Otherwise, any production from yourself would be subjected to the NDA and TOS contracts you accepted with Intrepid. I would recommend just not getting any of it to prevent any severe negative ramifactions. but that's me being super safe and enjoying the large amounts of money I paid into the game already 🙂

The general game is not coming out friday, it is the Alpha version, which is prior to beta. We will be having weekend playtime, and in a few months more regular availability of the alpha. We will not have access to all classes, and there will be a level cap. The full game isn't done yet. The alpha is more like a way to see what is currently available and assist with testing

Yes, they are moving towards having people read the quests to understand what to do to accomplish their tasks, who to look for to get new quests and/or turn in quests. Some quest givers will have identifiers for you to easily see and go talk to, while others will be more hidden and "Blend in" with normal npc life. Not all quests will have quest markers on the map/mini-map as well for you to find and go to.

The way I think of it, is that they are having us actually explore and interact with the world instead of exploring and interacting with the UI.

There will be some of it, but Steven is a really big fan of story telling. So he is really driving that into his direction for the game. He wants your decisions in the game to matter too. There is a quest for instance, in the testing now, that if you do not read it and take it at its face value, you will accidentally kill yourself without knowing why.

I see you only have the "Alpha Two" role. so it looks like your account is connected properly. "Alpha Two" roles do not provide any additional access to other channels at this time.

If you are trying to see the Pre-Test information going on, you would have to have been invited for the Pre Alpha Two tests, and given the "Early Alpha Two" or "Pre Alpha Two" roles from Intrepid onto your Intrepid account that is linked to your discord account.

for alpha channels, you need to connect your intrepid account to discord. I needed to disconnect and connect again and it worked. You may also need to restart discord. but those simple troubleshoots should see most people having trouble get it working I think.

Linking your account provides access to the NDA channels which is the quickest way for Intrepid to communicate with testers - you can still log in when the test begins without linking but you wont be notified of any schedule changes or additional information if you do not have access to the NDA channels

There is currently a permission error and it is being investigated by Intrepid
Atm you can just try refreshing until it lets you through or wait till Intrepid resolves it on their end

I'm not sure why this would be an issue, but I get "DirectX 12 is not supported on your system. Try running without the -dx12 or -d3d12 command line argument." Even though I have Dx12 and really never had this issue before. I put in for a ticket as well.
