Generally speaking: Resna is heavily PVP focused. Lyneth is streamers/communities, but well advanced Nodes and a lot of cooperative gameplay (I play on it and it's been a blast!). Vyra has been more role playing, but I've personally not heard a lot about how things are going there.

If you roll Need you signify that is an item you actually need and your roll is prioritised. If you roll greed You signify you dont need the item, just greedy. So if someone rolls need they will get the item

Hey all, I just wanted to note that I've already submitted a /bug report in-game for this issue, but I believe it's important that this bug gets patched as soon as possible. I keep my Glint in Halcyon’s warehouse, and on Sunday I encountered a bug. When I pulled the Glint out of the warehouse, closed all windows, and reopened the warehouse inventory, the Glint was still in both storage and my personal inventory. Out of curiosity, I kept pulling the Glint out and repeating the process. Eventually, I managed to turn 3 Blue Glint into 44 Blue Glint before the game recognized the change. Is the method of bug report I did sufficient enough?

Yea you can tame a cat right away, it is EXPENSIVE for low level people tho. Costs about 65s with a 50% chance to be either a rid able mount or a beast of burden which pulls caravans. And this goes for all the rideable animals.

you can perform all artisan skills, the only cap is on the number of high level skills, so you can only reach grandmaster in 2 skills and can only reach master in 3 skills (but 2 out of the 3 slots would be occupied by the grandmaster skills as well)
in your example you could have hunting and tanning at a grandmaster level and leatherworking at a master level and then you'd be capped and wouldn't be able to learn other artisan skills to high levels

Really looking forward to phase 2, but if there will be a lot of dupes gold items on every server it will take a lot of the fun out of the testing for me, personally.

Saw the interview, just been busy the last couple of days and suddenly saw a lot of reddit posts and YouTube videos a lut duping. Thought I'd ask here since I'll be working 60+ hour weeks onwards and dont really have time to check out how big the duping problem is/was. Looking forward to phase 2 and since I'll have some more time to test/play then. So I'm looking at the pvp flagging charts on the wiki, and I'm wondering if "attacks" refers to any hostile action, or initiating combat, because if its the first it looks like if someone attacks you and you fight back at all, even if its just to CC and try to run, they will avoid corruption. Is that correct?

Correct. But you’re supposed to be immune to cc if you’re not flagged. I don’t think that’s working in the current testing though.

Right I'm thinking of the scenario where you get jumped by someone you can't beat, by attacking you they are flagged as a combatant, so you could CC them and try to run, but if you CC them, you have now flagged yourself, and they dodge the corruption penalty

Level 3 villages receive 4 buildable plots. Level 4 towns receive an extra 2 buildable plots. Vassaling is versus the node's neighbor. So if you have a Level 4 in New Aela then only Joeva would be locked to Level 3 because Winstead and Halcy borders do not reach New Aela. If Joeva would reach 4 first then Halcy, Winstead, and New Aela would be locked to Level 3 because Joeva shares a border with the other three.

The wiki states how the devs have said it's supposed to work. The language in the banking section can basically be summarized as, the devs haven't decided (or at least told us) how it's going to work for alt to alt trading.

I am curious about the mechanical functionality of the different races and the height and width specifications;
If you take a Dwarf for example and you choose the most thin and small version of it, would they have a different hitbox than an Orc who is maxed out on height and width? This would incentivise DPS/PVP optimizers to make a character to be as small as possible to be a smaller target for aoe/incoming projectiles whereas tanks would be incentivised to be as large as they possibly could so they would block more incoming projectiles.
In wow for example, if you picked a Gnome, your character would start swimming faster when going into shallow water than a human, reducing their speed significantly in those situations.
There was also a difference in the height one could jump or which narrow spaces one could get in to, or being able to jump with a lower ceiling to move horizontally when climbing...
I know they said there would be no difference between races when it comes to stats, but this isn't really stats... It's functionality.

And if the largest possible character and the smallest possible character have the same hitbox, standing/swimming/jumping thresholds, would that not look very silly on some of the characters depending on their dimensions?
