I assume this is about disppearing gear, items or materials. You aren't alone with that one, I lost all my best mats gathered since Dec, so I sympathise. At this point I would just accept you won't recover those lost items / time. You either move on and continue playing or just take a break until a larger milestone like P3. Yeah, it is frustrating, but its early days alpha, and I bet Intrepid's office is on fire more often than not. I doubt they have a lot of time and people to throw at player data recovery on the top of their dev schedule. We can only hope storage and character persistence issues are being fixed as a matter of priority to minimise the number of people affected.

You let them know, and then they are aware of it and can work on it. It's not going to be an immediate fix, it'll take time. And unless they require more context on triggering the bug or the impacts or something there's not likely to be a discussion about it.

I really get that, not everyone here is a teen or a student. My guy you should probably cool off a bit, it's an alpha and it has been made abundantly clear an almost uncountable number of times that yeah, there are going to be bugs, there are gonna be issues, make a bug report with as much detail as you can and see if you can replicate the steps that caused the bug and then the bug can be fixed and neither you nor anyone else will have to deal with it again

We know this approach is utilised more in the PTR environment, with level boosts, and gear bags being handed out for more focused testing. Higher EXP rate, drop rates would be appreciated by some of us for sure. Not everyone wants to grind the same content over and over again to reach new content.

I enjoy both. You will get a group easily with either. Both tend to get pigeonholed into a role in groups (cleric healer / bard mana support), but both can DPS well. Both can solo really nicely, but cleric can probably farm larger packs due to crazy self-healing. I find myself playing my bard most of all the archetypes since its skillset feels very satisfying.

I recently bought access to the wave two of AOC and have had issues with the launcher just straight up now showing up.

Its literally just no window, clicking on it in the toolbox or taskbar does not bring it up, it shows as a application I can stream on discord but it just shows a small portion of my desktop.

things I have tried:

• Opening in Administrator.
• Closing and reopening using task manager
• Repairing the install.
• Deleting the files and fully reinstalling.
• Removing the Roaming files and reinstalling.
• Updating drivers.
• Resetting PC in between several of these step

I sent in a ticket to the AOC support and after nearly 2 weeks the response I got was to completely uninstall the launcher and delete everything in the roaming files (which I had stated I had done already)

Please if anyone has gone through something similar I would really appreciate some help.

This is the strangest issue I've ever seen. When you re-installed, did you reinstall from the same .exe? My only thought is to uninstall, re-download the launcher and reinstall (make sure to check all the options when it asks).

yeah tried it both ways multiple times each, restarting a few times in between some

tried repairing from the installer, removing and reinstalling from the installer.

Then deleting everything including the roaming files for intrepid and reinstalling it from the website.

Tried a few times with both methods with a few days break in between each attempt.

Update:

Doesnt seem to work when done with the secondary monitor.

Only worked so far when I booted with secondary unplugged and turned it on again while pc was already on.

my monitors are the following:

Primary: 27" Samsung Odyssey G75T Curved QLED QHD Gaming Monitor

Secondary: Samsung Odyssey G7 4K UHD 144Hz FreeSync HDR IPS 28in Monitor

ill try booting in the same fashion that got it to show 2 times

The suggested fix for "Known Bad CPU" is that you need to set your p1 and p2 voltage limits in your bio on 13/14th gen intel CPUs. I'm not sure what limit they need to be set to. But figured, I'll just go look and see if it's something easy/obvious.

Those posts are a bit dated now. Intel released a patch for this issue in December. Other UE5 games load just fine without this message popping up. Do you know if there is anyway around the pop-up? Was curious about the classes/subclasses. Back when Rift was a thing, they released a class called the Defiler. While I am tank for life, I have a buddy who I trust more than anyone to follow me through the depths of hell and back. He played the Defiler and we were unstoppable. The Defiler was basically dark priest that would use their own health in order to boost their heals towards their allies, while throwing curses and DOTs on the enemies which healed them back. It was a VERY unique approach to a "healer/support" role... almost like a unique Warlock healer because if I am not mistaken, the Defiler could also summon some nasty looking abomination that helped keep the Defiler alive, while the Defiler used their own health to keep the Tank alive. It was a tank healer and not so much an AOE healer if I recall.

My question is... will there be a class like the Defiler in the Ashes of Creation class combination system? I'm assuming the only options would be Shadow Disciple (Cleric+Rogue), Necromancer (Summoner+Cleric) or potentially Cultist (Rogue+Cleric)?

Yeah, I spent 5 hours researching it yesterday. Intel says the issue is fixed as of Dec with a Bios update. Which I've done. Others say you can fix it by changing your voltage settings, which I've done too. But the game still won't launch.

when you dismount, get in the habit of "summoning" it so it disappears. Then it is safe. Then, when you want it again, just summon it and it will be beside you. If you left it somewhere, you have to "summon" it to make it disappear then again, to make it appear.

This is a test not a game. Expect bugs like this to happen. They are not taking the time to research and return lost items as it would consume way too much of their time. Many others have lost entire storages or even their entire set of gear.

(1) There is a quest in lionshold, the "get 6 parcels". just as you go north. That will give you 3 pieces of green gear.

(2) Dont buy gear from lionhold vendor, go to a node town, way cheaper

(3) Kill goblins (alot of goblins) they will drop gear.

(4) South of Lionshold there are highwaymen, kill them for a bit.

(5)West of the Church of the 7 Stars, along the road. there are goblins in the forest, great gear drops there when you can solo them. (Moar goblins yes)

(6) Dont bother trying to make you gear, that is a guild group effort. Instead, grind stuffs. (glint, mats) and sell that up to lvl 10 at vendor. Buy some gear there if you need to.

(7) At 10, become a citizen, and you can get some gear from the citizen vendor with citizen bucks. Do orders to get them (That guy is by the storage shed, and maybe mayor commissions)

There are many bugs with guild management atm. People were able to Disband Guild as a normal member. Then they removed that since it was unintended, and anyone could troll join a guild then disband it. So now the pendulum has swung the other way. There are bugs trying to leave a guild. My recommendation, since it is the weekend and you probably won't get a response for a good, long while is try to remove all the other members using the trashcan, and then once it is just yourself try to leave.

That's what I figured. I'm not even sure if it's a bug. An enemy dropped combatant status mid fight and my rupture or bleed killed him afterwards which flagged me. I wasn't sure if dropping combatant status mid combat and having delayed damage effects that were applied beforehad cause corruption was intended. I know it feels bad

anytime. Nodes have quest boards that even low levels can do and at low levels can give good exp. Mostly gather this, kill some of those ect. Lvl 10 is when you can become citizen, but you can start to bank citizen bucks by doing quests from the Requesition vendor (beside storage) and the mayor board (up by the Town hall) You can buy gear with those bucks after you become a citizen.
