Depends on where they are grinding. If you are thinking something like WoW dungeons, instanced that people go in small groups away from everyone else, then no. People find a spot that have the mobs that drop what they are looking for, or provide the best exp/hour grind and focus on those.

Devs are aware that the older archetypes need work.

For example, during the PTR test on Wednesday where we tested the Rogue, one of the devs said that they're aware that archetypes like Bard and Rogue are far above the older archetypes like Tank, Fighter, Ranger, etc. and those archetypes will be getting love in the future such as new abilities, reworks on their existing abilities, etc.

Tanks had modifications very recently. among some additions that allow them to inflict status effects more frequently like tripping on the 3rd hit of Vengence? and it became more tedious to keep defense up, but you get 10% more physical defense from the spell grit i think, but lose out on some threat generation.

for the first 1-10 you can sell glint. Grab some quests from a node town and lionshold from the town professions board. Gather X. They can be easy to complete and get you some glint and exp. You can also sell mats you farm if you need to. After that, selling items/mats on the different town marketplaces can help. People do caravan runs but they are best done in a guild/group.

Melee you have to have the mob targeted and in range. If that mob dies it doesnt auto target you have to target and it will start up again.

Confirm exactly what the conditions are you are not seeing it start. Also, turn those boxes off and on again, restart ect ect. If still an issue. /bug report it. But it may just be something you are doing/not doing as well.

ik alpha is still alpha but for artisan stuff will professions be more interactive in future, like will the timer aspect get removed and replaced with something that keeps you more engage, like the lumbermill having you scrape/shape the wood, blacksmith having you smooth out the edges of the armor, tailoring having you im guessing sew certain parts of the cloth together, cooking having you add ingredients, cooking something just right and then product is finished(think cooking mama lol) if not its fine, also i havent did any professions yet but lumbermill cause i just started maybe 10min ago

like irl i work deli/butcher(i lean towards cooking proffessions in game), part of what makes those enjoyable for me is doing things accurate and consistently for a period of time and possibly training others in those, so with some mmo players who might treat it as a fulltime job they'd be more engaged and make teaching others come off as professions feeling like a minigame for someone whos never did it. ik the normal system is timers tho so idk if itd be well recieved

another random but brightside is it could combat botting as a form of captcha, like if ur blacksmithing and armor is laid out on a table and to smooth the edges or whatever you gotta hammer certain areas the correct amount of times and any overkill could make you have to restart on that piece, a bot could make an average 15second process take much longer to finish and a player whos very familiar in the profession could turn a 15sec process into 5seconds, just a thought tho

Yes. The game has not been "Done for 5-6 years", it's not done at all. The game is in Alpha. It is in testing. That is the purpose of what is going on, testing, feedback, bugfixing. When all of that is done, years down the road, THEN the game enters Beta. Beta is when things like graphics and audio polish become more of an active focus. That's not to say that they aren't a focus at all even now, but, the primary focus right now is more along the lines of like

Can your character go from Town A to Town B without falling through the world? Can they interact with vendors? Do their skills work? Do buffs work? If stuff breaks, how does it break, and why? And fixing any sort of issues with that, and more

The game is being worked on, updates are occuring, things are moving forward, it's just that the scope of the intended game is extremely large and it is going to take time for that to be finished

Are there some concerns? Yeah, absolutely. There's some periodic issues with communication from the devs. There are concerns that given the scope of the game and the length of development that may be required it's a concern in peoples minds of whether there is enough funding for it, which there probably is, but people are gonna worry.

bard has good dmg but its based a lot on auto-attacking. There are spellswords too you could use, just look for gear with int and enchant it , u can try using a shield also, its probably not optimal but there is one that gives int, all magic based classes scale very good with int

Your install wasnt the issue as far as I can recall.

Your monitor/something about displays was where you were stuck. Something was affecting the install button not being able to be clicked. It was greyed out for you.

Your monitor issues were an inidcation something is wrong with your set up. I would start there.

Once the game is back up, log into the launcher, dont worry about the Install of the game yet. Uninstall everything from the launcher. Then reinstall the launcher fresh. Does that make the install button active?

No this is 100% genuine, Vyra had problems because several guilds of "hardcore" zergs purposefully sabotaged towns and refused to build things or built the wrong stuff on purpose for a long time, and the server is now crippled as a result of it

Tigru - all the classes are strong. I think the most fun to play is fighter / ranger. I think the most useful and easy to get groups for is tank / cleric.

Personally I don't like the ranger animations - so I stopped playing mine. But if you can get past the VFX then it's super fun.

Yeah its a great server, especially if you are new. Tons of pvp, especially between the major guilds, while also having cooperation between the nodes. Nodes are more upgraded than vera, better gear and stuff can be crafted
