I crashed while placing a caravan near Winstead. When I logged back in the caravan was gone from my inventory and when visiting the Caravan Master it says I must stable my Caravan before I can do anything.

I got my caravan bugged in the middle of summoning it with the beacon while the reset was happening yesterday.
Now that caravan can't be recovered and game doesn't let me buy a new one. I have seen this issue before with another player in phase 1 and it was never fixed on that character.

I put in a bug report and a ticket on the website but since they say on the ticket that there won't be in game support during Alpha 2 I'm not very hopeful on a manual fix on my character.

I'd say it be better to implement a system that checks damage inflicted, deflagging and a death of damage receiver shortly after deflagging, maybe 20-30seconds.

And the person that did the damage and deflagged, in the event of death, gets corruption. Cause what they are doing by doing as you said, is avoiding corruption stacks.

Normally it goes into a failsafe recover mode. But if that fails too... your boned as far as i can tell.

You get an event that replaces the caravan guard event with a 'recover caravan' button... except you have to be 'near' wherever the game considers your caravan to be...

So if the game cant figure out where it thinks your caravan is supposed to be...

The client is in an alpha state and has had little to no optimization done. Depending on your setup, it may use a majority of resources when performing various updates and actions. It has gotten better over the years, but sometimes may appear to "hang" while updating and other behavior that other games may not display. Just wait for the progress bar to advance, if it stays in the same position for 5-10 minutes, then reboot and try again.

Embers are meant for the cosmetic cash shop after live release. Odds are they won't have you able to spend them in a testing environment as that would be problematic since nothing carries over to live launch and is wiped. They may test the cosmetices during alpha and beta, and just like the current mounts and armor sets in game, many of those were sold cosmetics that people will not be keeping, but instead will become the skins that were sold.

I’m running this game on an asus a16 gaming laptop. Game is installed on ssd. From my limited pc knowledge ( recently switched from console ) I meet or exceed everything to run this game.

The problem is this game is nothing more than a load screen simulator. If I do get into the game I get booted a second after load in with a “connection to realm timed out” message.

Im aware. Its still incredibly dissapointing to be hard walled out of systems you want to test because the game is setup to be extremely competitive, and bugs set me back so often that i can't even try to remotely be competetive

being told its an alpha doesn't make that feel any better.

I literally took a week off work, and no lifed trying to level to 20 for the level requirement, and make money, and what i got was a mess of bugs, and to be outright laughed at by people on my server for thinking i could even attempt it in the first place. while still being broke as a joke and a freehold being monumentally out of the question.

fundamentally i know its an alpha, i knew there would be bugs. But it doesn't make it feel any better that i more often than not was impacted by the bugs at a seemingly far higher rate than most players. I was in a party with others who would go days without more than the odd rubber banding issue, meanwhile im falling through the floor, being killed by mobs through walls, having caravans literally disappear while im just driving them. Having invisible walls appear around my caravan, delivering a caravan to a node getting the countdown timer and everything just for it to be missing from the caravansry when i go to move the items out to sell. The list goes on and on, and it doesn't feel great knowing that due to this i just can't compete with the others who aren't having these issues at all.

I got my caravan bugged in the middle of summoning it with the beacon while the reset was happening on the 26th.
Now that caravan can't be recovered and game doesn't let me buy a new one. I have seen this issue before with another player in phase 1 and it was never fixed on that character.

I put in a bug report and a ticket on the website but since they say on the ticket that there won't be in game support during Alpha 2 I'm not very hopeful on a manual fix on my character.

so i am currently stuck with 1 blight that i did not mean to get and unfortunatly its starting to get to me. me losing 25% of my resourses permanetly each death is so unfortunate. i got the blight by accident, i for 1 did not know you could dmg unmarked players while pvp flagged. i was defending my friends loot and did a fire prismatic beam and ended up killing a unmarked lowbie on accident. im not sure if that a bug or if it is intended that i should just 1 shot someone like that who is low level by accident.

Its when you queue, not when you pickup. For crafting this isnt as relevant cause... its the same. But for processing its important for when you queue it to have your Xp buffs, not when you pick it up

To attack back yes, If they kill you and your still unflagged they'll go red building corruption, allowing all non flagged people the ability to attack them.

Blight is a perma stat that stacks everytime you kill a white name. The higher the stack of blight the faster you will build levels of corruption. The first time you kill a white name youll get 1 stack of corruption. and a little bit of blight. By the 5th kill on a white name. You would have built enough blight that even if you clear corruption. The first white name kill after will get you 2 stacks of corruption immediately. This system is setup to prevent people just being absolute knockers to non combatants without consequences. Each stack of corruption has additive debufs to go along with it.

With the ability to drop gear from 1 stack onwards

To anyone having trouble loading the game; I just upgraded my ram to two 16gb crucial ddr5 ( upgraded from two 8 gb ) as well as installed a 1 tb wd black ssd. I then loaded the game onto the new ssd. Zero load screen issues, no more 75% load screen bug. Was loaded into the game within seconds where it used to take me a few minutes. is there a system in place besides corruption that prevents someone from constantly killin the same player anywhere. like if 1 guy is farming and the other isnt then hes killing the farmer for sport at that point(i heard theres a slight amount of loot drop but that still means its for sport since its not enough to consider the pker an actual farmer competing for an area) so would there be something like an invuln to dmg feature to prevent repeated griefs to the farmer from a specific player or guild for x amount of time. I know as of right now the griefing isnt too bad but also most arent gonna focus their professions since the alpha is mainly players just them testing classes, servers and mechanics

No, that would be targeted harassment, and would be up to the player to provide screenshots/clips of said behavior for a GM to rule on.

Realize that we are not talking about "dynamic player interactions," it would have to be them specifically targeting you as a player repeatedly, chasing you around the map, just to kill you for no reason, or spawn camping. There is no system (currently) to prevent that, though they have implemented some basic invulnerability on starter zones for the first few levels.

You could promote at the woodshop east of briarwood farms, but you really need to go to a node that has a woodshop to promote since you can only get the upgraded axes which are required to use the promotion there anyway. If your on Lyneth this is Winstead. You can zoom in on nodes on the map to see what buildings they have constructed.

You need to look several years back onto the original email that you signed up for Kickstarter with. You account email and that email must match. You would have received a code at that time. That sounds like a bug and should probably be reported. I don’t think a node is suppose to always be uncommon. Should be rolled on a table for rarity.
