Last weekend I could play the game (with some crashes) but now I'm unable to even enter the game. When loading the screen goes dark at ~12% and when the game starts to appear (see screenshot) it then crashes.

Helped a lot, but anytime I'm in lionhold I will crash. Just outside of lionhold I played for 15/20 mins without any problems.

Based on it being an alpha they may need to wipe at any time but plan to wipe as few as possible. The problem with announced wipes like the switch to phase 2 is that there will be less testing done and fewer activity as there are many that get too attached to their current progress and character. Most likely there will be people that will question any wipe announced or unannounced, because they "didn't change that much" for a wipe to be reasonable.
Based on the chat here some people seem to forget that we are testing a game.

Help me understand AoC economy, it's only one direction, there is no destruction, so no real economy? We would all have fun until everyone is gearing up, and once everyone got gear it would die? What is incentive to go and gather / craft more?

There is destruction.

Gear has a chance to be destroyed if you overenchant it.
You can lose gear from being corrupted.
Gear requires materials to repair it, not just gold (so if you have a copper sword, you might need copper + gold to repair it).
You get vital crafted materials by disencanting/disassembling gear.

Plus there'll be content updates occasionally which adds better gear, rendering older gear worse, thus giving you reasons to go and farm new stuff

Basically? Hmm. I’d hope someone has put together a video by now…

You save up glint,
buy commodities in the hunting lodge,
go to caravan npc and load the commodities on (from cargo inventory to caravan storage tab),
launch the caravan,
drive it to another city,
Unload the cargo from caravan inventory to cargo inventory.
Head to the commodity vendor in the hunting lodge,
Sell the transported commodities for more gold than you would’ve gotten from just vendoring your glint originally.

You can upgrade a caravan in a variety of ways. A common mistake people make is purchasing commodities that are too large to fit on the basic caravan (which holds 3x1 storage). If you decide to check out the system, consider just buying a couple of the 1 blue glint (or cheaper) items.

I like to play in widowed mode. atm there are assorted\ preset sizes, but NONE of them are the size and shape I prefer. sometime in the future will I be able to move the sides to where I want them to be??? Question about professions. I am in Lionhold. I am trying to make a Basalt Weapon Mold, which says it can be done in a novice stonemasonry bench which i'm using. I have the basalt. The only option in the bench is Shoddy granite ashlar block. so i got the eroded granite right next to the bench. i've crafted that about 10 times and nothing is changing. how do i get the bench to show the molds and fragments and stuff???

I have tried everything I think. The only other thought is its a modern games issue (TAA), auto-scaling's etc, and certain GPU's interactions with it. I get the same blurr in throne and liberty. In AoC its most obvous with bard & mage for me. I tweaked the graphics, and just upped sharpening so it doesn't give me a headache 😦 . Might try switching to a Nvidia card cause their dealings with mandatory TAA seems to be less blurry from what I've seen. Would be interesting to know if other people who have blurr are using AMD cards?

Hey I went through some testing and did my fair bit of reports on this quest and in this area. You are looking for a goblin in that area with Bone in the name "Bone Dunker" or something. Its hanging at the top of the stairs leading to that area (on the right after you get up there, but before you go up another set of stairs to get to that set of stairs)

Some of the scouts are skeletons, and some of the reports are looted from thse Bone goblins

Sometimes they dont spawn, other times the respawns are fairly quick. Keep a lookout for them next server reset

There is no scaling in Ashes. The more people you bring, the easier the content, but less gear/drops to roll on. There is no "individual loot" and there are modifiers to people being too high or too low in a group, or farming mobs outside your level range.

There is a % decrease to exp gain that increases with the more people you have in your party as the exp is "shared" equally between everyone in your group. A higher level player for example would get more exp reducing your exp gained because they need more of it for it to be "equivalent". But I've only heard this and don't know the math behind it.

hey ho, we're having an issue with one of the buy orders in Joeva on Aeterna. The "Travel rations" with Salmon and Wheat do not recognize the wheat in the inventory, hence we can't hand anything in. Salmon is counted properly though. Does there happen to be a workaround for this?

Having spent some time with mining Copper, Ruby, Zinc and Basalt, I feel there should be some mining shafts or other ways to acquire this material than dumb luck. Perhaps a merchant trade vendor for low quality components. I'd like to see some more ideas on how to address the issue of not enough resources to make it worth looking for or doing.
