Is there any way that we can put in a bug request to get our characters journals completely wiped. I really enjoyed doing a lot of personal science testing with maps and treasure hunting. I had a map quest active and I guess there was a server restart and now the quest is gone from my journal. When I try to use a new map it doesn't work and my guess is because there is an invisible journal entry for the previous quest I had that I never finished or abandoned. So a possible fix action which I would like to be tried would be to wipe my characters journal or maybe add a button that allows you to reset your entire journal if you keep having quest bugs.

That is correct. Novice only work for lvl 1 gear. Apprentice only work for lvl 10 gear, etc

a lot of quests are borked and in general quests are not worth doing and its not the main focus of the current alpha test either so the advice is just to do the first quest called sweat of your brow and ignoring quest outside of events after that

So with no rarity rating, you will always get the same rarity from a node till it reseeds, with rarity rating, you have a small chance of getting a higher rarity every hit.

A siege declaration to possibly destroy a node ranges from 3-6 days prep time. A 2 hour siege. If successful the node is blasted back to zero and becomes a conflict zone for a week. If failed it goes into a cooldown before it can be sieged again for the aforementioned 30-60 days.

The node that was attacked. The nodes immediately surrounding it would be under the vassal system. Nodes do not declare sieges on each other. Players declare sieges. Nodes have node wars, that do not end with destruction, just loss of temporary territory and resources. There are many mechanics, and different ways to ask what you looking for.

a 3080 can use 350 watts and power rails generally supply about 100 watts and a gpu can get about 50 watts from the motherboard. A psu can supply more power though a rail, but its harder on the psu. (a lower ranked psu might even undersupply the gpu)
For most games, the gpu can work on just 2 rail because its not using full power.

You can use a benchmark software to test if your gpu gets limited by power draw.

They’re not being used to test because there is very little content released in the game that you can test on them. All you can do is plant some trees and flowers unless you get certain JM buildings unlocked. -the space needed for one.

What does "Holiday Testing" mean? I think the development Feature Communication per major build change is poor.
As a QE, that means "we haven't made any major changes to main since A2-P2 start and on the 14th, we are finally going to push some more Alpha features and refocus the purpose of QE on the 14th"
Is that more accurate?
I think this is why some people, including professional testers, may be having a problems with these builds that don't have enough focus of background to the purpose of each build.
Just pulling back-end data mining for meandering users can be problematic and frustrating as a a Paid "Alpha Tester" (as I think most everything is VERY macro at this point)

"Paid" , such as in other professions where you have "gentlemen" who pay their way in are called "paid" participants. Therefore, all of us who are not salaried, are "paid", by that definition. They are the ones that afford the exsitence, if even partially, of a co-paid system to work. In this case, we are really only paying for Cloud / Server costs. I won't argue the term past that definition or it's purpose.

They will be rebalancing all game systems over time. I don’t think the current artisan system will be what comes out with the finished game.

Another example of how the crafting system is bad right now is that players hit lvl 20 weeks before you can even craft lvl 20 gear because the buildings aren’t available. Same with lvl 10 and lvl 10 gear since you can hit lvl 10 much faster than nodes hit lvl 3 and buildings aren’t built. It will be improved over time.

Let it go for a bit, it's doing something and if its a first run on the install it may be compiling shaders which can take a moment. Next thing I'd try is deleting your AOC app data folder. You can get there by going to %appdata% in explorer, go back one level and go to AppData\Local\AOC

if you delete the AOC folder in local appdata it should rebuild it on next launch

If you are stuck in a weird place (I have been there!) try the /unstuck option. If that doesnt work for you, you might need to either get someone to kill you so you can respawn, or a mob come do it. There isnt much else you can do. Sometimes.....it will resolve if you log out for a bit. Depends.
