You can process more than that. If you are using the starting area stations, they are specifically made for the starter materials.

I would suggest heading to a node city. There you can process oak, ash wood, western larch, and eastern hemlock. Same thing about the spawns for these, branch out of the starter zone.

Same thing for ore processing. You can mine copper, zinc, granite, and basalt.

I've tried to review some of the other issues others brought up regarding computer hard crashing when booting up (on server select or soon after log into server).
I have replaced a PSU to a larger one (1000W), and it persists.
Done a AoC uninstall and reinstall. Have most recent GPU driver. I am not able to diagnose anything since the Event Viewer in Windows does not seem to capture any Error or Warning.
There's an information event that is "Restart manager" but that's only after I have to power my unit back on.
Any help would be appreciated.

I escorted a random dude yesterday cause he wanted to test this out. Apparently he'd tried the long-distance trip from Miraleth but got DC'd right at the end and his caravan blew up. He then escorted 20 stone from Miraleth to Winstead while I defended him and made 17 silver off of it so not a terrible haul 🤷 but it takes an ungodly amount of travel time so I'd recommend packing some more stuff. Those commodity vendors sell stuff that should net you some serious gil on the back end

I haven't actually packed any crates myself and the quests are bugged, so nothing I pick up (basalt, graphite, etc) is registering as "stone". But either way 17 silver is way better than the handful of copper I'd get for selling a stack of basalt.

The caravan system itself is just simulating supply and demand. Gather and pack any resources in one node, transport it to another node and sell it for a profit. The father away you travel, the more money you'll make

Scan for Malware: Malware can cause memory access issues. Run a full antivirus or antimalware scan to ensure your system is clean.

Adjust DEP Settings: Data Execution Prevention (DEP) is a Windows feature that can prevent programs from running if it detects code execution from restricted memory locations.

Open "Control Panel" > "System" > "Advanced system settings" > "Performance" > "Data Execution Prevention."
Select "Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select," and add the application to the list.

The only reason I don't think it's a machine thing is that I tried it on my laptop too and couldn't get it to run. Is there any shot that it's an account thing? I'll try this stuff though

Not sure and I understand your frustrations. The only reason why I wouldn't say it's an account issue is just due to the error itself. Myself personally-- I was getting a black screen "No display" error, anywhere from 5 Minutes to 5 Hours in game. I tried literally everything under the sun, from updating bios, clearing cmos, adding more ram, etc. Just some kinks needing buffed out with the launcher etc. When major game studios release games like these, they typically work alongside NVIDIA etc, to ensure that the new drivers work with whatever engine (enter dev speak here). We're just new kids on the block, and self funded. Albeit annoying, the game has my heart. I urge you to not become discouraged. We'll get through this together adventurer.
