Has there been any indication of it closing soon?
Intrepid only gives dates when they are certain of hitting them. Previous missed dates in the past have showed them that giving vague timelines or hints leads to even more speculation and hurt feelings when things don't happen. Once they announce a date, if you are a backer or have an account, you will receive an email. The same with changes in package sales or closing dates for that. No one can tell you when something is happening, because no one knows.
Have we heard anything about showcasing Combat Pets or when they may be available in Alpha 2?
They plan to release an article on husbandry sometime in the future (see above answer). It has been confirmed that husbandry (which makes combat pets) will be in A2.

When you are corrupted, what is it that happens to you? Do you lose privileges for a long period of time.
If a combatant (purple) character, or their summon, kills a non-combatant (green) character, or any of their controlled entities, in Open-world PvP, they will be flagged as corrupted (red). Corruption gained for killing controlled entities is a lower value than killing players.

Basically yes. Your default state is non combatant (PvP flag off). If you flag or fight back against someone who’s flagged, you turn into a combatant

According to wiki you need freehold plots or gardens in player housing.

They mentioned being able to grow a plant in a pot in housing besides freeholds, but freeholds will be where farming mostly occurs
Are they working on better animal animations like pathing? It would be nice to see them move. If you leave the door open you have to go gather your hens or goats that have escaped.
you will be able to farm as much as you want at the journeyman level in nodes. you don't need a freehold to engage in farming early or often. just at the highest level

i recently saw the freehold stream where steven said that the footprint of the house is a safezone so can people camp your freehold for when you try to harvest or process in the other parts of your freehold

Yeah he said just the house is safe. Assuming someone wants to corrupt their player enough to do that to you.
You can add people to your family and they can manage your freehold through permissions you give them

well when you are killed a portion of the materials on you drop say someone knows you are a master artisan they can camp you for a chance at those mats when you leave the safety of your house to say process or craft using the workstations on your freehold
Pretty much, they aren't really meant to be a solo endeavor. More of a group thing with your family.
If it's worth the risk they might. There are repercussion for doing things like that. Probably not worth it. The bigger risk will probably be shipping your processed good to town. All speculation though, not really Q&A anymore.
camping open world resources is always a valid tactic. but camping a freehold seems like the worst decision possible, considering you have one of the few places in game you cant be killed right next to you, as well as a storage system where you can store your goods. but again, people camping a FH because they think you might leave with something they want is valid

Your flagging status is only being affected by PvP, not PvE

We don't specifically know of mounts with stealth (afaik), but we do know mounts will have different abilities, so it's entirely plausible.

Regarding Mastery. Think i read that we would be able to master 2 things is that right? If so would that be 2 withing the same branch i.e 2 in gathering or can we choose to master 2 things overall across all 3 (gathering/processing/crafting) so 1 mastery in mining and 1 in scribe? 🙂

is this game endgame going to be forced group content? modern MMO's punish people that want to play solo and force you to play with others in order to gear your character etc. Soloing isn't a thing anymore and I don't like that, I wonder if this game is going to be the same
soloing has never been a viable way to do endgame stuff in mmorpg's
and yes you will need groups for endgame pve
The sense I get is that solo will exist, but have limited efficiency. Interactions involving nodes are definitely geared toward including solo players.

That being said, AoC is group-focused. You can surely do some activities solo but if you wanna have the full experience you'll need to find yourself a group to play with
Ashes is more group focused than other modern MMOs.
And @thick fjord my understanding is that these free holds are places of social and mechanical interaction with other players. So in theory there are players coming and going. If you get corruption (aka flagged for pvp) then any or presumably all of them could kill you with no repercussions.
Also add in that the more people you kill the higher your corruption and the weaker you become.

If it's a bounty hunter that chasing you with a prime, you're still 100%
If you are on a highest tier science node, it has been stated you can fast travel to freeholds. If this is/remains true, that would be another reason. Bounty hunters and players could simply teleport right to you.
Taken in aggregate there are a LOT of ways griefing and camping will be discouraged.

