The artisanship system is not balanced in any way. Combat, stats, and a host of other things crafting and economy related are not also. Worry less about what the numbers are, and more if the process works.

intended gameplay is very vague and unless you completely understand the intentions behind the core gameplay mechanics you can't say for sure whether certain things are intended or unintended. For example you can animation cancel certain skills with dodge while maintaining a buff from the skill this obviously seems unintended but the line isn't so distinct all of the time.

The game is a PVX game, so every server has PVP. However, the guilds with specific focuses and large player counts have somewhat stuck together

Lyneth is where huge streamers are

Resna is where the hardcore competitive guilds were generally located. But, guild drama and exploits have caused migrations.

Vyra is where the roleplay scene has coalesced, and overall it skews collaborative over pure competition. It also attracts trolls due to that.

if you want to get a certain rarity then youll need everything at the rarity you want or something of higher rarity to balance out any lower tier materials. having a good rarity artisan crafting shirt to boost the quality upto the next rarity range certainly helps

Hello, Question for multi-monitor/display users.

I hooked up my old monitor just to have a smaller 2nd display mainly for discord, and to not have to alt-tab as much. Issue: The curser is going off screen even(the game) in full screen mode. I Don't want the curser to go off screen while playing the game. I Figured fullscreen mode would fix that, but it doesn't.

I read something about some games having mouse restraint or something named like that, where in game you set it, then the curser won't go off screen.

I know there's a slight work around to move the Windows OS - display off to one section to minimize the issue, but DOES ANYONE Know if there's a setting(IN GAME) to lock the curser to AoC game client window ? ....

All blues get you a low quality blue.

All blues and a heroic get you a slightly better blue

One blue and several epics will likely get you a heroic output.

You should be able to level 5 to apprentice. Get each to 10 then visit the person to upgrade your certificate to apprentice. Then 4 of those can be leveled to 20 and promoted to journeyman.

You’d need to go to the right person to promote each and create your artisan tool.

You can promote the skills at various POIs around Lionhold… the wood shop east of briarmoor farms, for the lumberjacking, for example.

That sounds right. Hit 10 in lumberjacking. Promote it to apprentice. Go to the t3 node that built a wood shop. Make your tool.

Repeat for each of the other professions, up to a total of 5 apprentice skills. Of those 5, 4 can go on to be promoted to journeyman.

That’s the issue then. You have to track down the npc that can promote you to apprentice (they can also demote you from apprentice to novice if you change your mind, though it forfeits any xp gained past 10)

There are spots in the areas around Lionhold to promote/demote… I think that’s in case nodes get destroyed, so you have the ability to swap professions if a node doesn’t have the building. but you can’t build the gathering tools there. That needs to get done in whichever node built the building that goes with the profession. You can promote/demote there and build the next tier tool… which will help you gather rarer stuff, faster, higher quantity, etc… also you can buy apprentice bags/artisan clothes there which also improve your gathering stats.

What's the deal with the fighter hate? I'll be in global LFG for hours, change my wording from XX Fighter LFG to XX DPS LFG and immediately get a group just to be told "sorry we don't want a fighter" (0 fighters in group) then get kicked.

I have been completely locked out of caravan content. I was trying to convert my full caravan from a raft back to a cart and my caravan disappeared. I have since not been able to recall it, repurchase a new one, or drive anyone elses caravan. I am also permanently in a caravan event, assuming it is my disappeared caravan. I’d consider logging out, back in, verifying the account you are logged in to has the beta in your inventory, then check the shop…. Because I’d expect there to be a discount to upgrading from
Beta to Alpha access. However, I’m not an expert on that stuff.

I think you unequip the weapon, buy an enchanting scroll from the scribe vendor (or craft one), click the enchanting scroll, select your weapon. Attempt to enchant it. ($$)

You can buy more scrolls and attempt do it more often if you’d like. ($$$)

It's a material tag bug after xfering them via caravan atm,bugs out the materials, it's better to run em by foot atm if needing to move them

With different characters you can - and currently it’s pretty easy to have processing alts…. Other than moving the items from one character to another.

