I'm having a major problem, I can't download the game, I have been trying, the entirety of last weekend and am trying again now I have been trying to no ends, 1. my internet speed tanks to like 1 Mbps when I start downloading 2. the download bar just randomly stops completely and it cant progress the download until I reinstall it 3. I often get error during download and I need to completely delete and reinstall from scratch, where usually reinstall would just keep the progress you had, most common error is something like disconnected from internet check your connection or something like that but there are like 4 otherd except that, I cant play the game because of that

I just patched and tried to log in and having exactly the same problem. I get about 30% of the way though, clicking on choices as fast as I can while the screen glitches and flicks and then "poof" suddenly back at character select start screen. One of the times it did give me an "error code 14", but the rest of the time nothing.

• See if that lets you get EAC manually

I'm reinstalling windows 11 since all evidence points to my DirectX 12 being corrupt, so it is possible you have a corruption issue somewhere.

The older versions of DirectX had the Xinput1_3.dll file, but DirectX12 does not. This download from Microsoft should fix that.

yes, you need to google that xinput1.3.dll and download the file itself, then add it to your AoC directory folder

google "xinput1_3.dll download" and itll be the first link

keep a copy of that download somewhere too, becuase sometimes during updates or reinstalls it gopes away and you have to manually add it again