I don’t think we know anything public about loot drops, but from the impressions I have gotten from streams is that it will be much like some other mmos where you can get some stuff from content you can complete solo, but there will be group content that is designed for more people that you almost definitely won’t be able to solo

There has yet to be an announcement for Alpha 2
Beta 1 and 2 will be after alpha 2 launches
For bosses for example there is different system based on blend of tagging + damage done.
During party there will be loot FFA, lootmaster, round-robin, and need/greed.
Also there is no plans for "exclusive drops" for participation, the drops from bosses/group content will all go to this system, there is no participation prizes.
Regarding this question, while it is possible to play solo, for sure it will end up being way harder than for those who play with organized groups.
Many game mechanics such as caravans, open-world dungeons, bosses in general (not only world boss) and GvG you would be basically out.
Not to mention that playing solo would have way higher risk of others trying to power abuse by numbers.
In the end it is possible, but for sure there will be limitations.
Also you will always depend on others in the game due to the way the game is design for example the artisan classes are made, the experience will never be solo.
Does anyone know if Freeholds reflect the level of the node are they always max level. I am assuming that the stations reflect the node but was not sure.
The size dosent change based on node progression, but expansions and upgrades are unlocked as the node progresses.

That image is just an example on how its going to be laid out. It's not an accurate representation of scale
From the information we got they just mentioned "inside the blueprint", and they also mentioned that it will be possible for other players to attack you while ure inside the freehold, so most likely only intern parts of the freehold will be the safe area, not the whole freehold

When any node is successfully sieged it gets fully destroyed

artisan cosmetic skins do not have to match a specific profession. Any Freehold artisan building cosmetic skin can go on any artisan building. Note that artisan cosmetic skins go on artisan buildings and not the individual profession stations themselves.

Is there a cap on the number of citizens a node can have? And do you have to be a citizen of a node to have a freehold next to it?
I doesn't sound like there is a cap but it's like diminishing returns. It becomes harder and harder to become a citizen to a point its prohibitive.
You don't have to be a citizen. Getting a freehold will give you the opportunity to become a citizen though. (pretty sure this is correct, I know it is with apartments).
owning property be it appartment/freehold etc is a prereq of being a citizen iirc
no you dont have to own it you can rent a room in a inn and that lets you get citizenship
havnt seen any of that on the wiki it only states and inn/publicn house provices temporary accomodation nothing about citizenship

Steven stated in the Ashen Forge Q&A (I believe it was then) that you don't have to be a citizen to get a home but getting a home is needed to be a citizen. Then you can choose whether you want to be a citizen or not.

It's complicated.
PvP (Player versus player combat) is the catalyst for change in Ashes of Creation. Player combat is intended to be meaningful, ranging from Caravan battles to vast open world conflicts fought for the pride of Kings and Queens.
Because players are motivated by different things, because they want something from the game that other players don't wan...

If you're a non-combatant or a combatant and you die you drop a percentage of your gatherables that you carry.
If you're corrupted you have a small chance of dropping gear too

yes, its heavily discouraged to be red, thats the idea
there will be very few situations where its a decent idea to go red
one example might be if you watched someone mining at a resource node for a couple hours
it might be worth your time to kill them, take what they drop, and hope you can burn off the corruption before you get killed

havent really played wow so cant answer you there, but when you die, you respawn at certain locations on the map that have sorta a "wisp" type appearance
well in wow you can chose to be resurrected at an angel that dampesn your stats for like 15 minutes
then it goes away
but I still would gladly recover from those if a pos gets corruption from killing me lmao

