There are delays in events, rubber banding and things are not crisp and clean when interacting with things or even when in combat in a crowded area. All of this is valuable data for Intrepid and the point of the testing. What they do with it is up to them, but keep in mind dynamic gridding is not up yet as far as I know, which could/should help with these problems. At least thats my understanding.

Are you sure you are not thinking about comissions? You can complete commission quest with complete button in quest log (unless this is what changed). There was never an option like that for regular quests -- at least for my time with the game, which is about a month.

There is a keybind to toggle it. I am not 100% sure, but I think its ALT + F or CTRL + F. It's safer to check keybind options. You should see a icon in your buffs after enabling it.

Keep in mind, that there is no such thing as disabling PVP in a way that you would be 100% protected from other players (except for the initial first couple levels protection). In Ashes people can kill you at any time. However if its not PVP kill but PK kill there are dire consequences to that.

There might be changes in future. For example how similar system worked in Lineage 2 is that to attack any person flagged for PVP you wouldn't have to force cast your spells and it would flag you for PVP as well. To kill someone without PVP flag you would have to force cast everything anyway.

This system is a little bit different, but you get used to toggling it on and off. Feel free to share feedback on the forums I am sure there will be a section to this now or eventually.

A buddy had similar earlier, it turns out you have to have a common log from the trees around the back of the building. If it is a higher tier variety the quest doesn't advance
