Are there any plans to expand loot tables for phase 2 of Alpha? The best spots to drop gear are overcrowded while others like minotaurs or some zombies drops pretty much zero gear. It would be also decent if some animals would very rarely drop some light/medium armor aswell, not just humanoids. Currently there is a bug issue with gear and if you want to catch up in terms of gear you are forced to farm either highwaymen hills or ursine cave (later on) or carphine.

I had a spellbow with high phys so i used it on my ranger. The phys damage scaled up my skill damage but my auto attacks were hitting 12s n 14s. I switch to a regular bow and my damage went back up to 150s.

If you look at the description of the spellbow, it says its a powerful bow with increased magical damage and cast speed. Idk if its a bug that spellbows can roll phys damage. I havent seen a spellsword roll phys damage.

AOC is not based off of Archeages progression. It is much closer to Starwars Galaxies (the original, not the later butchered version) where each person had a single character per account. And you could only master a single craft and have like a journeyman in a second craft. Players were forced to trade with each other to get the materials that they needed. There was no auction hall, each player had a "shop" to list their products/materials for sale. And you had to physically travel to each players shop, no central location. At least AOC gives us more than 1 GM and 1 JM craft but everything is still so interwoven we will all need to work with each other to get stuff done.

well i like it enough to want to stick with it and follow its development journey helping with bug reports and testing stuff. (expect things to break) its quit good for an Alpha though. the team is really quick with fixes and patches. But here's what I think. The combat simply looks and feels amazing its also challenging with a nice learning curve and ways to find new combos which is the most important thing to me when looking for an MMO unlike other MMOs ive seen were you just stand still clicking a button over and over which is fine but that's not the case here and even if it is at times, clicking buttons in this game FEELS GOOD. The combat is VERY addicting.

even mob loot is apparently penalized if you're above or below a 3 level difference?
You could 'maybe' do the majority of damage to a mob on a level one and cheese the xp when the other player does 49% of damage to it. It might make leveling 2x as fast if it works, but still kinda slow.

Be better off just getting them to give you some gear upgrades imo. Possible they could tank a ton of mobs for you

Completely agree with the testing, that part is not early access as you described, that is open beta as we all know what that means, like Diablo 4 open beta test etc.

[Corruption Question 1]
My friend and I force flagged PVP to duel. I accidentally killed him and I went corrupt.

Even though we were both smacking each other why did I go corrupt?

If this is the intentional design of the corruption, please elaborate as to why? (Is corruption location based or is PvP force flag different than going purple?)

its a bug that happened when steven fiddled with stuff to try and prevent asmon getting murdered. should be fixed soon enough. even the lawless desert doesnt force combatant flag you atm

[Corruption Question 2]

When I went corrupt due to this bug 🪳 I defended myself against 4-5 people attacking me.

I killed 2 other players and then was Corrupted III, is this part of the same bug? Or is defending whilst corrupted not something we should strive for?

not a bug thats intended, greens dont go purple while attacking a red so when you go red you should strive to gtfo dodge and find somewhere to grind the corruption off. the more greens you kill while red the more corrupted you get even if its self defense, once red all bets are off

Storage itself seems very buggy... I've had to restart multipl;e times to accesss and had items completely disappear. I'd assume those issues need to be tackled before a group box could be opened.

Mine still displays 13500 embers but it says i got it from ember package 100, so my guess would be that 1$ = 135 embers. If the 100 is referring to $.

If it is a bug, they will address it. If people were awarded double Embers through some weird reason, they will eventually catch it. Not like they are getting spent atm, so nothing they have to go back transaction by transaction to track. Intrepid has had issues with web updates to their stuff before, they will again. There is always some pearl clutching and worry by those affected, but it all gets sorted in the end.

If someone attacks your party member, and you kill them, will you go corrupt, since the technically didn't attack you, or does them being a combatant negate that?

I'd guess 50 silver (20 for weps, 30 for armor set). And for lvl 10 gear, they don't sell bronze, only brass.

I feel that only the attackers should get corruption and not someone who defends themselves. PVP attackers should be fair game for a certain amount of time with no penalty, or maybe even a bounty of some type.