Hey was just chatting with a friend about freehold crafting stations. A freehold can hold up to 6 additional buildings with some buildings being "larger" and taking up more room. My friend seems to remember something about only being able to have single max level crafting station on a freehold. Can anyone confirm or are we able to have up too 6 max level crafting stations on a freehold?
To be clear it's max level processing, not max level crafting, that is in nodes. That aside, they said that you could only max a building into one branch of the tree. If you wanted to cover all branches you would need separate buildings to cover all bases. So that would indicate you can have multiple maxed buildings to me.
Was just reading the blog post about freeholds, was wondering:
Can you cancel your freehold?
It says two ways you can lose your freehold are losing a siege and failing to pay property tax, but if you want to keep the items stored on that freehold but don't mind losing the location itself (say you're busy for the next month or so and can't make much time to grind to pay property taxes or you just want to buy a different freehold plot if you don't like your current one), is there a way to do so? Or do you have to just caravan the materials into a temporary bank and transfer them back in at a later date? If you can cancel your freehold, are your materials saved with it?
Second question:
If freeholds can be purchased when a node reaches level 3, does that mean the actual city (I mean the main hub of the node, not the level 4 name, City) stops growing in size at that point? If not, how does it account for baronies bought really close to the main node? Does it just grow around them or are baronies far enough away that a node can reach Metropolis without ever touching one? Can I essentially set my house up to be a giant toll/checkpoint gate if I work with the mayor to put the entrance of a Metropolis exactly where my house is?

I'm not 100% sure what you are looking for but you can sell your freehold and you should be able to caravan your resources to wherever you want before you do so.

I haven't seen anything specific on this but it does look like the area's freehold can be placed are predetermined to an extent. They wouldn't let you place a freehold in the area a node's metropolis would take up.
By predetermined I mean like the this. The Baronys are swaths of lands that contain estates that contain a freehold.
Can I expect hundreds of hours spent on stuff outside of either Pvp or PvE. Just casual farming. Smithing etc?
Seems to be that way. Haven't seen a ton on crafting. We should before too long. We know that animal husbandry for example is very in depth though. Tons of possibilities and layers to making mounts, cosmetic pets, combat pets, etc. Then training them up. Also a pokemon type of vibe with a building knowledge base as you discover new things. If other crafting is similar, should really take up time.
Another aspect is that they are trying to make lower level or common materials required by almost everything. So any level of gathering should be relevant.
Mostly speculation but gathering, processing and crafting seem very in depth.

Rather than single max level, some buildings on max level seem to prevent others reaching max level from what I understood. So towards the end you wont be able to max all, just a certain amount of them 🤔 no numbers I know yet.
Can understand the concern but I highly doubt they would. Anything that would interfer with friends playing together would automatically gain a lot of hate
So from what I remember, after war declaration this transferring will not be really possible, since everyone would start to do that.

Also usually freehold belongs to the node, and to some degree the node after being destroyed is also plunderable, so it wont matter if you bring it to the bank or keep it in the freehold if you lose the nodewar.

It will not stop growing, since there should be a distance from the city node 🤔 - so when it grows further there might be more guild baronies with more freehold spaces. freehold distance is 100m from each other, not info about how far from city yet.

No they cant, but thats the whole point of the corruption system. Since becoming corrupt has pretty significant down sides I would imagine people who want to kill others are going to make it worth it, kill higher level people with better gear, better bags thus carrying more loot ect.
They have it so that high levels just 1 tapping low levels is so un-worth it that i think most people wont have to worry about it

Do you get corrupt status when you attack/loot a caravan?
Caravans are open-world pvp zones. It is intended to pvp there, so im fairly certain that you do not get corrupted when attacking/looting it.
Caravans are a pvp battleground, meaning you will automatically flag as a combatant. Corrupted players will remain corrupt however.
The majority of players will experience PvP through opt-in objective-based battlegrounds. These are high risk and high reward encounters that do not utilize the corruption system.
The majority of PvP that players will encounter- the vast majority- will be through consensual systems, meaning opt-in systems like sieges, like caravans, like wars, or...
Just to reiterate what we know about Freeholds. Gaining a Freehold will be a monumental achievement. It will take lots of time, effort, and resources. Not to say a dedicated solo player can't get one, the majority of people gaining a Freehold will be backed by lots of other players. It's meant to be that way. A Family oriented end game of sorts part of the game that you could end up losing a week later due to a siege.

