This means the attacking player avoids any real penalties and does not turn red.

Depending on your start point there is different stuff scattered around too. For example, south you have to do Sweat of your Brow for crafting tools. Anvils, you just run around portal area and pick some up there, some in Bonfire as an example.

No basic gear vendor currently. All gear must be crafted or dropped. Drops are lower now though. I’m sure all weapon types will have a starter version at some point. Just not at this time.

The main problem I have with people saying, "It's only grey gear," is that there isn't much difference between grey and legendary. The power rating doesn't go up much for rarity, and the power rating doesn't change damage by much. I crafted a blue bow that had more than double the power rating of a green one and only did 5 more damage to the same opponents per hit. Crafting was near useless before and with vendors selling the weapons you can craft at cheaper prices, crafting would be completely useless.

Usually means that any progress by players will be reverted to the point in time they need to roll back too. This will also include any patch issues that were thought to have been fixed or new bugs created because of a patch, etc.

Race is purely cosmetic for appearance. There is a "backgrounds" system that you can see at character creation. That has no function beyond RP right now, but in the future will be where "racial bonuses" reside. Wanna be a dwarf that grew up in a tree? Go for it.

They said they banned people for it. If something feels too easy for the exp/reward you are getting, it is probably not intended. Up to you if you want to risk it. Im afraid thats going to be the opinion. I enjoy soloing sometimes, but soloing feels so slow compared to group mob grinding. If you have a smaller group or play at odd hours it's nice to have something to work towards as a solo player, but maybe that'd be professions (which I haven't truly looked at)

They have instituted a system where mobs drug onto certain areas go into a non interactable state, but it doesn't always work. If you are just hanging out somewhere, keep your head on a swivel. Now if the activity is repeated, take video and send to customer service and if Intrepid feels they were griefing, then they may face account action.

There is a warehousing system to transfer gear and such between alts planned. It is not in game yet. What people are relying on atm is guild storage to transfer items or giving to someone you trust to pass to your alt.

There's no force flag toggle anymore. It's a press and hold thing. Once you're flagged, the you don't have to hold ALT anymore. There is a setting that makes this easier. Type PvP in the settings search bar and it's the first check box

Very open ended question. Do you mean why there is no gear available? The only way currently to get gear is very rare drops (I have gotten two pieces a belt and a ring both grey, pre 10) or to craft it. There are limited quests that give some gear as rewards. At higher levels currently it is the same, rare drops or crafted (which takes a lot of effort, so people that have extra are charging large amounts for it) Hope this helps.

So I'm stuck on the ramparts of the dwarven city. I tried using the unstuck but that killed me. I've tried jumping, blinking, evading and nothing is working. Is there a way to get unstuck without dying? Also can't pick up my ashes from the place I died.

Honestly right now, removing the death penalty for using unstuck is really needed. How are we supposed to explore the world and point out areas that players will get stuck on if we lose our stuff as well as getting an exp debt. I can understand it once the game is live and those types of scenarios have been more flushed out.

The death penalty for unstuck is a temporary (their patch notes) measure because people were exploiting it to fast travel in a game that doesn't want fast travel. Blame those that exploit.

Sorry, spawn refers to the normal resource nodes that appear in the world. Like Philosoraptor said, hit basalt or granite and you have a chance of getting rubies.
