Yes, some areas are supposed to have queues, but people were STUCK in the queue. This is fixing that.

i open the game from the launcher pretty fast,it loads, i select the Pelune realm, and i arrive at char selection, this all works very smooth and fast.
I then select a char, hit play, it shows on screen "looking for a server" , then it goes black, music going in the background, but game is likely frozen, last time i waited 10 minuts and eventually the music stopped, i still couldnt access the game.

Try this. This is how Ive always installed my drivers.

Download AMD cleanup Utility as well as the Full Dowload file (800-900mb) for your gpu drivers and also the most recent chipset drivers for you motherboard (download them from amds website)

Disconnect your ethernet and disable wifi, you will leave your PC disconnected from the internet for this entire process.

Launch AMD cleanup utility, it will reboot you into safe mode. Let it do its thing. Restart your PC once it is finished.

Once your PC has rebooted you will not have any gpu drivers and your resolution will be stretched. No worries. Install the GPU drivers you just downloaded. Then install the Chipset drivers. Once the drivers are done installing restart your PC. You can now reconnect to the internet.

The server (Lyneth) appeared to go down while I was in the middle of creating the character, before I could complete it. I’d prefer not to start over. Check antivirus and firewall to see if they are blocking. You may need to have them mark it as safe. Or maybe windows or drivers not up to date. Equipped weapon type does not affect the main class skill tree if this is what you’re asking

They are separate and you’ll have a skill tree for each weapon, the weapon skill tree determines the finishers on your weapon, so essentially yes you could go a wand with a rouge but the stats on the weapon equipped are added into your total character stats so you might want to find a weapon that fits your build

Thanks for nothing. I'm a backer and paid a lot of money for the game. On Friday, the game ran wonderfully. 4K 120fps was fantastic, even on Linux Mint. Then they installed an update or something, and now nothing works again. Every time I start the game, it crashes on the second screen when I press a button on the keyboard.

To get a wolf mount yourself without buying from another player, kill wolves repeatedly, eventually one will respawn with a white name. interact with the white name wolf. You'll get either 'wolf' or 'wolf corpse'. You need to take 'wolf' to an animal husbandry station. It'll cost 75 silver to try turning it into a mount (Maybe wolves are guaranteed mounts? The bot that assigns those roles on Discord communicates with the Intrepid site after you have linked. Due the the volume with this launch it has had some issues. That is why they have created the Newcomer channel so people still have a place to chat. If you have followed all the steps in #read-me-first it will eventually cycle around to giving you those tags. There is no guidance on how long that may be currently.

Being under the world generally puts the character in a stuck state. Try relogging and then immediately on getting back in a /unstuck to die. Or you can try to message a GM in game to unstuck. Or you can file a CS ticket, but due to volume will probably be a long while that way.

I know it is going to be hard to hear, but they allow people to fail here. Carrying everything you own in a game that allows you to drop gathered or processed resources on death is not going to be a good idea ever. The GMs are mostly sleeping at this time of night for them and yes, generally they don't do teleports for people. You can file a ticket, they may respond, but since they are pretty slammed with people sending in stuff like "how do I node?" could be a while. My advice take the loss and learning experience.

There are around 70ish mounts and cosmetics from previous packs/Kicstarter that are available. The store ones are also slowly going out. The mail system is backed up and it may take several hours or longer on a new character before you see anything you are entitled to show up in game mail. If you have something on the list, it will be picked up a settlement or starter area mailbox when available and put into your inventory. You can then apply them. The one you are using disappears. When you choose another of the same type the first one will appear back in your inventory. Correct, you cannot get those EXACT exclusives again, but Intrepid has already released two recolors with this current store offering of armor sets that were sold before. Granted the tabard on one is different and other, but it is basically the same two costumes.

Quests can get you to around 16 with some padding around 10 if you look for them. The destiny system and quests give good rewards if you would rather not grind various mobs for drops. All in what you like to do.

You are right im not. The thing is I'm an artist, who has worked on enviromental design stuff like this, I know things like this void happen when placing assets and stuff, but that's entirely what GM's are for, to Help people in these kinds of situation.

So i'm going to go play something else for a few hours, and Ask again for help when the GMs are awake. If they refuse to help I'm done with this game, and won't be recommending it. Because any policy wher ethe GMs refuse to help in situations liek this is Anti-Player, and Anti-Fun.

D3D is having a fit getting gpu timing data. It's not the game but ur machine (likely). Turn off any overclocks. Overlays. Update all drivers clean install. Update windows. Ask yourself if you're running any kinda weird setup, Linux, dual boot etc.. Check ur machine is running DX12 properly

mage* is solid DPS you'll be fine to get in groups. There's never enough tanks, that's what I rolled. Bard is supposed to be good for solo but I can't bring myself to do it. Cleric was fun solo last round too
