For anyone looking for Church of the Seven. Just west of Lions hold there is crafting stations and an ember spring. Just NW of that ember spring (across the river) is a path that leads west up the mountain.

You will see an herbalist on the map, also there you will find a priest that gives you a quest for collecting stuff at church. That that quest and head NE you will find the trail that takes you to the church ember spring. Find a group and start grinding. Mobs are all like 10'ish so dangerous going alone at 7 but as a group you're fine.

There is also a 2nd quest chain but it's tricky to pick up. Byou have to go inside the building, find the strange key (on the 2nd floor), follow the blood to the top and then it will tell you to kill guys outside. Worth doing but if you're new don't try to pick it up on your own, inside the church is dangerous and top level is very dangerous.

Church is great way to go from 7 to 10

Me and my GF got ourselves cats today. Adopted two little sisters and called them Yoink and Boink. On picture you can see Yoink really enjoying some ravens grind. Yoink is even attacking screen with her fluffy paws sometimes adding to the damage I deal, i Hope its not a problem with game rules. Also with her help I will be first player to kill 1000000 ravens, do better be achievment for that after release 😂

Def do the quest on the way up the hill from lionshold. Collect 6 packages. You turn into dudes in tents on the way to any town. Parcels are on the ground. Orange glowing sparkling. You get 3 pieces of green gear very early.

If it's 13th gen, it's harder to say because of the issue with degradation and corrosion. It starts with the CPU but it will damage the rest of the unit and look like other issues

Taxes increase as you level, and filling the requestion requests reduces them, iirc. They're also higher if you are in a large node. The idea is to get you to move to a cheaper node. You could also not pay them because there doesn't seem to be a punishment for not paying.

Thats the thing the crash's after the hard crash are random on where it happens, sometimes its the instant the screen goes black, sometimes after a load bar of the bad cpu box, sometimes right at the character screen, its alot, but yea ill be reporting it.

Your task manager will have info, it will show what is happening and where the overload is, something is causing it. Make sure to include that in your bug report on their forums

There has been no announcement of any wipe beyond the one at the end of testing, years in the future. They may, or may not. The 6th is just when the current uptime will stop. How long for, they haven't said. But the phase is meant to be 5 days up a week. No specific schedule has been stated. So, could go down on the 6th, come back up on the 7th, and after 5 days go down for two. Or could be down till later, come back up, be up for 3 days, down for one, up for two, and so on.

tbh i just basically use what i find leveling to 10. You can get gear pretty easy from humaniods. (including goblins). There is also a quest you can do at lvl 1 (get 6 parcels, turn in) that gives you 3 green pieces of starter gear.

Dont bother buying gear from the vendor in Lionhold. its pricy and meh. MAYBeeeeee a weapon.

At lvl 10 go to a node town, and you can get there from the vendor that is lvl 10 gear.

But, stats matter. Stats > level, or colour.

The issue seems to be the install of Direct X on some peoples computers, its not all. You could try reinstalling and making sure that option is checked, or run repair?

Less busy may be difficult. But I'd say find a city/node you and your lads like the most. For now, the world remains small, so travelling (which will be inevitable no matter what) isn't much of a concern. So looks and the people become more important.

Hi everyone, i can see there have been plenty of posts about being unable to create an account. 1. How was this person able to roam freely next to guards without being attacked?
2. Why didn't the guards attack me when he pulled?
3. How did he resurrect right on his grave?
   Saw him trolling around the town so thought I'd counter him. He was pulling people and trying to get them attacked by guards. (Saw this happen once. I also learnt my lesson not to use AOE in town. Got out alive luckily). Also found him attacking an AFK lvl 25 Cleric in an out of the way spot and had chunked his health to at least 3/4 before I found him.

many servers have their own informal discord that regularly post updates about which town has what, i recommend getting into those discords and following that stuff. But yes, you need to find the stoneworks, that will have an upgraded bench to make the new tool.

Actually, first guild was the highest numbers we could tell online. Ended up being kinda campy, so we went and smacked trees to end it so the poor souls could go about their night Second was the main guild which was confirmed to have 10 people in it after we sent the war so we just cut trees to end that.

I had this same issue and it turns out I had enabled full video card debug logging in the patcher. This was preventing me from using DLSS. Not sure if what you are seeing is the same but worth checking the patcher settings prior to launch.

I think you can do any node, there is a great spawn, east of Halcyon. Find the "T" in the road that has a big rock formation in the middle of it, and just south of that (kinda SE) there are lvl 19 webweaver spawns

The rarity of the processed material is solely dependent on the ingredients and not the fuel. There is a chance it upgrades to a higher rarity if you have clothes that give rarity rating.

HOW TO FIX IT.
set metal respawn timers to 15 mins.
lower chance of rarities
lets be honest 99% of people are after the rare ores, crafters want common ores just to level. Lets make the crafting leveling easier like it is for the other crafters
ore node spawn every 4 hours, so if we have a 1% chance of a legendary node
ore node spawns every 15 mins, so we have a 0.0625 chance of a legendary node
this keeps all the rare ores at the same level we have now (not sure what the % is set at but you get the idea)

Hello, am heavily considering buying the alpha. Been looking for a new MMO to sink time into and figured I'd rather grow roots in a new game from the start. Just wondering if anyone knows if there will be any early adopter rewards once the game launches? I am aware of the wipes, more curious about titles, or other unlocks that don't affect gameplay.

Hi. Development not slow. They have been on holiday vacation. (They come back this coming Monday) They do regular bug fixes. New mechanics come in waves because they want to iron out many bugs/glitches/exploits before adding new things. (What a game dev should do). At launch you get one month of game time (will be a subscription at launch) and $15 of in game credit at launch. (Just cosmetics). With what you buy now in the shop they give the alpha key. And the two beta keys. This game is in heavy alpha stages. Many mechanics are still slowly being introduced and others are still being tweaked. If you have questions feel free to message me

Any "early adopter" rewards were put out in the Kickstarter and earlier crowdfunding. There has been no mention of any guaranteed rewards during testing that will carry over to the live launch. Intrepid has in the past, at their discretion awarded minimal cosmetic only rewards for certain testing phases. For example, those of us in early alpha zero testing have been promised a "windmill boss" knick knack that can be placed in player housing. They gave a similar housing knick knack during the pandemic to those that had accounts or created accounts during that window. APOC had a battle pass, free and paid that gave various cosmetics. But later testing has had no "perks" and again, they have not promised any currently.

Is Interpid aware that there is an issue with low lvl mobs farming by maxed out players? I play for 2 days and there is a camp of mobs 1-3 lvls which is constantly occupied by 25 lvl players killing them instantly. They ruin new player progression. Maxed out players should farm in their respective lvl area.

thats because of the huntable grem. they spawn on the same respawn points that regular grem do, so its the only fast way to train hunting + farm grem skin. a major bottleneck for all armour and clothing crafting.

This is also the most dense spot of grem in the entire game currently so its inevitable.

For the first week of phase 2, i was able to run the game fine on max graphics with no issues.
