file to the SSD drive. Or remove page file from the system all together and just pull from the ram, freeing up the SSD to handle only loading of texture files etc to the gpu and hardware ram. Just a thought. Other thoughts would be to reinstall your video card driver and optimize any settings it comes with for it as best you can. And of course in the game set it to the lowest video setting and then work your way up to high and ultra.

Question: I'm trying to use 2h mace on my Cleric, but the damage is about half of that of my sceptor per hit, and swings 3x slower. I assume it's because my STR is low. So how do I get higher STR? Hey everyone, I have a question and I’m running into a bit of a problem.
Are the main story quests mandatory? Are they the best way to level up?

Because of the lag, it’s sometimes really hard to follow the quests or even find the mobs they ask for — they just don’t spawn. I go to the marked location and there’s nothing there, no mobs, no NPCs, nothing.

That’s why I was wondering if it’s viable to level up mainly through crafting professions, grinding mobs, and maybe doing dungeons instead.

Right now, doing quests has been pretty frustrating due to these issues, and it’s making the game hard to enjoy. I really want to experience the game properly and explore as much of the content as possible.

I logged into the game and my character was bugged in the middle of the city. The scenery was not loading at all, and my character was literally FLYING in a blue, empty environment.

I used the “unstuck” option with the intention of FIXING the bug.

However, my character ended up dying, took durability damage on the equipment, and lost experience.

It is unacceptable that a game which has been in development for so many years still has such bizarre bugs.

Am I the only one that when I alt+tab or open the game. The game has a LOT of trouble opening in the regular resolution and/or opening on the right screen ? When I created my character, I chose the main quest on the "wisdom" path. I was doing the missions with some difficulty but without any problems. However, something serious just happened to my character. The last mission I did was to pick up a box and carry it on my back to another place and deliver it there. After that, I spoke to the NPC next to me to receive the reward.

And after speaking to him, and I believe he gave me my reward, he is also not giving me any other missions.

Those are tickets you get for helping build towns via turning in construction crates, & doing mayoral quests/commissions. The mayor commissions are different from the standard commission board and are only by the mayors building as a bigger board.

You can only if there is a construction crate built in the town, most towns freshly built (and only a lv 3+ settlement will have one built eventually) will not have a construction house built up. So the construction crates in riverlands is built by carpentry table at Aven's End, and dunno bout Anvils

its not a fully fleshed out game. tis a true production alpha therefore they want you to find all the bugs and report them while stress testing the servers. you can do quests and level and there is a single end game raid you can do but its up to you if you think thats worth the money. watch a stream (not necissarily one of the huge streamers) and see if its something you can handle

You won't be looking to dungeons at this level, and keep in mind even dungeons are open world grinding content. Every place will have its spots, depending on where you started, you will have certain options close to you. It's a knowledge game pretty much. You know what to do, you're flying. But if you're adventuring yourself for the first time, will be a bit rough finding good spots. I suggest searching for youtube videos or something with good places to level up.

You can repair gear from any (I think any) vendors. Check the bottom left of their shop window. You should see a little hammer.
