yes, this is the bug theyve been working on. itll tell you 1, but its a fake number. you have no way of knowing and just have to wait it out, or walk away from the computer and try later after they get things fixed

Yea, 50 minute queue straight to number 1 after crash, restart the whole comp and repair launcher, then 30 minutes again this time straigh to 1 again.
About to go check firewall settings and make sure AoC install doesn't suck, maybe clear the DNS, then requeue while I go figure out dinner! Wish me luck!

So just a heads up because it happened to me, but I was in the queue for like 2.5 hours and finally gave up and requeued on a different server. Got in in like 10 minutes.

Same thing happened to RIOT when they released teamfight tactics, they're already large servers got broken by the influx. They actually broke the record for the amount of people playing a game at one time. They had to rework their whole server system. I'm assuming intrepid will try to address this as they can.

also, i think the server itself is messed. i dont think anyone will get in until they address it.. if you get to the server login screen, you can create a new character and log in without any que. but the server isnt responding(cant interact with npcs or starter weapons) and you get timed out after a minute or so

the windowed mode does have a header bar, its just off screen. if you shift + right click the icon in the main bar, then select move. use the arrow keys to move down slightly, you can then see the header bar. move it to the other screen and resize as you need

Basically. There are things like town guards to help you if people attack you in town, some respawn protection, some safe areas like locking yourself into your freehold. In most of the world people won't randomly kill you often because if they do their hit with a nasty debuff (corruption), but there are some complete pvp ffa lawless zones at the edges of the world. Easy Anti Cheat might be manually installable from the files you've got in the game folder. I think the reccomended advice atm is reinstall the game and click 'install easy anticheat' in the installation process the second time. You could also do an EAC install using some other game that runs it.

I do not mean to lower your settings, (unless you think your system actually isn't up to requirements) there's some kind of known issue GPU crash happening for some people that Intrepid wants to collect logs on. The GPU crash logs are off by default (Turning that on will cause logs to take up extra hard drive space)

There is only one problem left, that the login auth dont communicate with the AOCClient.exe, so it is staying on connection loop. Have this error since August, but they try things out. They changed the launcher to webview2 which made it worse but with virtual desktop enabled you can see the things

So tried that and tried the manual install but it just said was already installed, I'm running Windows 10 HOME but it's still coming up with the same webview error. Sometimes when it doesn't come up with that error it tells me a firewall is blocking the launcher. But I've already allowed access and even disabled the firewall/antivirus systems now and still having issues. @stable plover