Have seen neither confirmation that they are still in or if they are not at this point, they have not talked about them for a bit now publicly. Have also not seen if there are node type specific (like: martial, religious ect node) buildings that might be able to be built on a freehold as well. Will have to await more clarification on this to know.
So a not yet corrupted player attacks a guildmate. I defend my guildmate and the attacker dies. Do I get corrupted?

As replied above by Arc, basically the combat system outside pvp events where everybody is flagged automatically is based in green(non-combatant), purple(combatant) and red (corrupted).
In your case if the players who is attacking your guildmate was green before doing so, he would have turned purple once he attacked a green or purple player.

While SA servers are not confirmed, the confirmations we have is for the game to have Portuguese translations.¹

I do have another question tho. Based on the class augmentation system. Let’s say I have rogue as my primary class and chose mage as my secondary class which will be a Nightspell class. Will it be like the secondary class skill sets will just be added to the primary class skill sets? Or will it create a unique/distinct skill sets for a nightspell class?
You can take that teleport augment, apply it to your charge skill: now instead of charging x distance over time you're going to immediately teleport to the target dealing x damage and a condition modifier. If you were to apply the elemental school to your class ability you would then instead you would charge x distance; upon reaching target you would set the target ablaze if it's fire or you would electrocute them and deal with damage over time. – Steven Sharif (pulled from the wiki)

Now for the Rogue's Stealth, I have no idea how the augments might affect it. And since we don't know what other kinds of skills they will have we can't exactly speculate how such will affect them. But if we go by the types of augments weapon attacks can likely burn, freeze, or stun based on the augment used. If teleport is added it'll likely be a form of "Flash Strike" where you teleport to your opponent and make an attack.
Nice. I’ve been eyeing for a Rogue base class then augment it with mage class.
For the Spellshield class, the Tank's Grapple will likely turn into a forced teleport for an enemy, instead of linerally dragging them to you, it'll likely force them to teleport infront of you.

Love the ideas for the game and the freeholds. I really hope the best for Ashes! Here is my concern: The Freehold auctions bids should only use account bound currency (I do understand that there will be different ways to obtain them). If tradeable currencies such as gold are allowed to be used, only large guilds will own those freeholds. Large "Zerg" guilds will outbid every small guild or friend group on the server. To think otherwise is very naïve. If they do not do something about Large guild "zerging" or "money pooling" they will push out smaller teams. People quit playing when this stuff happens to servers. Archeage, New World, and many other MMOs have seen this first hand when one giant group/guild takes over a server. They push everyone else out. Then when small groups are forced to change servers, just to attempt to play the game, they are so far behind and these spots will be taken by either the same reason or other players have purchased all the freehold spots on that server. That is when people will quit playing the game period. I really hope they lock Freeholds to individual achievements only to allow everyone a fair chance at competing for them. Has the team thought of solutions for the scenarios above?

I have had a pretty good read so far but cant seem to confirm my question. It talks about both patron guild halls and freehold guild halls but not if we are able to obtain both or only one? or if we can become to patron guild of multiple nodes

Considering that there will be about 2000 freeholds based on land size and the estimated server size is roughly 50k players, that would mean that there will be plenty of freeholds for non zerg guilds available. You might not get freeholds in the most populated areas, but you and your guild can get one if you pool for it as far as we know
- 8-10 k server is projected with initial up to 15 k for log in que issues. With hopes of moving up to 50k "over time" whatever that means. 2) 50k even proves my point further that Freeholds needs to be an individual achievement alone.

