the main story and all of the rest of the quests and 70% of the content of the game dont exist yet. this is an alpha. its not even a Beta yet. those games that people always talk about beta testing? this has LESS in it than those games do. its a test of the engine and systems. id say only 30% of the "quests" and story actually are in the game. EDIT: the only way to put it on steam and therefore get more people to play than just a website was for steam to call it "early access"

You just need to keep collecting the things you can collect. So like the big patches of yellow and white flowers (hard to find in a busy area) along with the tall purple flax ones. Then you have to get it to level 10 if I’m not mistaken to be able to level it up. To level it up-you have to do all of that then go to someone standing by the table or something. (Just info from what I’ve gathered from talking to the certification npcs)

Intrepid usually does big updates every 3 months, they'll probably do daily updates for a while to deal with some of the worst EA bugs, they'll probably do small updates at least weekly if their old pace holds (I don't know if they'll want to change steam version less often or something).

There are quests after level 5, but your generally not going to level after where you are by going quest to quest. Tasks from the commision boards are repeatable quests, nodese have higher level commision board tasks than the nodes do. There are some quests in nodes / hidden around the world. In general mob grinding is the most 'efficent' way to level, but you can level from events that can be spotted on the map. professions, or tasks.

Anyone keep freezing and having to end task and reopen every few mins? Its not the zone I tried both chars in both starting zones. Yesterday I ran a hour or so before a crash. I don't believe it's disc space.. I had that a couple times back then with RDR2 with my AMD graphics card. After a little while (and possibly another graphics card driver update and/or Windows update) it solved itself.
If you open your task manager and click Performance tab, you can See GPU 0 and GPU 1, check which is the graphics card, and if that's an option in the in-game settings: select that one as your source. Some games give you the option and some don't. The ones that give you the option are usually on auto, and then you can manually change it to GPU 0 or 1, whichever your card is using. My AMD card is GPU 0.

after like 6 server restarts and two website crashes its safe to say i waited 4 years for nothing this is terribly optimized so much so to the point where the game wont even boot passed the "play" button...loads me into the server all for me to get stuck at a loading screen then it goes black as the music continues playing in background leaving me stuck there until i either 1. shut the game down completely and it does the same thing as i boot it again or 2. i try to boot it using various different methods all for me to end up with again a black screen or the game just freezes constantly until it just stops working giving a "Connection to the Realm timed out".

This was an easy choice. Finally got to play after 2 days straight of issues and the game genuinely feels like it was released in 2015. Absolutely horrible optimization for a game that has terribly dated graphics. Clunkiest movement I’ve felt in any recent MMO I could go on and on. there are dungeons in the game but they are just in the open world, not instanced and it would be good to have healer, dps and tank to play effectively.
Quests and grinding both work, would advise to do quests to not lose your mind from too much grinding.
Also very important: do the destiny stuff. Its very good for beginners to get free starting gear by just doing some basic tasks

Is it normal that the queue to enter the game now shows low numbers like 40 or 50, but each position decrease (for example, from 41 to 40) literally takes 20 to 30 minutes or more? It feels like it’s still the old queue of 1000 people, but instead of counting one by one, it’s counting in larger chunks while taking the same absurd amount of time.

Yesterday I waited for 2 hours. I started at position 50 in the queue and after two hours I had only reached position 11.

Is this normal behavior, or is it still a problem with the game’s login system?