But the quests to upgrade certifications will likely evolve over time. I don’t believe the plan is to just talk to an npc to swap up or down a cert level.

My recommendation would be waiting until Phase 3 (planned for May). Phase 2 at launch won't be too much different than what's in now, but Phase 3 will have quite a bit extra added by the time it launches.

If you really want to get in earlier, wait until Dec 20th. Progress will be wiped for the next phase on the 20th so nothing you do now will carry over

Yes, bound to you. You can log out or server can crash and you still get it when it’s done.

But make sure to equip the specific artisan shirt at the beginning of the process to get the benefits.

Oh, and you can select a processing amount of exactly 1/5/10/25/50/100/250 … and rarity of multiple processing components must match… and be careful not to do a giant batch of tanning because you can generate more output than you can even hold.

Citadel of the Steelbloom there is 3 doors in the center.

I looted a corpse. A 8 man tried to jump me. I killed their tank twice and pulled extra mobs in. Looted their bodies every time they died. Said they were reporting me for greifing. We're all around the same level.

is weapon attack speed really based on the stat only or overrode by weapon type? short spellbow sees to fire the fastest but if i equip a wand and focus with higher magical casting speed rating, and i see a higher (90%) in magic offense on the character sheet, is it really faster than the shortbow with a lower number

Hey I'm a fighter, I noticed when I equipped a bow finally it increased the damage my greatsword and abilities do, is the physical power from the bow supposed to increase my total power like a stat block or is this a bug?

Before a bow equipped my power was 93, after equipped on character it is 123

secondary weapons / the one you aint using is a stat stick increasing your damage, so make sure you have good weapons in both slots

Go to the Hunting Lodge in that town and find the commodity vendor. Interact with him and you should be able to select "cargo" from the storage tab. Your crates should show up there if it's not bugged. Now you can sell them to the vendor.

Hey, folks. I am having trouble with the launcher. When I try to install, it starts to download and show the status, however it will time out and tell me to check my ISP, which is not the issue. A player just attacked me. I was not flagged. I couldn't attack him back without flagging, so I did. He killed me. He's not corrupted.

Am I supposed to just let him hit me if I want him to be corrupted? I would expect corruption to apply the moment you hit a player who is not flagged

Leveling from 9 to 10, my exp bar wanted me to hit 171k Exp, and leveling from 10 to 11 asks me for 158k...
Just saying maybe checking all levels XP requirement. Might have also been a visual bug.

It's not buggy, it's actually intentionally like that specifically to make it a bigger hurdle to get to your next big milestone

It's better than spreading the cost out among all the levels 10-19 tbh, that way you get the bulk of the power you'll get from levelling and THEN you have the grindfest

Basically think of it like this, levelling taking longer means that gear upgrades you get along the way feel more impactful, and you have more time for it to feel relevant for you to try and get high-rarity gear within a given level bracket, and it gives you a longer time to try different combinations out for skills and weapon trees, or even entire weapons

^ Just be super careful with caravans, if it bugs out you're kind of soft-locked out of caravans on that character.
I tried to turn mine to a raft along a buggy border where mobs spawn/despawn if you move two feet. Do not recommend lol

Literally all within 5 seconds of eachother. There's a crafting bottleneck around mined resources by the looks of it - that, or - people are able to progress to legendary crafting items too quickly it would appear. Either way there seems to be a bit of a disparity there. Or, am I wrong? Is this exactly as it's intended?

I'm wondering if there are plans to tweak resource scarcity? What is the intended grind supposed to look like for legendary resources? Is this alpha supposed to be in an accelerated environment and we're actually seeing a boosted version of the resources available, meaning we will be seeing MUCH more of stuff like this in full release potentially? Or are player stalls/other trading systems meant to alleviate this a bit in the future?

Tried searching a bit online, can anyone point me to where I can find out what level people I should be partying with (or the enemy level limit) to not reduce XP gained?