I wanted to give some feedback regarding that, but it doesnt seem to be clearly defined yet?
it seems like baronies are predefined, so they "exist" before the nodes exist. this implies that they are scattered across the map in advance and are "activated" when nodes reach stage 3, but this has not been explicity stated
The placement of the nodes in their respective ZOIs is also predefined, right?
When a node goes up, its ZOI grows. So at some point the ZOI will go over another node which is locked. This means you should be able to get a freehold for a plot of land inside that other node through the parent node.
From what I understand, baronies can have POI inside them, but your freehold cannot be on top of it. You still need to place your freehold in a free spot inside that baronie, doesnt mean it's free everywhere

No, there are no "permanent" freehold guard npcs.
NPC guards that permanently exist on a freehold are not a planned feature.[4]
You have to realize that the image in the article is meant for edification and clarification purposes and does not represent an actual node in game or how the information is presented to players. It is meant to give you a grasp of the concept, not extrapolate actual map density and numbers. Nodes vary in shape and size and zoi reacts to how they have structured their world manager/algorithm. Once the node focused livestream drops even more information will make concepts clearer. (or that is the hope)

They usually do them on the final Friday of the month. We should get a date confirmation sometime this week.

We've been told that beds in your house increase rested experience. Do you get the rested experience from sleeping in it while offline, or do you get the increased rested experience while offline, and you don't have to interact with it before logging off? (I hope it is compulsory to lay in before you log off for content purposes)

Rested xp is system whereby characters may accumulate a bonus modifier for XP gains.
You basically get a bonus % xp gain buff until you reach the rested xp total you’ve gained
So if you have 0 xp and sleep in an inn and get 1,000 rested xp, every point of xp gained until you reach 1,000 xp will be increased by a %

I like the idea of flying mounts only accessible to mayors. Will there be gear, furniture etc that have a limited number of them so when you see a player with them you know they have something rare. Would also be cool to see this same idea for items for pve and pvp so pve is unlocked for completing certain first ever, first of the month ie killing a rare boss/ world boss, and pvp you get rare items when you kill someone and you lose it when someone kills you.
Not sure about furniture, but there will be items that are very rare (legendaries) and even unique (one per server)

And i wonder how stealth will work in that case ? Do getting hit will unable the stealth ? Do the stealth guy can be "hit by accident" if you target someone between you two? Idk.. i feel like stealth and action combat is a bit confusing for me.

Flying mounts are available to not only mayors but guild castle owners, and also there will be limited mount egg drops that will give you flying mounts. Those will of course be limited and i think its said that there will be 15-20 flying mounts on a server at any given time
In A2 will they allow players to have a lvl 50 character to test freeholds at some point or are we levelling to 50 in the persistent test world?

Kind of feel like having a straight up realistic test of levelling to 50 to unlock freeholds would give both players and devs a good measure of what the overall experience would be like and how people react to the process and outcome. If we're to test most of the core systems with how they think will work best then we'l be able to really flesh them out and give genuine feedback on what we feel works and doesn't work.

AoC is not an action combat game, it's tab target with the option of using an action camera style which utilizes soft targeting near the cursor position.
You can blind fire certain types of attacks, while others will require a target, stealth would still be hittable by the attacks that dont require a target, as it is by those types of attacks in other tab target games, such as aoe attacks
If i think i see you as rogue and throw a fireball or whatever at your character (no target attack) would you get out of your stealth O.O ?
Better question would be, "why wouldn't being hit by a spell while stealthed not knock you out"
We don't really know the specifics about how stealth will work, but you'll certainly be hittable by aoe attacks in it

tbh Steven's statements about stealth have been extremely confusing, cause he says things like "stealth won't make you completely invisible" and then in the next sentence he says there are specific skills and stuff that reveal stealth, which seems to be how he's defining "not completely invisible", as far as I can tell, stealth will make you invisible to other players, so it's not a thing where they can just see you.

There are arenas. And open world pvp enabled areas for a time after a successful siege. But there is nothing like alterac valley or such planned. Previous testing had capture the flag and point objectives in small arenas. But we havent seen that iterated upon in years here.

