When you open the launcher, it will start a queue to sync steam. Let the queue complete. It will give a request saying ur steam account isn't link. Click the okay button and it will open a tab to sign in to your intrepid account. Once you sign in it will open to a steam login. Login and accept the sync. Restart the launcher and it will load and launch

Queue is location based. Starting zones are super congested on day 1 and have a queue. If you log out far away, you can log back in without a queue since the servers in that area aren’t as populated.

The population limit isnt hitting a server limit, its hitting an area limit. There is 0 queue if you load into The Anvils. So, this should get better as people spread out.

There is no OCE/SEA server currently. They MAY commision one for Beta depending on demand and there is at least a single one guaranteed for Live Launch. But until then it is NA or EU. Those from down under, Singapore and others have played to NA for a long time and said they have no issues.

Right now if you have cosmetics owed/available to you they are mailed to each character and reside in your inventory. The planned system which has not been implemented yet has been said to act like a "account closet" in the future. All your earned/bought account cosmetics will reside there. Then if you want to use one, you take it out of the closet, assign it to the character and then use. That is where you are getting "limited to one character" When you are done using that cosmetic, then you take it off, put back in the closet and assign to a different character if you like. So as an example if you have Armor of Epeen, you will be able to wear it on one character, take it off, then put it on another. Not all of your characters will wear Armor of Epeen at the same time.

Optimization is always an issue currently here. You have to play with various settings till you get it to work the way you like. Then the very next update, those settings could be broken, then you play with them again, and again, and again. They plan to do more exensive optimization in the future when they are not changing things as fast because it is just work that would have to be repeated over and over, taking up dev time for little benefit on their end. It is up to you to play with the settings currently. Don't expect to just hit "all high" or "all low" and get the best results. A mix is what most have reported works best for them depending on the patch. Don't be like this guy.

All servers in a region have the same physical location. So if you roll NA, all NA are the same. Same with EU.

Queue is server worker dependent. So once you get out of the starting areas there are few people trying to load into that worker, so you have in most cases no queue. It is that first time that gets ya. Whatever you do, once you do get in and can play, before you log out, be faaaaarrr away from a starter zone or area.
