Its alot, and i mean ALOT worse there. I have a very beefy system and I was constantly crashing.lagging, ect there. I had to drop all the settings down, and run in windows mode (with a small window not full screen) and i still Dc and lagged a bunch.

Once i got out of that area, huge huge difference.

Get your mount quest done, and then get out of there, Use a town for all the things.

Yeah it decreases the casting time of abilities, not by much but it does. Personally I don't prioritize it, I play healer and the way I play healer doesn't require it a whole lot.

I just started a caravan. Payed 10s, got the Item in my inventory, then logged out and back in again and now i cant spawn the caravan in my current node. Before all that i recalled it. Anyone knows a way to fix this? Relogging and restarting the game did nothing.
When i try to spawn the caravan it says: "You are trying to deploy a caravan in the wrong node. Go back to Caravan Stabled node and try again.".

I used to use a spellbook on my bard and used to have the chill finisher selected. I now made myself a bow to test the weapon and then i noticed that my finisher still applies chill. Is something still up with Treasure Maps? I'd never been able to do one before, so I just did a "Common" one. I found a cache and opened it, but it used a "Rare" Excavation Kit and my quest didn't update. Did I find someone else's cache or is there something else going on? You need to match your kit type to your map type? not sure if its okay if the kit is higher level or not. Did you get the treasure? if you did, you can abandon the quest. Thats the best way.

So if you wanted to make "Heroic Flax", you'd use Heroic droppings, flax seed, and water.

UPDATE: I think I did use a Rare map now, there were three circles for me to search in (never able to do any maps before), but the quest was still bugged. I did abandon it and then used a Common map (for sure this time!) and it worked. But the quest didn't update when I found that cache either, so I abandoned that one. But am on my third map, so they seem to be working, except you have to "manually complete" (aka abandon) them.

comparing stats on a spellbock vs wand+focus the spellbook seems to be a bit stronger in the beginning. Am I missing somethign about the Wand that would make it better?

Two things, wand + focus gives more casting speed I believe, and wand gets faster finishers which is important. It extremely important for my cleric for instance. I have bless weapon, refreshing finishers and inner fire which all give me mana on a finisher, helping to keep my mana up, which in turn keeps everyone up.

Yes, but it's not really all that worth it when you can get apprentice bags.

The Rare added +2 to the carrying capacity, where the apprentice bags you can get at lvl 10 and add a lot more.

Tank primary is the main and only way to really play Tank. Secondaries aren't currently in the game yet so you can't be Tank/X or Cleric/X yet

1. I play mostly solo. I'll group up with people I'm in a discord with, but 90% of my leveling (level 17) I've done solo. I'd say it's slow, but not unreasonable.

2. I can't speak much for solo tank, but solo cleric is very survivable. Self healing is powerful. Though keep in mind once secondary archetypes come out any class can spec into cleric, for what will probably be self healing.

3. I don't do much crafting, you can get away with not doing it. Most I've done is in relation to treasure maps.

4. You can do that, just keep in mind it may be hard to advertise yourself without a guild.

5. There is a karma system, anyone who kills a non pvp flagged person gets corruption and you can see that, additionally killing that person may drop some of their gear.

Farming in an 8 man group for hours for some pieces to drop and you get mages rolling on strength gear, fighters rolling on ranger gear etc

Rolling for their alt or to sell on the market just isn’t proper mmo looting and needs to be fixed, greed rolls should determine who gets to sell it, not being able to need on every single drop.

Easy fix would be having the set bonuses only apply to certain classes, eg (bloom warden set - (set bonus only applies to mages and clerics)

Is there changes being planned or is this how it’s going to be?

This is how it’s going to be. Mages can wear heavy armor, tanks can wear light armor, all weapons are useable by all classes. If someone is taking gear they shouldn’t remove them from your group. It’s a social sandbox mmo meaning your reputation on the server will have an impact and if you’re known as a ninja you’ll probably have less groups wanting to invite you.

You can control the players though. You have full control of who you invite or group with. With the introduction of secondary archetypes these lines might even blur further. Fighter/mage may need or want high int gear.

The game has known issues launching / staying launched if your storage isn't an SSD. It might launch on an older Hard disk drive, but the drive itself can't keep up with the games transfer rate basically

A whole world of a crafting system. Caravan system alone is a blast. Economic markets in small regard. You can get involved in building up nodes, everyone's always looking for organization to assist in that effort. Tons of mob types and a few different dungeons. Also the best thing of all is how good the combat feels. You can't really be shown how good the combat feels as videos do not do it justice.

To my knowledge the alpha has open servers so during alpha you can play on the eu server Lotharia whenever you want. But when the game releases to my understanding servers will be region locked based on sub price. So in theory you’ll be able to play on an EU server you’ll just have to pay the EU sub cost. But you’d be locked to EU servers on that sub. That’s if I understood Steven correctly with the regional pricing and subs.

There'll be a standard price which is currently planned to be $15 a month. If you pay that then you can play on any server regardless of region. The regional pricing comes into play if they decide to add a South American or Turkish server for example. The price to play on those servers would be lower, but you'd be locked to those servers.

I have a dumb question. Phase 2 wiped everything and we all started from square 1 again. But phase 2 started back on the 20th. I popped in this weekend and saw there was almost zero node progression on Lyneth. Am I missing something? Was there a different reset im not aware of?

Did you just choose not to read the other answers to your question? The filter they’re using is purposely oppressive right now. No one, including the devs, have stated saying you’re Asian is bad. These characters aren’t permanent, they’ll get wiped within the next 6 months regardless of what you do.