The PK count that stacks and does not go away throught the same exp mechanic as corruption has been used in other games. Steven just took it from them and tweaked it. There is a separate quest mechanic planned to reduce your "lifetime PK count"

A portion of all materials and processed goods are sunk when a node is destroyed. There is then a portion that is lootable in their "open pvp arena ruins" for a time after that. You do not lose crafted items or the layouts of your house. They can be rebuilt for a fee at a later time in another node. There is no safe space anywhere in the game for gathered or processed materials. Just end products.

If you scroll up in #news and find the pack announcement, it always will include the date the packs swap over. They also tease the next pack a day before the packs switch over so you have a period to decide between the two

Anything you have purchased is account bound and does not go away on use. There are some items like Embers (currency) and dyes that may be available in the future on the cosmetic shop that may have limited uses. But cosmetics are always yours, and sub time is not applied till "live launch" so that is not consumed till then either.

The accessories change as to type. There is always a costume. There is always a pet. There is always a mount. The caravans, freehold skins (there has never been an in node house skin), and naval skins alternate.

The team looks at everything being discussed on the forums. Yes, feedback is looked at longer than 2-4 weeks after posts go up (if those threads continue to be active).
What gets gathered into a specific report happens shortly after the date listed in feedback threads. While we still look at player feedback and the team discusses, if that feedback comes in much later it may not be included in a specific report.
Throne and Liberty has been in development for 12 years, still not out.
Metroid Dread, a Nintendo game, was in dev for 15~ years.
Wildstar took 9 years.
ESO took 7 years.
ArcheAge took 7 years.
FF14 including the rework took 9.
New World took 6+ and was shit with 0 content at launch and buggy af.
Riot MMO won't be out till at least 2027, probably 2028, so 7+ years.
And all of these studios had massive dev teams from the get go, unlike Ashes which started with 15~ in 2017.

We're in between alpha 1 and 2 right now. A2 hasn't started yet and there is no date for it. The vids are titled as such to basically explain that the systems/features/content in the vid is a work in progress of what will be seen in Alpha 2

There are social organizations planned. There are ways for people to play "evil" but no supported systems for that planned. And if by "outlaw" you mean "corruption free" nodes or settlements, no.
Check the wiki on social organizations, might give you a better idea. There are also several forum posts with people and their wishlist of various "outlaw" activities that in some cases have been rejected in previous livestream answers or have not been commented on by Intrepid.

That's a known issue, there's nothing to worry about.
Will there be farming options for people who do not own freeholds in ashes?
You'll be able to farm and progress in nodes only up to a certain point. Once you hit a certain level of proficiency, you will not be able to do higher tier farming unless you go through the entire process to own a FH or find someone willing to let you use theirs. This is the same across all processing professions. Gathering and Crafting do not have this limitation, but have other ways to manage scarcity (node spawn rate, blueprints, etc.)
You'll also be able to plant a few seeds in pots in an instanced apartment/other housing but not large scale farming
F... owning farming land was THE selling point on this game for my wife and friends. Hopefully the apartment has enough flower pots lol
If you have wife and friends, you are on your way to having a guild and family group. No one knows how difficult getting a freehold will be to say that you and your 7 friends could not grind out enough content and currency to own a freehold shared among all of you. But you gotta put in the work. If they want 3d Farmville, check out Palia.
You'll have more than enough time before launch to find out the exact difficulty in obtaining a FH through the iterations in A2, so I wouldn't worry about it until then
I get you can work for it, which is cool, but you can also lose it a week later after a siege; which I mean sure, that's the design, I'm not gonna argue that. My only thing is it's unfortunate there isn't a bit more farm sim for the casual gamers who enjoy that. And yes, Palia will be downloaded; but Palia probably won't be played in 2027 😛

I come from Eve Online where lots of useful things like player history for potential spies, Skills so that compostions can be theorycrafted, market values outside the game as well as recipes for crafter theory crafting

will skill trees allow the abilities to be upgraded separately from the augment systems? like, will skills grow in power based on character level, or will you need to spend talent points to upscale them? or even "gain experience" in a skill based on its usage?
If they stay with past iterations you gain a number of skill points and then assign them into archetype abilities. This would occur up until 25 for the primary and till 50 for the primary. At 25 you would start to gain the ability to augment from your secondary class. Until they reveal more of those plans (since beyond some examples given over the years of what they plan, but no details) no one knows. Weapon skill trees may have a different "on use/gain exp" system for passive acquistion. Also unknown at this time.

