after last weekend's test, I attempted to load the launcher to update the game to play for this weekend. Every time I try updating the game, the launcher shows an empty status bar and displays "Installing prerequisite software," and then nothing happens. I've left the launcher loading for hours at a time, and the status never progresses. I've tried deleting all the files from the first download to reinstall the entire game again, and it still won't progress. Has anyone else had this issue? Any ideas on how to fix it?

Either is fine, they both have their perks. one great thing about this game is weapons are not class locked so try them out and use what you like!

The problem with making gear, is that it consumes too much time compared to grinding and buying off other people. Most people don't want to do it. I think crafting would need to be harder towards the endgame, to craft endgame gear, and easier during lev up so people actually craft. Resources feel very lacking compared to other mmos too btw

I think it's crazy to say it's overdoing it for an mmo, it's overdoing it for you, but there are entire guilds built on crafting and trading crafted gear and crafting mats.... so it's obviously important and it's important that crafted gear competes with non crafted. I don't think they'll even remotely consider taking out non crafted items as drops, and I bet you there will be more drops once dec 20th hits too :3
