Hello all, im currently experiencing crashes back to back to back- thuis has been happening since weekend 2 onwards. Sometimes I am getting Vram crashes, sometimes crashes with no errors at all. I am seeing that the crashes happen more often when my RAM usage exceeds 95+ in my task manager- however I am not running any programs other than ashes and discord. I uninstalled and reinstalled AoC, and had no crashes for almost 3 hours, however after the first crash I am once again having back to back crashes that prevent me from playing. My specs are-

CPU- Ryzen 7 3700x
RAM - 16g 3600Mhz

Is anyone with similar specs experiencing similar crashes? My friends with specs similar or lowrer are having no problems at all.

A Solution found for this issue that worked for me. Make sure you have Microsoft Edge installed on your PC. If you dont go to their site and install it (the site will say you have it installed even if you dont, click continue and install browser like normal). You may have to reinstall the launcher after you do this and click the microsoft edge webview2 box

Someone else had more issue than me with it and this is what they stated they did to fix it:
"1. Upgrade in place to reinstate all edge executables and deleted registry keys
2. Remove the artificial crash handlers for edge executables placed under Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Image File Execution Options
3. Follow an "Administrator has blocked this executable" error when trying to execute edge to the following registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Safer\CodeIdentifiers

where something had configured a broad policy to block all executables from folders starting with Edge under C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft
4. Reboot for the Nth time"

But my issue was just not having Edge installed on my PC. Think the Authenticator pop up uses the microsoft edge webview (thats what the white screen is from my understanding) and if you are missing Edge or the webview2 or its not updated then it cant display the authenticator. Hope that helps

When is ranger going to be a good class? It feels extremely underwhelming in comparison to lets say a mage or even a Cleric. We have so many underwhelming abilities for the class and i feel like it could use some tuning to make it feel good. We are extremely squishy, so we need the damage to make up for that. Hello @junior ember , for some reason after all steps have been completed I still don't have roll for alpha 2 on discord. I can see alpha 2 chats but can not type in them. I have a character on castus and a character on lyneth. Is there something I can do to fix this or would that be on your/the bots side? and when I click alpha 2 from read-me-first, it comes up as already connected and nothing else shows. I know its not a huge deal currently but would like to be able to chat in those areas. I had talked with ccodam on Friday evening and everything was correct on my end that we could see. Not a question exactly, wanted to say game feels too grindy could the rewards from quest give a little more experience and currency so people be insentivized in doing them. then Enable GPU crash debugging and full crash dumps

If you have access to Phase 2 which starts on Dec 20th then going by how Intrepid have done it with past phases you'll probably be able to download a day or so before phase 2 starts
