Umm, that was not intended or experienced by the vast majority of people. If you received account action resulting in your toons being wiped, you should have received an email from Customer Service telling you the hows and whys. Intrepid does not speak publicly about specific account actions, that is on those impacted to share for privacy reasons. But if you think you have been a big enough shit to justify a wipe of your characters, that may indeed have happened. If not, then probably a bug and you should submit a ticket.

Some common issues is make sure that the game is installed on SSD, any and all antivirus are turned off, and VPN disabled. Those are all common fixes/issues that others with black screen on launch have reported.

I just did this same thing yesterday. the lumber comes out at max 20 per stack so you need 13 1x3 bag spaces. I had to hit apprentice lumberjacking and upgrade my bag to get it out. Currently its all or nothing when claiming a finished job

So currently static server meshing is in, which means on the world map atm, the server boundaries are the same all the time. When Dynamic server meshing gets added, the boundaries can change and morph depending on if there's a large scale fight for example in one of the servers

It isn’t very well optimized and the constant patches can create problems that they don’t immediately catch. The game has been made unplayable to many people after various patches over the past few months. I’d suggest repairing your launcher and report the issue via the in game bug form or the forums with all pc specs. You should also verify it isn’t an issue for any other games to ensure your PC isn’t the issue.

If it continues to be an issue, you probably just have to wait for a patch to fix it.

I get that Moss. I just also think it seems super hard to get anyone to group up to go into the dungeons instead of just standing at the front and grinding mobs. So when I’m trying to experience quest lines that force me into dungeons, I get hard stuck because no one wants to actually do the dungeon unless they are overleveled and instead they just stand at the beginning and kill the same 5 mobs for 3 hours straight. It seems a waste to not experience and test the beautiful immersive world that the devs are building. Maybe I’m in the minority though. I’m constantly told that “MMO’s are for grinding to end game bro” but I think if that were the case the devs would just not put quests in them.

I like tank archetypes, and I don't understand what you tried to do with your tank in this game. Could you explain it to us?

From my point of view, the first version was much closer to my idea of a tank, and I enjoyed playing it much more, both in PvP and PvE.

As of now, I believe the modification to grit has made this ability much less used, if not completely obsolete. This results in a loss of physical damage mitigation for tanks and a huge vulnerability to magical damage.

Having an activatable passive that makes the character tankier, reduces DPS, and generates more aggro was a logical and sensible choice.

Finally, I think the guard ability should be modified as follows:
An activatable/deactivatable skill on a single target at very short range, allowing the damage taken by the guarded ally to be transferred to the tank. This mechanic would be more in line with DAoC or Warhammer Online, which had very effective solutions.

So with Animal Husbandry, I can see the gliding and flying mounts. But from what I can read it is only the mayor of nodes and big guild leaders going into battle that can have flying mounts. Is there a way for normal mount hoarders like myself to get the flying mounts just to have them in my collection?

I'm averaging somewhere around ~15ish bug reports per day usually

Far higher if I'm doing harvesting because I'm making sure to report any instances of non-interactable harvestables or resources spawning within walls, same for mobs spawning within walls

Also trying to use a different browser can also fix this with the above steps if it does not work the first time.

As far as i know: Yes, every Week at these 5 Days playable - With no planned wipes ( but not 100% impossible that there maybe is one ) and the 110$ is for current Alpha 2 (so you can play tomorrow), Alpha3 ( planned 7 days per week uptime) all betas and 1 month of gametime when game is released.

i like the warrior fantasy with the whole frontline sword/shield vibe so gonna lean into fighter

and does damage scale mostly off weapons or base stats/attributes

shield is always going to be a tradeoff of more damage mitigation for loss of damage output. the higher your lvl the more the tradeoff is. an example would be 1 handed sword vs 2 handed greatsword. its roughly 1/2 the dps output

the tradeoff is you get a shield which has the same armor points as a pice of gear typically.. so its like wearing another pair of gloves/boots/etc in terms of armor

think of weps as stat sticks.. Phys power rating gets converted to your overall physical power along with your Str stat feeding into it. your wep has Physical Power Rating.. 1 str = 3 phys power rating... 10 phys power rating = 1 physical power. all your skills are based off physical power

EU also with there being one atm, but I’m from eastern EU and play on Lyneth with no noticeable latency problems beacuse of that so if you have a decent connection I’d go as far as to say play on whatever server you want.

3. What does higher mount rarity do? It looks like speed is the same

I don’t know about the first and the last question, but higher level processing lets you process higher tier mats that are used in crafting higher tier equips/consumables and so on. If you’re not goinng down the crafting route but like the processing, it’s good to level that up and maybe get a few coins here and there processing materials for crafters.

But have you checked the mount health inregards with the mount rarity? Does that increase?

The 1st point is my main consideration. I remember playing tank mage with shield in archage and it was awesome. Was thinking about the same here but need a math to check possibilities. Full cloth gave almost immunity to mages while shield gave missing armor. Kinda coutnerpicked everything.

Artisan level is irrelevant beyond every 10 levels being able to get the next tier, and rarity does nothing for mounts

Even in the absolute best defensive gear you can get, if you go up against someone with solid offense-focused gear, under the way that gear and stats work at this particular moment, it will be wet toilet paper

You will become a human-sized bag of paint splattered across the walls

Defensive stats are borderline worthless

Maxed out defensive gear with cooldowns popped and you'll get killed in 3-4 shots instead of 1-2