The freehold system is way deeper than whatever NW faction system is
you might be mistaking freeholds with nodes
freeholds are a type of housing that are located in the open world. a player can pool funds within their family to bid on them. freeholds can also contain processing stations, or a player run buisness. processing is 1 of the 3 artisan paths, the other 2 being gathering and crafting
nodes on the other hand are locations on the map that start as wilderness, and grow as people get XP within the area
Artisan Buildings sounds very similar to how crafting stations are in New World.
freeholds dont really provide a "head start" as you have to be level 50 to bid on one, but if you want to master a processing professions, then you need to have a freehold, or know someone who would let you access theirs
Maybe not a head start but still a big advantage over other players. Just how much control over the others will they have is what I am worried about.
it would only give an advantage if you care about processing or running a buisness, but its also a risk, since you might buy one, and then the next week, your node gets sieged and your freehold gets destroyed

there will be "low thousands" amount of freeholds, and since freeholds can be shared with family members + possibly guild mates, we will hopefully not run into the problem of monopolization, but time will have to tell

Is there any way the game is going to prevent beta/alpha testers from essentially "solving the game" (fastest leveling routes, all secret unlocks and quests, BiS or meta Gear/skill trees. etc.) before launch? Or does the game provide content/new experiences from the changing world with the "Node System" instead?
Not all quests and lore will be in game. They feel with the amount of eyes on streaming that playing in the Alphas and Betas give no real advantage. Also, the testing phases are for iteration and change and what you see during testing may not be indicative of your server on launch.

Is GDKP allowed in ashes? Have they said anything about it
it has not been talked about as far as i know but i would assume none RMT GDKP would be allowed. tho i dont know how it would work when there is very little instanced content
GDKP is not typically direct RMT it usually only involves in game currency (it can be RMT but that’s not what i was referring to)

and GDKP is well known for being a massive RMT pit there is a reason why it has such a bad name in wow and other mmo's
If u control RMT separately and stop it GDKP is still beneficial u either get gear or gold no one leaves empty handed

Hello, as passionate pvp player, I want to ask if there will be some pvp video updates in future, and if you improve pvp by some more options, like battlegrounds and arenas, you know... Something like (i have one hour time so lets do 3 bgs). These questions do not refer to the first release of the game, but to the far future, for example some sort of new datadisc. Thank you 🙂

Idk about a cosmetic but they will have a underground biome of the under realm so while maybe not a cosmetic they will probably have in game stuff. As well as the Tulnar are a whole race that has their roots from the under realm
Do we know if players will be able to do “world quest” to restore any of the ruins of old Vera?
They have not mentioned any plans for content like that, though with what they have spoken about in the past with their world manager it could be possible on their side in a persistent state. We know they have recently changed how node destruction is displayed after a node siege win to display ruins for the time period it is an "open world pvp zone" that people can fight over the remaining resources that were dropped. Not a huge stretch to make it happen the other way to POIs based on node or quest interaction.
This is great news to me. I’ve been asking for a lvl 0 node(ruins) for awhile. The idea that players could destroy a city and it would revert to trees and rocks instantly bothered me. Thanks for answering my question but that’s not the best news you gave

After a node is destroyed, the footprint of the node will enter a ruined state and will become an open PvP zone for a number of days equal to the node's level. These ruins consist of a debris field of treasures that are lootable by players (attackers or defenders) entering the area.[2][3][4][5][6][7]

Ruins only last for two hours after a successful siege though right? Do we know how long it will take for the land to revert back to normal?
No, it is the number of days based on the level of the node. The freehold vulnerability window is currently two hours until testing gives them other indications.
