I feel like this game is going to need 1000s and 1000s of concurrent active players on each server for it to work. We have one zone with 5 nodes, and the zone is pretty huge. On top of that, the other higher level zones would presumably attract more guillds to take a node, leaving the lower level zones barren. I really hope this works out because I've been having a ton of fun.

Hello, before starting the Aeterna fresh server, I created characters on other servers, I didn’t know about the limit of 10 characters on all servers and created 5 on each, for some reason the game allowed me to do this. After that I could not create a character on the fresh server. After deleting ALL characters on all servers, I was able to create ONLY 2 characters on any server, but I really want to create all 5 to test other classes. Please solve this problem.When i try to make 1 more chatacter hame write to me : "Player permission problem Code 14"

Currently the goal is 8-10k concurrent players per server realm with 50k accounts able to be created per server realm. It is entirely possible with the server meshing technically that the concurrent numbers end up higher than 8k-10k that but nothing has been said about that due to them heavily working on server stability and that we are only in the first half of A2 phase 1. We shall see what needs changing based on testing.
Plus it might be good for some areas that are node lvl 0-2 that are kind of empty of people because then rare resources could end up there overtime because no one goes to them.

I’m on 21:9 as well. I’m playing full screen, but it’s really sad that my FoV is super limited when compared to 16:9. I tried to play 16:9, but having the small game window in the middle of the screen is more irritating than having a bad FoV haha. Certainly way, way less immersive, so I just tolerate the bad FoV, but ofc that’s super frustrating and disappointing.

your fov is bad and you’re not even realizing what you’re missing out 😔 but you probably are fully zooming out, yeah? Otherwise the character is too close (because of the widescreen issue that cuts off the top and bottom of your screen). If you switch to 16:9 in-game you’ll notice the difference.

It's all how you frame it. I bought duped mats from a friend. Duped 1 time to test it. Sent a bug report and traded the mats to my other friend.

If we all duped 1 time in a chain and sent the bug report we must all be OK. We were all just testing of course.

Intrepid plans to announce what their plan for those that duped beyond what was asked and they feel went into exploiting. It was pervasive and across all servers, so your plan of trying to avoid it by server swapping wouldn't change anything. All you can do is wait and see how they address it going forward.

I just found out that getting the second class is only an augment and won't make you actually change classes for example Cleric + summoner won't really make you a necromancer. I believe Summoner has to be your base archetype for you to be necromancer. The cleric being your secondary gives you access to life and death which in turn allows you to gain necromancy by augmenting your summons into that of a necromancer utilizing cleric.

yeah, it depends on the class and the archtype. For summonor they will affect what summons and what role those summons play. For an archer with mage, itll likely give their skills an elemental boost etc

It may not even come until after live launch. It is not a priority, thus has no part in the phase schedule. If it is easy to implement, they will probably do it. If it is problematic, then it won't. They have had controller support in the past with some iterations, some worked well, some didn't. They got bigger fires to put out on a daily basis atm.

Depends on your level, 7 int is 21 magic power, which is very little at later stages, when people run around with 1.000+

1. if you look at spells, they'll say (75% magical power rating). I wonder if healing power rating is also +100% of the rating there.

The real answer then is folder/account permissions aren't 100% setup. If you want it enabled, you have to figure that out on your own. UAC is the "cheating" way to fix your actual issue. Leaving it turned off is reducing the security in your system. Don't take my advice as a professional and leave it off 😉 I'm just a keyboard warrior

There is not "unarmed" fighting weapons in the game nor punching. There is nothing in the design works for a "monk" style class at this time. If it gets added, it would be added in something like an Expansion/DLC type. But Steven has mentioned that it is not in their design book at this time.

I personally recommend getting some Adventure levels first - that way if you get aggro'd by mobs you have Hitpoints and skills you can use to kill them or escape so you dont die. Remember, dying is a loss of resources you gathered, so being able to survive is HUGE for your time investment in gathering.

I have 100% the same issue. My NVMe drive will cap at 400 mb/s write speeds, lock up my system during Delta Merge/File operations. Takes forever to install/update all patches on it.

Again I would imagine its because based on when they work which prob is already crazy hours that feels like the best timeline for them to try and fix everything before starting servers. Im not sure about AoC devs but I know there are games where they will be fixing and testing bugs or changes till 1~ before launching servers right

If you just close it down, and do it again, it should start off from where it left off when it encountered the error and it should finish the update/install.
